Justice to No End

Kur followed behind the Lumerian who had introduced themselves as Twilight. Walking further into the mansion they came to big oak wood doors as they opened the doors. Inside was very bare besides a desk and a large luxurious bed. "Lady Akumu was very basic when it comes to their personal space but always gave us all things we desired as an earning and when chores were complete as a reward," Twilight said as Kur walked into the room.

"They were very generous then," Kur said as they walked over to the desk first, "so their items were a select few, so what would be considered so precious to them?" Kur questioned themselves as they searched the desk and inside the drawers. Nothing very personal in them as Kur moved to the bed to see a laced-up covering. a patch sitting on top resembling a flame. Nothing else stood out to Kur as they picked it up and studied it.

"Lady Akumu spoke of someone gifting it to them and never returning and how Lady Akumu dearly misses them still to this day," Twilight spoke before Kur could ask the question. It was a beloved one that Akumu cared deeply for... it was unheard of in the Star Celestials, but they do at one point in time desire something that isn't easily reachable. Kur turned to Twilight and gave a soft smile.

"Then this is what they treasure the most," Kur spoke softly, "but it needs something more..." Kur looked back down at the patch and hummed before smirking and held a hand above as the light hue of aqua light blue glowed as the object came to life as if it were truly a real flame. "There this should give off the same energy as if it was a true object of stability." Kur headed toward the door as Twilight moved aside before following Kur closely behind. Coming back to the room Chuma was still zoned into healing Akumu as Kur came next to him without uttering a word. "How are they?" Kur asked, watching as Chuma tenses before looking up and seeing them.

"They're almost healed through the long burn scar and will not fade or even budge... I fear that will be there as long as they live but for the most part, every wound is healing," Chuma signed, "did you find anything that Akumu might've held dear?" Kur nodded their head and held it in front of Chuma, "good now place it near the piece that was broken off and I'll start focusing my magic in that area so it would stabilize their core." Kur nodded and placed the flame object by the right side of Akumu's head as it glowed the same indigo color as it melded into Akumu's attire. "There," Chuma left out a breath of baited air as the indigo hue faded away, "the rest is up to them to accept the new object into their core... Now we should help and have the young ones tucked into bed for rest... You there," calling to Twilight, "you and the other one, the demon Kagome, seem to be older than the rest do you suppose you can help me and Kur settle everyone for the night?"

Twilight nodded her head and gathered the children and started whispering to them as they all nodded their heads running off into the hallways, "Twilight has spoken to them that it's dreaming time and to head to bed," Kur overheard the whispering.

"They are very intelligent to do all this in these stressful moments," Chuma stood dusting himself off before reaching up to grab his hat, "though you couldn't grab the crystal I am sure they still have to report about their discoveries about today so that'll give some time before they decide on attacking again but for now we should turn our focus to finding your old Devil, Burakku." Chuma took off his hat and pulled back his hood, unclipping his mask.

"The main question is where to look first?" Kur mirrored Chuma's concerned look. "It's been so long to them compared to my time spent in Makai that Burakku could be anywhere by this point... Lenix did mention Burakku visiting them from time to time but that could take for years in the Celestial Realm?"

"The Celestial Pirate, Burakku?" Akumu's voice broke both Chuma's and Kur's attention, "I haven't heard that name for several years... though I have heard that he dwells near the market near the northern lights. This time of year they sell objects for spell casting so they should be there as Burakku is looking for one book of tracking and target spells." Chuma looked to Kur before nodding his head.

"Thank you," Chuma kneeled, "how are you feeling?"

Akumu was silent for a few seconds before slowly sitting up, "I feel relieved but a little worn as so much of my magic was used to block severe damage... but I wholeheartedly thank thy for healing and restoring my core's balance as in which I owe a great amount to the kindness that a Lich and a Blackhole has displayed for a lowly Star such as myself." Chuma flinched as Akumu stated the word Blackhole again, looking back Chuma saw no reaction to such claims from Kur. Could Kur not know what a Blackhole meant? "As I will be at your services whenever you may need them," Akumu gave a soft smile as they stood to their full height before touching their scars, frowning.

"I'm very apologetic because the scars won't heal. All I can do is clean it from getting infected," Chuma frowned as Akumu frowned. He knew that the scar was atrocious and he couldn't do anything more to help as it would not fade nor heal.

"It's alright," Akumu spoke softly, "I knew that the blast would result in some reminder or scar. The Thunderbird predicted as much," Kur and Chuma froze. Lenix predicted everything but due to how fate and the future could be so cruel Lenix can't disclose too much that is involved only warn of what is to happen. "You must be wary of your friend who scampered ahead, do not fret over my recovery. I am in good shape all thanks to your support and I'll remember this for the rest of my existence." Akumu gave a small bow before turning and walking slowly away.

"We should go to our room and grab our things since I brought my aid kit in case but seeing how Akumu is," Chuma paused to see Kur move away and look out the debris. "Kur... What's wrong?"

"What does a Blackhole mean Chuma?" Chuma tensed as Kur asked straight to the point, "You tensed the same way when Akumu called me a Blackhole... do you know what that means, Chuma?" Chuma sighed, he knew that it'll eventually come up but he didn't expect that it would be this early on.

"I could never lie to you Kur, nor truly ever evade your curious nature however, I feel that once I explain it to you that everything you built up your confidence and self-esteem will wilt away," Chuma sighed, "I want you to not to be offended or believe that it's your fault... You have been growing since I first met you when we visited Velacera for the first time. From being very quiet and always seemingly staring in the distance in sorrow. But now you are actively talking and interacting with others. I'm not 100% sure if I truly understand what Akumu means either. It's conflicting but when I am sure about what it truly means then I'll tell you my thoughts... Alright, Kur?" Chuma sucked in, waiting on bated breath as Kur turned around and nodded.

"I trust your judgments Chuma," Kur gave a long sigh, "besides Velacera has always trusted you and since you're a dear friend I'll do the same... Thank you for all that you do for me and others." Kur placed their hand over the right of their chest and gave a slight nod as in a formal greeting. Chuma gave a small relieved smile before Kur walked up to him, "let's go meet with Emerald then as she might be very concerned by now for our safety." Kur started walking ahead as another greenette ran up, running face-first into Kur.

"Oops," the little one cried out before taking a step back looking up at Kur, "I'm Furea and Lady Akumu said to come to get both of you as they wish to give you something before you left!" The little one's voice was high-pitched and was talking very fast. An energetic type of little one. Chuma and Kur shared a glance before closing their eyes and sighing. Furea grabbed Kur's hand before pulling on their hand in which they didn't budge. Chuma nodded as they began to follow the energetic little one. She leads to another room where Chuma's stuff was already gathered and one more pack was set next to it as well.

"I figured that a few things may need to be necessary for your journey to continue," Akumu stated as they gestured to the extra pack, "as I have stated not too long ago I am forever in your debt for all that you have done today alone... These supplies are not enough to pay for such kindness from a Lich and a Blackhole such as yourselves... I do hope we cross paths again in the near future." Kur and Chuma gave an estranged look before nodding.

Chuma sighed as they walked the stone pathway, "it seems odd that we had to be going so soon... Do you not find that strange?"

"It seems that the little ones were nervous after Akumu called me a Blackhole... Whatever this word means for me?" Kur hummed as they looked forward on the path. "But let us not dwell as it seems the path is opening to the town Emerald said she'll meet up with us," Kur pointed ahead as the morning light peeked upon the horizon.

"It's strange that you can't call the light the sun here but it acts like the way if you were standing on Earth," Chuma gave a slight chuckle.

"The light of the Celestial Terrain is the showing of Creator's consciousness and to give balance to show other stars in their solar systems how to act during reach rotation around one's Star," Kur hummed happily thanking that all those years of Burakku bringing those foreign books to them to read and study finally paid off.

"You speak as if you've read about it before, Kur?" Chuma noted as they passed the welcoming sign.

"Yes," Kur answered, "for decades after Burakku came to my star he would travel and bring collections of books for others to read and learn even made me a collection as I would always be curious about what he saw while he was out and about several times a year... Oh, wouldn't it be nice to finally see him once more... I miss him and his crew... I miss my star..." Kur became quiet thinking back to what happened.

"Sorry," Chuma coughed, "I didn't mean to bring up old memories, Kur... Have you thought of what you are going to do after you finally have closure?"

"Well, not a definite outcome but," Kur hummed, folding their arms, "I did promise everyone to return to Makai after the outcomes... Maybe even travel with Burakku to finally see everything or wonder to explore more on my own... I haven't thought about it much... But I am definitely returning to visit everyone in Makai." Kur smiled as they thought happily about spending time with everyone back in Makai.

"You must really love Makai?" Chuma asked and Kur nodded their head. Chuma smiled before sighing, "well I'm sure everyone enjoys your company there though Velacera might become saddened if you travel away again... Considering how he acted when we left Makai a few days ago... Which reminds me I need to show you that communication spell when we rest next."

"Communication spell?" Kur questioned as they walked further into the small port town that was now starting to bustle, "meaning we can contact Velacera next resting period?!" Kur grew excited, unknowingly showing it which in turn made Chuma smile.

"Yes," Chuma gave a chuckle, "I'll start teaching you it once we find a secure location to rest... For more privacy reasons." Chuma hummed a bit relieved that Kur's calm atmosphere had returned. Chuma was becoming worried when Kur's calm nature wasn't in place of the side of them that made them feel so pitiful. "Bright Emerald green hair?" Chuma remarked, "Emerald a bit ahead... Emerald! Over here!" Chuma called out waving as Emerald turned around and ran over.

"Good morning Kur! Chuma!" She yelled as she reached them before stopping, "so how did the encounter go?" Chuma coughed before looking at Kur.

"Everything went well actually beside the star Akumu no-Kage's injuries but it's safe to say our goal is to find Burakku, the Space Pirate demon if we want to get any farther than mere walking distance," Chuma sighed before looking at the bustling market area, "so we have to go down there to see if we can spot them." Chuma pointed to the street vendors chatting away showing many objects. "It can't be as bad as back in Makai's markets, those ended up in fights..." Chuma whispered the last part as only Kur caught on.

Being in Makai for a year Kur had witnessed several of those fights and even had once stepped in to separate the ones fighting. "I remember a few of those fights... They were interesting," Kur hummed before sighing, "Burakku should stand out a bit since their hair is ash white and he always wore a red cape... The deer skull is the most stand-out feature I can remember," Kur looked to the side, "I'm sure we'll run across those features as Akumu did state Burakku is looking for something in particular... When he has a goal nothing can tempt him away from that goal."

"Well then let's go," Emerald spoke with more energy behind her voice as they made it to the market area. Walking around the market area just simply browsing. It seems peaceful in comparison to the markets held in Makai. "So we're looking for a Celestial demon with ash white hair, red cape, and a deer skull on their head... Easy enough to spot," Emerald retracted the information, "but what did the orphanage star tell you that Burakku has a goal in mind?"

"Akumu said that Burakku is looking for particular books where magic tracking spells are the main subject," Chuma said as he looked over to one particular booth to see magic articles laying out, "though I am guessing that it could be one goal in mind to use those books... He may be tired of just wandering around achieving nothing so he is after a faster approach." Chuma shook his head before looking at Kur who was merely staring straight ahead. Kur was fixated on a particular structure. "Kur, what are you looking at?" Chuma asked, worried about how silent Kur had become.

"He's here," Kur stated as they turned their gaze to Chuma, "that ship that's further up by the docks is his ship... I recognize that ship anywhere... He's bound to be close to the docks if it's so clear in view." Kur moved forward without another word, walking with a steady pace to reach the docks. Chuma and Emerald followed close behind as they did not wish to lose sight of Kur since they were speed walking.

Kur was too focused on possibly meeting Burakku again. Catching the sign of ash white hair Kur moved faster before stopping on the wooden deck, "Burakku," Kur spoke softly as the ash-white-haired stopped and turned around. The crimson red eyes along with the scar on their left cheek said it all, "Burakku it really is you..." A moment of silence filled the whole area... Bated breath at most...
