A Day of Silence
It was silent. Too silent. "Kur-sama you seem to love falling asleep in the chai gardens a lot lately," I heard the honey-sweet voice call out to me. Opening my eyes I could see the faint silhouette of Kanro standing over me. Focusing on balancing the light I made more features out of Kanro and seeing how Yudokuna was with her as well.
"Greetings," I spoke softly as I sat up from my laying position, "did I interrupt your stroll?" Yudokuna barely looked at me as she shook her head as she attended a rose bush trimming dead branches so new ones could grow back stronger.
"Nay, we came after you had closed your eyes but we were worried for you as you weren't responding for a few minutes after calling your name the first time," Kanro spoke softly as she kneeled in the grass beside me. "Was it another troublesome dream?"
They all knew about my connections as being the Star of Dreams. They knew at times I will be distressed by what I see when some call out for help in their dreams. Everyone here feels it I learned through them asking if I was alright after my many times I have blacked out and not respond until I finish resolving the nightmare. "I suppose it was a nightmare of unknown origins," I sighed as I grasp my two-toned hair between my fingers.
From what many travelers have said to me, that I am about the only star that has two-toned hair, and that it's extremely rare to even come close to a star that takes on the masculine side of the scale of identification. I was very shocked to come across this piece of information. I was aware there are many Star Celestials but unknown that it was rare to see my side of the scale of identifications. "Are you thinking about what that Thunderbird has brought forth?" she smoothly spoke as Yudokuna sat to her side and pulled out a little ring with fabric and string hanging off of it. Embroidery? I remember clearly their father had mentioned how Yudokuna had picked up a hobby of creating designs.
"It has some part but I am more worried about how my solar system is going to take the blow of the information that the Thunderbird has given us," I spoke as I focused my attention on the bright flash of light to my side. Looking over I could see Burakku clashing swords with Seimi. Playing around like a mock battle to ready Seimi for anything that may take place. Sighing I looked towards the right of them to see Lenix observing the mock fight and seeing their lips moving. They must be giving advice.
"Is it the fact of the unknown toppling over the dream world?" I could hear Yudokuna's mint cooling voice sweep across my sensible hearing. "You are unrest cause others fear the unknown from others is overwhelming you and you must be seeing the last memories of those who perish beforehand and most likely didn't make it through those dreams and it's causing you to become unease." Damn those words pierced through me.
Her blunt definitions are quite the earful. She would make quite the tackle planner even though she does not show it just to stay close to protect her sister who is more gullible to the harassment of others. But then again, things will surprise you when you do not expect them. "Sister please it's not that difficult to say something encouraging once in a while," Kanro gave a light-hearted sigh.
"I was only speaking out on what Kur-sama was feeling since a high being like them can have a hard time thinking of burdening their residents with their worries. It's like what happened when father had to leave mother behind due to war and mother was slain in front of us.... father took us here to escape the pain and hatred. Father wanted to go back and get mother to bury her here but by the time he got there, her body was being eaten by disgusting beasts. Father could fathom you seeing mother the way he found her. So he left her there and asked if Kur-sama could perform a sweet dream memorial for us and him. He woke up several times before that screaming and at times I caught him crying. He was afraid of losing us like he lost our mother," Yudokuna didn't look up from what she was doing but I could tell this was hard for her to say.
I looked to the side as I saw Kanro tear up. So my Sweet Dream ritual buried some memories for her but not all for the other but Yudokuna took the information calmer than Kanro at the time. I merely laid a single hand on Kanro's shoulder before she latched onto me and began to sob into the clothes I wore. Yudokuna became wide-eyed as she realized what she said and who heard it.
"Sister I am deeply sorry I-" I raised my hand and shook my hand as I lightly patted Kanro's back and hummed soothingly as I looked back at Yudokuna who for the first time in a long time looked as if tears would fall from her deep purple eyes.
I simply rubbed Kanro's back and watched as Yudokuna's body posture change from unreadable to very emotional. It was clear that she was never meant to say those words to Kanro. Sighing deeply as I rubbed the small part of Kanro's back as she cried. "Now now, Kanro she didn't mean to say those things," I whispered, "at times words will flow like a never-ending river... no beginning nor ending but sometimes at the very most there is a dam that blocks those words from becoming harmful to someone that they love. Unfortunately, this time around the dam busted and let forth those hurtful words. Yudokuna never meant to harm you with her words."
I could feel the little hics of breaths from Kanro as Yudokuna looked down feeling ashamed of what happened. I could not blame either of them as they were young and they have lost more than they should have gained. "What is the matter over here?" I looked up and see that our guest has noticed the commotion as well. They are very observant of their surroundings. "Is there any need for assistance?"
"Nay, it was only a mere mouthful of words that cause such disturbance. Sorry to disturb you, Lenix," I waved my hand towards their approaching figure but they still came, worry written in their expression. Something is bothering our guests that is what I do take notice of, but what can be unsettling them. Are deities very sensitive to strong emotions such as remorse and anger?
"Ah, I see," Lenix's facial expression seemed to soften just a bit before looking over at me, "I feel like there is dread in the air, might it be coming from thy maiden?" Lenix looked over to where Yudokuna was still staring down at her hands.
"I have said a few things that might've gone too far into wounds. Putting salt in the wounds of others was never my intention. I would never dream of doing the sorts to my dear beloved sister. Much less a stranger," Yudokuna spoke lightly but never looked up. Lenix's eyes seemed to soften as well as they sat down with the rest of us.
"It is very understandable to say things out of the whim and at most can be blunt and very harmful to many. But truth or the true meaning behind certain events can be harsh and very wounding words but it takes time to view over the harm and learn to accept the harm and take it as life lessons," Lenix gave a small smile as they pulled a flute from the inner flap of their poncho, " some adapt quicker than others but for some its the fact of healing and looking deeper into one's core."
Lenix positioned the flute closer to their lips and began to blow into the piece that resembles a small hole as they began to play. The soothing melody started to play as Physical notes came from the flute and circled us. Kanro halted her tears while turning towards Lenix. (For reference see the link below)

Soon others began to gather around and listen to the relaxing and peaceful melody Lenix produced through their flute. It did ease my worries and give more of a calming aura to such tense thoughts. It made everything seem very peaceful and nothing was on the line. Closing my eyes as I felt the lull of the energies of the melody brought me to the nulled surroundings as I viewed them change into ones of dancing figures. Strange never before have I have seen this? Is this another dream? But wait, this feels familiar as if I have been in this nulled area before.
My child, it has been so long.
That voice. Creator?! That has to be them.
There is so much to tell but I fear it may be too late to give any information but I promise we will meet in physical conversation. Go my child, wake, and I will see that you will pull through my child.
Wait. What?! Creator?! What do you mean? Please I need answers! But before I knew it I awoke with Kanro and Yudokuna leaning over me, giving me a concerned look. Creator spoke of illness coming my way. Does that mean Lenix's envision is coming soon?
