Garroth's POV

I watched (F/n) play the flute. She played it very beautifully. Animals were on her lap and her (H/c) hair blew in the soft wind. She looks so... Beautiful. Garroth! Not now we need to find Aphmau. She finished her tune and gently pet the animals that lay on her. "This will be my new home. I will protect my mothers relic here", she spoke to her self. Wait a second... Did she say... Her mother's relic? But I thought that the relic was Iren-... Oh... My... Irene... S-she's Irene's d-d-d-d-d-d-d-DAUGHTER?! I HAVE SO MANY QUESTIONS RIGHT NOW. No Garroth you need to take this seriously and calmly. I took a deep breath then started walking towards her.

SNAP

STUPID TWIG!!! She didn't flinch. "Can I help you with something", she asked. How is she so calm. "Um it's m-me G-Garroth. W-what happened to your wings", I asked stupidly. WOW! Smooth Garroth, smooth. "I'm am calm and with nature", she replied still petting the animals and not looking at me. "Are you coming back with me to the village", I questioned. "I just need a little more time to adapt to my surroundings", she stated. "Very well I will see you later then", I said as I ran off. Wow, nice moves Garroth. She will sure trust you and tell you everything about her and her mother, IRENE!!

Your POV

After a few moments to myself I went to go catch up to Garroth. We walked silently side by side until he finally broke that silence. "Y-you play the flute beautifully", he smiled. "T-thanks", I felt my cheeks begin to heat up. WAIT, AM I BLUSHING. "So um, will you tell me about your village", I asked trying to change the subject. "Oh it's beautiful! Everyone there is really friendly you'll fit in nicely", he slightly laughed. "Heh I wish", I sighed. "What do you mean", he asked confused. "As you can tell I am not normal and you may also be able to tell that I'm socially awkward", I gave out a nervous laugh. "Don't worry I'm not very good at socializing either. I either stutter or say something I really shouldn't have", he gave out a nervous laugh too.

After a few minutes of walking down a trail, Garroth stopped and his eyes widened. "(F/n)...", he had fear in his voice. "Yeah", I was confused. "Does time work differently in the Irene dimension", Garroth bit his bottom lip. "Yeah from what I've read a minute in the Irene dimension in a year here", I shrugged. Then I realized what he was staring at. He was staring at a wall that looked very old. "H-how long were we in there for", he stuttered. "I-I think you were in there for about s-sixteen minutes", I stuttered as well. "Oh... My... Irene", we both said at the same time.

"Hey who are y-", someone on the wall called down to us. "G-G-Garroth", the man obviously knew Garroth. He climbed down the wall, opened the gate, and ran to hug Garroth. Garroth hugged him back. He had blue hair and blue eyes. "DANTE! It's great to see you bro", Garroth smiled. "H-how did you get out", Dante questioned. "I had a little help", Garroth looked at me and smiled. I gave a shy smile and a tiny wave to Dante. "B-but h-how", he asked me. Oh Garroth please don't tell him. "Another story for another time", Garroth winked at me and I sighed of relief. "Where's Aph", Garroth quickly asked. "She runs a village on a distant island somewhere", Dante smiled. "WAIT WHAT", Garroth started freaking out. "Garroth calm down. Lucinda made an easy access portal to get there, but you aren't going anywhere until you see everyone here", Dante laughed. "Yeah I wanna see what's been going on in the past sixteen years", Garroth laughed nervously. "I'll find you after my shift bye Garroth. Oh I didn't get your name. "It's (F/n)", I spoke softly. "It's nice to meet you (F/n)", Dante smiled and Garroth and I started to explore the village he called Phoenix Drop.

Hope you all enjoyed!

~Ciao
