Deliverance of Prophecy
"I'm listening," I spoke firmly as I watched from my preferable vision both Burakku and Seimi looked towards me as I spoke, "if it concerns the safety of my solar system then I welcome you to my star and I am participating in the news you bring here on the sole basis that you risked so much to come here."
I could see the small formation of a relieved smile upon their lips as they nodded their head. They were prepared for the worse which I do not blame them. A wise deity once said it is better to be prepared for failure in case of one plan not succeeding but the other plans you can plan might be a winning battle. "As you wish," I looked towards Burakku as he nodded his head and gestured towards the waning benches I insisted on them keeping due to many of those who come to reside here have either lost someone or something dear and just need condolences before they are stable enough to stay.
If they really risked everything then I will hear them out. Maybe my own uneasiness will settle as well with hearing another perspective on such things. As Lenix sat on the opposing bench and I sat across from them. Both Burakku and Seimi stood to either side nearly observing and listening. They are the two heads of either species which made them important assents to this solar system. They would make preparations if needed to be.
"So shall I start Kur-sama?" Lenix asked as they pulled a few sticks bundled together with a cloth soaked in what I smelt of old bark. They must be carrying sage I have heard that it is used across many faiths which I can see why as I can smell the musty odor and sense a greater deal of spiritual energies. Nodding my head I made the tiny hand gesture to continue. Lenix nodded their head as they lit the end of the sage as it began to burn, filling the room with mediocre fog.
To say that I am not a tad bit interested would be telling a lie. They waved the sage around before laying it against the edge of the bench before placing their hands against their knees in front of them. "Do heed I do not sugar coat many words so if I sound brash I am only speaking the truth that many might not like to hear."
Burakku raised an eyebrow at the statement but said nothing as I nodded my head, "we greatly appreciate your honesty as we look forward and never judge but offer the greatest regard for any unfathom lie or misleading discoveries." Lenix seemed to relax a tad bit as they nodded their head and took a deep breath.
"A solar eclipse ago during the winter solstice, my brethren and I came upon a prophecy that was very troubling and concerned the outcomes of your solar system. The star of Neverland a star that is meant for the dreams of many. It forewarns of a great threat that has started small but is slowly but also rapidly growing. But still falls under the line of not tracking and hunting down the threat to rid of the chaos and damages it'll do. But I fear that it'll be too late if I not forwarn you about the image I saw...... The threat has made a discourse of attacking small asteroids or comets to making their way to destroy their first star. You. Kur-sama since you are the furthers star they have a clear advantage of getting away with murdering a Celestial Star," Lenix gave a concerned frown as they picked up the half-burnt sage before smothering it and letting the smoke slowly slip away.
"How long of a time estimate do you think we have to prepare?" Seimi asked as Lenix looked over to him. Bright amber eyes searched the very blurred teal blue eyes with intensity. It felt very awkward, to say the least. But I knew it was with good intentions.
Lenix shook their head, "I only saw the vision, time nor occurrence was shown to me and my brethren. I only can give a sign to look out for," Lenix turned their focus back to me, "watch the alignment of the milky stream and the turning of the northbound comet as a large ship much larger than the one I came on will board with no greeting or any confirmation that they are friend....... watch for the bright comets to dull they create a barrier to make sure their handy work is not interrupted."
I sat there in pure shock..... this is very dangerous. "Then we will keep an eye out for those signs," Burakku spoke from the side of me, "I will tell my crew on the west side of this solar system to keep a lookout for any suspicious ships or erratic patterns of comets. If anything they will circle for days on end I will also join the ships for a few days to see the progress of security and I will personally bring you back to the docks in case your brethren wish to oppose your decisions of bringing forth this information."
It was very rare that Burakku left on his own crew ships, so this was shocking to hear after so long on not being on a ship for the past decade. He was serious as I looked over towards Burakku and noticed his crimson eyes sharpen gaining a slit edge to them as the outer part of his eyes pinkened. He was angry, his emotions showing very well. He's serious. He sure is scary when angry.
Lenix's eyes seemed to widen when they looked over to Burakku. It is understandable as it is clearly seen from the deer skull that is worn by him that he was a very close resemblance to a deer demon but more twisted. I believe he told me once he was a victim in his past mortal life of an attack by this cannibalistic group known from his past community as the native urban legend as Wendigoes. Though it is unclear why he choose this form to take when he was given his chance to become a demon celestial.
Of course, I am confused as to why that is such a thing. Become that of what killed you in your previous mortal life. Burakku never really specified why he chose the way he became I never really thought of asking. But I am very certain it was for the reason for what he had experienced back in his mortal life. Seimi sighed and nodded his head, "Should I make arrangements for some Lumerians to board another ship to help with the patrols?"
Burakku calmed down immediately as he looked over at Seimi, "I wish that the lumerians not endanger themselves with such things as my demons have managed these ships for decades...... I rather see you lumerians staying with Kur-sama as a last line of defense if my side cannot stop the threat....." Burakku sounded very solemn and grave as he balled up his talons and inhaled deeply through his nose.
He was angry but was trying to remain calm and be in control. I have heard stories from his crew of times when he lost his temper before and had shifted into a form that was way scarier than just the pinkening of his eyes. I guess they gave him the nickname of "Shifter for that reason. Senerity did say he hated it at first but got used to it and became sensitized to the name even encouraging it at times. "Are you sure, Burakku?" Seimi asked.
"Yeah my men are able to go further within a shorter time of distance than the older ships that I haven't been able to upgrade..... those are the only spares we have and they are not safe for open-air," Burakku cracked the joints in his talons, "I would very much feel responsible for any harm that comes to anyone on those outdated and dangerously built ships. I will visit the barracks on other solar systems to buy supplies to update the outdated ships for safer use...... but I will try to leave a small emergency cargo ship at the left side bays in case of distress....."
Lenix gave a short nod, "may I give a word of advice?" Burakku and Seimi seemed to look forward to Lenix as they stood up and brushed off the ash from their attire, "make an escape plan and take the step ahead of the situation. Create plans to either hide Kur-sama or a way to keep them protected... This cargo ship sounds like a remote plan of hiding and evacuating however Kur-sama cannot go very far from their star without nearly killing themselves of the pain of distance..... but the outdated ships seem more of a solid hiding spot and where anyone would last look for the Star of the solar system."
"They do have a point Burakku," Seimi piped up as he looked over at Burakku, "by planning ahead we can create strategies to combat the enemy and keep Kur-sama safe and out of enemy reach."
Burakku nodded his head and gave a sigh as he looked over to Lenix, "Thank you for your advice....however it is late in the day and my crew won't head out until the next day we will prepare a room for you to spend your night in if you need anything do not hesitate to call upon any of us or Seimi and I if needed to be." Burakku gave a short bow as he let his shoulders dropped. He had calmed down enough to loosen his stature enough to his eyes showed no more pinkness.
I am worried as I feel like something is not right...........
