As I finish putting my stuff away and sorting out my dorm, I hear a knock on the door. Since the school was werewolf friendly, as it was in the Moon Kingdom, I had my ears out. I was wearing a black tank top and jean shorts, because it was hot outside.

Even though my scars are visible, I wore short sleeves. I don't care about what I look like anymore.

I answer the door, and find the Room Assistant person. She wore a a pretty flowery top, and a somewhat short skirt. She had ears and a tail, though they weren't as long or fluffy as mine.

"Hey! You're Eliana Amaya, right?"

"Yep! That's me!"

"Perfect! I wanted to let you know that your dorm mate will be here soon, either later today or tomorrow! Since the semester starts next week, expect more students to start crowding in."

"Oh, thank you for letting me know!"

I smile, and the RA leaves. I start to sweep around the boxes, but I stop when I find a picture.

It was Grace, Jace, Dusk, Tori, Theo and I before we graduated. Of course, Jace wasn't smiling, but that was normal for him.

I put the picture on my nightstand, and sift through the last box. I find an old dress, some money, an old razor blade, and some old pictures.

I pocket the money, put the dress on my bed, and throw the razor blade into the trash.

I sift through the pictures, finding that they were all of me through different stages of my life. One was in the hospital after my first attempt, which was hanging myself.

Another picture was, again, me in the hospital. This time, it was because I had broken another bone. Technically, it wasn't my fault, but whatever.

I find a picture of me, laying in my bed, just bleeding and crying. This had been a bad day for me, because one of the kids at school had seen my arms, and ran to tell a teacher. I was suspended for emotions I could not control. I had gotten homs, and just went straight to the bathroom, and grabbed an old razor blade. I had cut over old scars, making them deeper.

Back then, all I thought I needed was to die. I thought I needed to be away from this world.

The dress was from my Junior year of High School. It was my Junior prom, and it might have been the best night of my life.

"I really can't go.. All of my clothes are at my house in the Shadow Realm.."

"Well, you have a dress now!"

"What?! No I don--"

Frig snapped his fingers, and a beautiful pitch black and red ombre dress with an A-Line skirt appeared on me. It matched my hair, which was black and red ombre.

I get to the high school, and find Grace sitting down. I walk up to her, and smile.

"Eli! You made it! I was worried you weren't going to show up!"

"I forgot it was today... I thought it was tomorrow.. How long have you been waiting for me?"

"I've been here before it started."

"Oh.. Wanna get some food? I can pay."

"Sure! I haven't eaten since lunch."

"I'll take a pizza and a soda."

"Just a soda, please."

I pay the money, and sit down with Grace. I notice I started to clutch my sleeves, something I do when I'm nervous or afraid. Grace notices, because she says,

"Eli, can I see your arms?"

"Huh? Why..?"

"Because what you're doing reminds me of what Jace went through.."

I look at her, confused.

"Please- just let me see your arm.. I just want to know you're not going through the same thing Jace went through.."

She started to tear up. I reluctantly let her take my arm, and allow her to roll up the sleeve.

"Eli.."

I look away, trying to think of a lie.

I swear it's not what you think... Those are scars from..."

I couldn't think of anything, so I stayed quiet, and looked down.

"Eli.. You know we are here for you... You can trust us... You know that.. Right?"

I start to quietly sob. I stay looking down, as I take my hand back. I pull the sleeve down over my hand, and wipe my eyes.

"Hey.. Let's dance. We don't want Tori and Dusk having all the fun, do we?"
