The Bringer of Prophecy

[Edited 5/3/21]

The docks were crowded as everyone waited to see what had come back from the other solar systems. Burakku was the first to approach the ship and had to hoist himself onto the deck by a hanging rope. I watched as he landed onto the deck of the ship and grabbed a rope that was attached to the railing as he pulled the rope as a plank came from the bottom of the ship as it came out vertical but began to tilt touching the docks.

After the wooden plank was solidly on the rim of the dock Burakku winged back onto the dock and patted the dirt off of his hands as several demons began to roll barrows and carry crates down the plank and onto the dock which several lumerians and demons began to organize and carry them to the wagons to be separated into the correct storage areas. They had a fine system of doing things. I found it fascinating that they can be so organized to a point where they can make little trips now and then.

"So boss," I heard a monotone voice called from the top of the ship's deck and saw a very familiar blindfolded demon, "is it alright to bring our guest down to meet Kur-sama?" Burakku gave me a questioning look before I nodded my head as he cupped his one clawed hand, "Yeah we're ready to lead them to the castle where we have the privacy." Burakku gave a nod towards Seimi as he gestured to me heading back to the center of the village in which was the location of the castle. Looking behind I could only catch the glimpse of a bright sky blue before I turned into the rows of crates and barrows.

"So why such a guest?" Seimi asked as he placed his quill he used to write with back into the headgear he wore and looked back at Burakku. "Who knows the deity just came up to my crew and told them that they needed to come here for an urgent message. At first, my crew was very wary but after the deity showed them the emblem they contacted me and I gave the command for the deity to come here," Burakku sighed as he rubbed the back of his head, "sorry Kur-sama for not telling you that I allowed someone without your permission first."

I shook my head as Semi reclined himself to my left as Burakku stayed to my right, "you have done your best and I do not understand why it must be that you always apologize for your decisions for what is the best of this solar system. I wouldn't have made you devil if I hadn't thought you couldn't make very efficient decisions on the behalf of myself and the solar system." At the corner of my vision I could see on my left Seimi nodding his head in approval as to the right side of my vision I could see Burakku become flustered. I gave a soft smile as I knew his over-enthusiastic ego got a little boosted by my comment.

"N-now there Kur-sama there's no need to be so supportive or complimenting me. I only serve you and this solar system. I take great responsibilities for the choices and commands I do to ensure your happiness and the other celestials that live here." I simply nodded my head as I listened to Burakku as he spoke.

It was relieving that he greatly enjoyed his role as the devil. It set some ease to my worries as we walked closer to the castle. Giving a small smile and a hum the gates opened as the two lumerians who were doing meaningless chores gave a bow before going back to doing what they were doing as we passed. Without giving it much thought we had made it to the courtyard, the main entrance before the throne room.

I didn't want one cause of how small my star is but the demons and lumerians insisted that I do have one. Just in case. What does that mean? Burakku gave a slight cough which the demons who were gardening and tending to the green life looked up before nodding towards us and left the area.

They knew when and where to be in as for meeting wise or just a simple discussion. It is reliving that this is better than taking wild guesses. Entering the throne room Burakku stopped as well as Seimi did as I took a few more small steps before turning around facing the doors anticipating our guest to come through the door. Not long after the doors opened wide as Senerity and our guest arrived before the doors closed to almost a crack. Senerity bowed before turning to Burakku.

"I have done as requested," their scratchy voice was a low humming tone towards the surroundings, "shall I await outside for further instructions?"

Burakku shook his head as he simply waved his hand, "that is fine you have other matters to attend to I will call for you if anything changes."

With that Senerity gave a bow and left closing the heavy-set doors fully. The natural lighting flooded the room as if it was a place that was rumored from others to mimic a faith that is full of hypocrisy. Then again I've heard worse rumors about this faith more than good gestures so I know to avoid such cases.

I gave a deep exhale before nodding my head towards their side glances as I looked forward to our guest. I do admit this particular being is an interesting type. After going over the features of this guest I began to notice some features that strike me as odd. Or what I have come to learn as strikingly particular features that define our standards of different faiths.

From the strikingly navy blue hair to the azure blue facial features resembling the shape of that of a zigzag which many had told me was a lazy design for a resemblance of surging bright light electricity. The pale completion of tanned skin gave the dead giveaway that they are from a tribal setting. The clothing was different as well. Aside from the feathers that were hanging from a single strand of hair.

They wore a leathered textured poncho along with the same textured kelt like a skirt design before going to soft leather pants and particularly designed feet covering. The name of the design I do not know. I watched as they got to one knee and placed a close fist to the floor a centimeter from where their right foot was placed in front of them. This must be their traditional way of greeting a different faith. Or I may be wrong.

"Greetings fellow traveler I was informed last minute of your arrival so sorry for not the best hospitality I could offer," I spoke softly as Burakku side glanced towards me, "there is no need to bow in this room every one of any species of faith are viewed as equals." The deity looked up before standing straight and nodding their head.

"I see," their voice was as smooth as sharpened stones, bringing a brush of ease to the greeting, "unfortunately you do not need to worry about hospitality for thy one as I only have a message and have no intentions for delaying your attention any further from your solar system. Before thy start, I shall introduce myself."

The deity gave a slight bow before placing their hand across their chest, "I am one of the deity's that are in my faith that can share close similarities towards the celestial race, I represent the bringer of prophecy and bring warnings for those in dire need. In my faith, they call me thy Thunderbird. But thy shall call thy by Lenix as a subtitled name the others in my circle have called me." They gave a breath between their sentences.

It was an interesting concept of meeting other faiths and meeting one that is highly respectful of others. I can not lie that these different faiths pique my interest. Giving a nod towards their introduction Burakku spoke up and reflected the deity's composure, "Greetings I am this solar systems Devil, I hold the responsibilities of the demons and demonic energies, my crew may have referred me as to Shifter on travels but my given creation name is Burakku."

Then it was Seimi's turn as he also reflected the composure, "And I am Seimi, the second one to hold the title of Elder for this solar system, I hold the responsibilities for the Lumerians and soft light energies, I go by my creational given name of Seimi."

I watched as Lenix gave a gesture of respect as I tried to reflect the same composure I heard their voice again, "there is no need to introduce yourself, Star of Dreams, as I already know you from the visions thy and thy brethren have received. I have come here against my brethren's wishes to hope that they could change a very drastic outcome in near future. I am breaking several oaths and bindings of my faith to stand here in front of you today. I pray for only your ears and to have fate in changing the outcome I had envisioned about....... I pray that thy hear me out."

Lenix's face was contorted with worry and pain. Lenix was risking plenty just to be here so it must be important. Could it be tied to the uneasiness and my restless concerns? I must hear them out to confirm my own uneasiness. "I'm listening......."
