Hiding

Demonsky's POV:

At least Cass has her memory back. I was surprised that Demonlox didn't call me an idiot... I thought that he didn't want Cass to have her memories back, but I guess that he did care a little bit after all... She let go of me and smiled. I smiled back at Cass. I looked at Demonlox and I think that I saw him smile as well... I'm pretty sure Cass saw it too. Demonlox turned around and walked away. "Hey, where are you going?" I asked. "It doesn't matter... but I'm probably going to stay here for a few more minutes, then I'm going to fly away." Demonlox replied. "That's a first." Cass laughed. Demonlox smiled for a second, then he continued to walk away. "Yeah, I should probably go check on my head... I'm pretty sure I cut it and I REALLY don't want to get shots from that door being so rusty." Cass ran back inside, trying to find a mirror. "Yeah..."

"GOSH DANGIT!" She yelled. "Stupid cuts, shouldn't exist in life." "Yeah... they shouldn't exist." I said. "Gonna loose more bloodflow than I should." She wet her finger with some water and put it on her cut. "Yeah, not going to scream, but, oh I dunno, OW!" "I can heal your cut." I said. "Okay." A silver aura appeared around my hands, then my eyes glowed. I used my power to heal Cass's cut. Then my eyes stopped glowing and the aura disappeared. "So, your cut should be gone, since I healed it." I said. "Thank god. It hurt so badly. Can I just burn that garage door?" "Yes, you can burn the garage door." "Good, because I would've done it anyways." She laughed and kicked the garage door to check how strong it was. Clearly it was pretty old because with one kick it put a huge hole in it. "I wonder how long that garage door has been here..." She continued to kick it until it wasn't even hanging off the wall anymore, it was just pieces of old metal on the floor. "I don't know but whoever owned it needed a new one anyways." "Yeah." "Hmmm, burn or explode? Explode." And she dragged them outside and stuck a thin piece of TNT inside the scraps and lit it. "Now, it'll be like that door never existed." I said with a smile.

"The one special door, with no dream..." She laughed. "Yeah." I said as I laughed for a second. A piece of scrap landed in front of her and she lit it on fire. "Well, now the door is completely gone." I said with a smile. "Yep." She responded with a smile in return. "Well, what do you want to do now?" "I've got two laptops back at my old town, they still work, we could do something off of those." We go and get the laptops and come back. "Alright, Minecraft?" She asked me. "Sure." I replied. "Okay." She signed us in and we got on. "So, what should we do first?" I asked. "I know how to set up LAN so, I guess we could play on one of my old worlds." "Okay." I said.

"Kill that creeper!! I'm trying to build a house and I don't need gunpowder laying around!" She laughed. I laughed. "Okay, I'll kill the creeper." "Okay, WHAT THE NETHER YOU STUPID SKELETON!" She yelled having to stop building the house and kill a skeleton. I smiled for a second. "Well, we should put torches near us, so zombies, skeletons and creepers don't spawn near us." "Well we have no coal AND no wood so I guess i'll go mining." "Okay." "OH CRAP!!! BAD CAVE! VERY BAD CAVE! LIKE MAYBE 15 MONSTER SPAWNERS!" She yelled with a slight laugh. "Wow..."

"Creeper army!" She comes running out of the cave with about 40 creepers following her. "So many creepers... I'm guessing that all of the spawners were creeper spawners." "Not all of them, put your stuff in a chest, as well." She smirked. "Okay." She leads the creepers over to me and they all explode on me only, killing me. "TROLOLOLOL!"

I sighed. "At least, all of my stuff is in a chest." She led all the creepers to the chest and they blew that up too. "Yeah, you jinxed it." She laughed. I sighed. "I really shouldn't have said anything..." She laughed. "You think? Well now I have my own personal TNT for getting minerals! "Why did you lead the creepers over to me anyways?" "It's a creeper army, if YOU were to do anything with it what would you do?" "Uh... I'd probably do the same thing..." "Yeah. OH MY GOD AN ENDIE! I don't love enderman, nah, that's just... okay fine...." "Well, there's nothing wrong with that."

"Well I'm going back in the cave. There was a normal zombie spawner down there so, yeah." "Oh, okay." "Uhhh, am I the only one who saw a flying squid?" "No... I saw it..." "This is worse than the porkchop revolution. Don't even ask..." "Uh... okay." "What the crap, stop with the flying squids!" "We should find out where they're coming from." "There's a waterfall here so they might just be glitching out." "Probably."

"Umm, something blew up the house..." "What? It was probably a creeper or something that blew it up." "Betrayed by my own army..." She laughed. I laughed. "Yeah..." "Gotta COMPLETELY rebuild the house." "Yeah... do you want me to help you rebuild it?" "Nah, I got it. How about you go mining this time." "Okay." "And I'm now out of wood..." "So, do you want me to get more wood?" "Sure, try not to explode though." "Uh, okay..."

"What's Demonlox doing, anyway?" "I don't know." "HEY, DERREK! WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!" "DON'T CALL ME DERREK!" "NOT ARGUING WITH YOU RIGHT NOW!" "I DON'T CARE!" "WHAT ARE YOU DOING THEN?!" "YOU DON'T NEED TO KNOW!" "JUST CHECKING, JESUS!" "OKAY..."

"How was he not dead sooner?" Cass asked me. "I don't know." I responded. "Probably because I was most likely the first person to figure out how to kill him..." "Yeah..."

She turned off the laptop and walked into the room Demonlox was in. "What are you doing?" "Nothing." Demonlox said. "You're doing SOMETHING." "Like I said, you don't need to know." Demonlox said. "Hey, why is your scythe there?" I asked. "No reason..." Demonlox replied as his scythe disappeared. Cass facepalmed. "If you were trying to kill one of us AGAIN!!!!!!!!" "Well, I wasn't trying to kill you or Demonsky." Demonlox said. "Oh.... who were you trying to kill then?" "No one." "Then why was your scythe out?" She began to give him the look. "You don't need to know why..." "Then tell me why you were talking to zombies." "Like I said, it wasn't that important. So, I'm not going to tell you about that either." "Then tell me why you had your scythe out. It's either zombies or scythe." "I'm not going to tell you anything..."   "I can use magic to get them both out of you." "Who cares?!" Demonlox asked as he began to fly upwards. "I still have the trick i can use!" She began turning through her spell book. "No... I'm not letting you use that trick on me again!" Demonlox said as he continued to fly upwards. "Keep flying upwards and I will." She began to float off the ground. "Why?" Demonlox asked. "Ugh, I don't know, STUPID STINKING DESBRINE!" "Well, I'm still not going to tell you why I had my scythe out and why I was talking to zombies." She used the spell on him. "WHY DID I JUST DO THAT?!" "Okay, I'll tell you why I had my scythe out. It's because I was making the scythe's blade sharper, so it would be easier to kill people with it... WHY DID I JUST TELL YOU THAT?!" "Crap, oh crap of the nether!" She tried to find the reverse spell in the spell book. "So, now I'll tell you why I was talking to zombies."

"I am an idiot, i am an idiot, nope, im a MORON!" "Just use the trick on him, so you can find a way to reverse the spell, before he says something that he really doesn't want to say..." I said. "I still want to know what he was doing with the zombies then i'll erase his memory of telling me." "Okay." I said. "So, as I was saying... I was talking with zombies, because, for some reason, they thought that I had something that they wanted. I don't know why they thought that, but I think that it had to do with that crystal that I was trapped in. Also, yes, I was in a crystal as well, I broke out after a few minutes and that's how I met Demonsky." Demonlox said. "Oh, well that was lame."  She erased his memory of telling her and then made it like he just woke up. "What happened?" Demonlox asked. "Oh, you uhh, passed out..." "Did you use that trick on me again or something?" Demonlox asked. "Nope." Cass responded. "Okay..." "Oh crap, gotta close the spell book before he sees..." She whispered to herself. "Wait... is that the spell book? WHAT DID YOU DO TO ME?" Demonlox asked. "Nothing, NOTHING!" She shut the spell book and took out the bookmark. "One day, I'll find out what you did to me..." "No, you really won't." Her eyes flashed white for a second. Demonlox flew upwards. "What are you doing, Demonlox?" I asked. Demonlox sighed. "You're still an idiot, Demonsky." Demonlox said. Cass dropped the spell book and the bookmark somehow appeared where it was before she took it out. Demonlox flew downwards and picked up the spell book. "Now, let's see what you did to me.."  Cass just ran, knowing she would probably die again. Demonlox dropped the spell book. He summoned his scythe. "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU!" Demonlox yelled.

Cass sighed and ran through where the garage door used to be, reaching outside. "I honestly don't know how to respond to this..." "I'M GOING TO KILL YOU, CASS!" Demonlox yelled. "The lights of the town are shining, With a chilly pain like ether anesthetic, unable to sleep at 2am, Everything is changing so fast, If everything is such a lie, then it really would be better, I dreamed, with full eyes of tears. I want to dive into, a nuclear reactor, Surrounded by beautiful blue light." she sung, trying to catch her breath. "Call me Destiney!" She smiled and kept running. "Fine..." Demonlox said. She turned to face Demonlox and then turned back around and continued running. "You know that Demonsky has the spell book, right?" Demonlox asked. "He's back at the old house, I don't think he can really do anything to us..."

"When I am all but forgotten

I'll have no soul or anything left

I can see into the inevitable result

End of the world...Isn't it a bit sad

that nothing will remain?

Everything but the voice's memory will fade

Leaving only a name behind" Cass sang again. Those words were always her favorite, and I guess that she'll NEVER forget them.

I'M STILL GOING TO KILL YOU." Demonlox yelled. Cass just nodded and continued running. "When I'm all but forgotten... Everything but the voice's memory will fade... leaving only a name behind... if everything is such a lie.... kokoro..." She put together lines of three different songs, still running, yet with a smile. Demonlox flew after Cass. His eyes were glowing blood red. She broke a window from an old building and hid inside. "Will I lose my kokoro? Will I go insane? Will I lose everything? Will I die off like I never existed? I guess.... i'll never know..." "I know you're in there, Cass..." Demonlox said. She found a hidden basement and just sat in there. "Cass... stop hiding... you know that I'm going to find you..." "I want... a better life.... not this..." She said to herself. Demonlox's scythe disappeared. "I give up... I won't kill you." "Demonsky didn't do anything... right?" she asked popping up from the secret basement. "No, he didn't..." Demonlox said. "That's a first..." She rolled her eyes. Demonlox stretched his wings, prepared to fly away. "Well, I'm probably going to leave..." "Okay..." She climbed out of the basement.

"Singing used to be

Such a fun time for me

But now, why is it that

I can no longer feel anything?" She quietly sang.

"Do you want me to check if Demonsky did anything?" Cass asked. "Yes..." "Alright." She cast the reverse spell and smiled a bit, hoping that it was just Demonsky messing with the spell book again. Demonlox's eyes faintly glowed. "Yeah... he probably messed around with the spell book." Demonlox said. "Thought so..." She smiled a bit. "He's probably messing around with it right now. He's an idiot..." "No kidding..." "Yeah... he wasn't like that when I met him, he just somehow became an idiot." "Learning backwards." She laughed. Demonlox laughed. "Yeah..." "How is it that I used the reverse spell and you're still like this?" "I don't know..." She used the reverse spell one more time to check. Demonlox looked outside and he saw someone... "DEMONSKY, I KNOW THAT YOU'RE OUT THERE!" Demonlox yelled. "Hehe... you didn't notice me until now?" I asked. "I hate you... I want to kill you again!" Demonlox said. "Nope, nope, not happening! It's either me or no one." Cass bravely walked in front of Demonlox. "What? So, I can't kill Demonsky, only you? I don't want to kill you, I want to kill that stupid demon!" Demonlox said. "I'm not stupid..." I said. "SHUT UP!" Demonlox yelled. "Ey! I'm STILL a demon, I just don't use the form, thank you very much!" She yelled. "Yeah, I know, but I just want to kill Demonsky." Demonlox said. "You already have once and it takes up too much magic to use the memory spell again, so, only me." "Fine... then, I'm killing no one... for now." Demonlox said. "Wow." "That's surprising... you don't really act like this, Demonlox." I said. "YEAH, BUT IT'S BECAUSE I CAN'T KILL YOU!" Demonlox yelled. Cass just sighed. "Why can't Minecon come sooner so I can just leave somewhere and not deal with you two?" "Well, if you want, we can just leave and never come back." Demonlox said. She just gave him the look. "So, I guess that Demonsky and I aren't leaving..." Demonlox said. "I didn't say that." "No, he was saying that if you wanted us to leave, we could just leave and never come back, but because of the look that you gave him, he said that we're not going to leave." I said.

"Wow, that's like one of the first smart things you've said." She laughed. I smiled. "See, I'm not an idiot!" I said. She just smiled at me. "Well, I guess that you're a little bit smart, but you're still an idiot." Demonlox said. "I'm not an idiot!" I said. Cass kept laughing. "Do you really think that I'm an idiot?" I asked. "Yes." Demonlox said. "Well, you're wrong. You're the reason why I'm always called an idiot now, Demonlox!" I said. Cass was just sitting on the floor watching SkyDoesMinecraft on her phone. "Yeah, so, I don't care." Demonlox said. "You know what? I'm not going to argue with you..." I said. I was pretty sure Cass was cussing in a whisper. "Well, you're an idiot, okay?" Demonlox asked. "Shut up, Derrek." I said. "Do you want me to use my trick on you two?!" Cass yelled at them. "No..." I said. "I really don't care." Demonlox said. "Okay then." And Cass used the trick on Demonlox and dragged him inside by the feet. "Well, at least I don't have to hear him call me an idiot... for now." I said. "I'm waking him up when I get him inside so... hide in the basement or something." "Okay." I said. Once we were inside,  I hid in the basement, so Demonlox doesn't keep calling me an idiot and so he doesn't try to kill me. Cass woke him up and ran, he was probably gonna be really mad at her.... "Cass? Demonsky? Well, I really don't care..." Demonlox said as he summoned his scythe. Cass poked her head out of where she was hiding and she isn't a very good hider so she got caught... Demonlox's scythe disappeared. "So that's where you were... I'm not going to kill you, but, tell me where Demonsky is..." Demonlox said. "Now why would I do that?" She smirked, holding her spell book. "Well, I want to find him, so, tell me where he is!" Demonlox said. "Nope." She opened up her spell book and turned the pages. "Hey... what are you doing?" Demonlox asked.

She only smirked and cast a spell on Demonlox, a personality changer on him, the same one as Demonsky's.

Cass smirked and then shook her head in shock. "Why did I cast that spell?! Ugh, my witch side must want more control..."

I thought that it was okay, so I came out of the basement. Soon after, I saw Demonlox... "Demonlox?!" I asked. "Oh, hello, Demonsky!" Demonlox said. "Uh... are you okay? You're acting a little bit weird." I said. "Weird? I always acted like this." Demonlox said. "Wait... you don't want to kill me or anything?" I asked. "No, why would I kill you? I'm like you, I don't really kill anyone." Demonlox replied. Cass whispered to me what might have happened. "What?! So, now, his personality has changed... there's a way to change it back, right?" I asked. "I'm not sure. I wasn't controlling when i did it, and don't even ask how." She looked for the reverse and used it on Demonlox. "Yeah, we should BOTH hide in the basement now!" "What if it didn't work? What if his personality stays like that, but it's only temporary?" I asked. "I'll use it one more time, it would only take two at it's max." And she used the reverse. "Hopefully, it worked..." I said. "Well I'm gonna hide in case it did..." She ran into the basement. "Yeah... I'm going to hide as well." I said as I ran into the basement. "Okay, be as quiet as possible." She whispered. "Okay." I whispered.

We heard footsteps from above us. It was Demonlox... if it wasn't him, then who would it be? I hoped that his personality was back to normal, even if he tried to kill us, I probably wouldn't be able to get used to Demonlox, with a different personality. "Oh crap! I left my spell book open on the floor out there!" Cass yelled/whispered. "If Demonlox's personality isn't back to normal... he's probably going to mess around with some of the spells... like I did..." I whispered. "Nah, he's normal, I can sense his rage from here." She whispered. "Yeah..." I whispered. "How has he not found us? He's not that stupid." Cass whispered. "Maybe he doesn't know where the basement is?" I whispered. "I don't even hear him anymore..." "He's probably trying to trick us..." "I'll check and you stay down here." Cass poked out of the basement door then climbed out, hiding in the best spots she could. I waited for Cass to come back...

"Okayyy, where would Demonlox be hiding if he were trying to get us off guard?" She whispered to herself. "I just need to wait for them... where are they anyways?" Demonlox said to himself. "Okay, i've gotta make it through the hallway, into all the rooms and find out where he is..." Cass said to herself. "Is there a basement in this house? Yeah... there has to be one, but where is it? They must be hiding in the basement, right?" Demonlox said to himself. "Ohh shoot, there he is. Umm, I need a way back to the basement... okay, i can sneak from room to room and make it there." Cass snuck around and successfully made it. "Did you find Demonlox?" I whispered. "Yeah, he's trying to find the basement. He is trying to find us..." Cass whispered back. "He's probably going to find us soon..." I whispered. "Yeah, and I forgot to grab my spell book AGAIN..." "Really?" "Yep..." And right after that sentence I heard footsteps approaching the basement door. "He finally found the basement..." I whispered. "Get in the corner, it's darker there." Cass whispered quietly moving to the dark corner. I moved over to the dark corner, that's when the basement door opened...

Demonlox opened the door. "So, I finally found the basement... where are Demonsky and Cass? They're in here somewhere." Demonlox said. Cass leaned against the wall, being as quiet as she could. "Hmm... I can't find them, but I know that they're in here..." Demonlox said. I could see Cass using sign language to say Crap over and over. "Where are they? Well... I'll keep looking until I find them in here..." Demonlox said. Cass used sign language to say crap faster. Dang that girl was scared. Demonlox summoned his scythe. "Hey, Demonsky and Cass! I'm not going to leave until I find you two!" Demonlox yelled. Now Cass was shouting Nether in sign language. How does she know these things?! Demonlox's eyes began to faintly glow... I could slightly see them in the dark... now she was shouting Oh Crap Of The Nether in sign language. I REALLY question that girl. I saw that Demonlox's eyes glowed blood red... now I could see them clearly in the dark... I wish that he would leave... Cass put one hand covering her eyes and she started cussing in sign language. "Well, I guess that I'll leave... for now..." Demonlox said as his eyes stopped glowing. Cass moved her first finger up so she could see. Could he see us? "Also, just be glad that I let you two live... when my eyes glowed, I saw you two." Demonlox said. " Okay, what is up with you? You come try to find us, then you decide not to kill us? " Cass asked. "I said that I'd let you two live for now, unless I change my mind. I have my scythe with me, I could kill you two right now!" Demonlox said with a smile.

Cass was frozen in fear. She usually wasn't like this. She kept saying crap in sign language. "Well, do you two want to die right now or not?" Demonlox asked. "No, we don't want to die." I replied. "Hehe... okay, I'll let you two live for one more hour..." Demonlox said with a slight smile. "One more HOUR?!" Cass started screaming in her hands. "Yeah... I wasn't going to let you two live, but I decided to let you two live for one more hour." Demonlox said. Cass kept screaming in her hands. Since when does she act like this? Demonlox opened the basement door, then he walked away. "Cass... we can escape..." I said. "How?! Every time we leave he finds us! We're gonna die, we are BOTH gonna die..." That's why. "I'll fight him... then, we can escape..." "No, I'll fight Demonlox, I don't care about what happens... I'm going to try to kill him."

"My farewell song at the highest speed:

The perfect world that I believed in

is just an endless reflection inside a mirror

I'll give up singing and scream in pain instead, This is where we must part

My memories disappears into thin air

Reduced into 1s and 0s

The curtain to my story is falling, When I am all but forgotten

I'll have no soul or anything left

I can see into the inevitable result

End of the world... " She sang. She was pretty upset.

"If you're gonna kill him, use these." She handed me about five daggers.

"Okay." "Go ahead, just please, promise me you won't die." She looked up at me. I smiled. "I promise..." "Thank you." she smiled. I walked out of the basement, trying to find Demonlox. After a minute, I finally found him. "Demonlox!" I yelled. "What do you want?" Demonlox asked. "I want to fight you..." I said. "Oh... okay." Demonlox said. I charged at Demonlox, then I pushed him down, stabbing the daggers into his arms. "So, you're going to kill me?" Demonlox asked. "Yes..." I said. Cass fell to the floor in the basement, crying.

"This should've NEVER happened! IF I JUST NEVER FLIPPING EXISTED!" She yelled.

I heard Cass say that... that wasn't true... this didn't happen because of her.

"The deep-sea girl, sinking willfully,

Red-cheeked in the midst of darkness

But the deep-sea girl, who would bare her heart...

The black sea would still not allow her the courage...Sunk into a sea of grief, it's a bother to even open my eyes

And thus I'll be, endlessly falling - but won't anyone find me?" She sang, calming herself down.

"This actually hurts..." Demonlox said. "Yeah, it should..." I said. Cass climbed out of the basement and secretly watched.

"Why don't you just pull these daggers out of my arms?" Demonlox asked. "Well, it's because your wounds will heal, if I pull the daggers out." I replied. Cass silently cried as she watched. "I have to hide it longer. Normal me will have to wait..." She said in a very quiet whisper. I pulled the daggers out of Demonlox's arms. You could tell that he was in pain, even though he pretended that he wasn't in pain. "Don't try to kill us or I'll actually kill you, Demonlox." I said. Cass ran back into the basement before I could see her. "No one has to see the real me, not now, not anytime soon."

I walked back to the basement. "So, I didn't kill Demonlox, but he isn't going to kill us in an hour." She looked at me but didn't smile or anything like that. She kept crying. "Hey, what's wrong?" "N..nothing..." she stuttered. "I know that there's something wrong..." Her hair started to get turquoise tips. "Nothing!" "Why are the tips of your hair turning turquoise?" "I...I... ummm..." She was frozen. I smiled. "You can tell me..." "Having my powers, it kind of does things... with me being Destiney, my hair turns to this and my powers getting stronger..." "Oh." "That's why Demonlox's personality got changed by me, it's just my powers getting out of control." "That explains it." "Yeah..." I smiled. "Well, it's okay." Cass's hair was now black with turquoise streaks. "Ugh, why does the universe hate me?!" "The universe doesn't hate you." "Then explain this..." She held a bit of her hair up. "The turquoise streaks?" "The color change." She put her hair down. "Oh... uh... I guess that the universe does hate you." "Yeah, you think?" She got up and climbed out of the basement. "So, is there anyway to get rid of the color change?" " Not that I know of" "Oh, okay." "What's going on with Demonlox? Do you think he's dead or something?" "I don't know..." "Well we should probably check on him." "Well then, let's go!" We started walking over. "What are you going to do? Actually kill me this time?" Demonlox asked. "No, we were just checking on you." I said. Cass flipped her hood up hoping Demonlox wouldn't notice the color change. "Just leave me alone... I'm in a lot of pain..." Demonlox said. Cass looked over to me. "You know I want to." "Yeah..." "Can I?" She asked me. "Sure..."

"Thank you." She smiled and pulled out her spell book and healed Demonlox. "Why did you heal me?" Demonlox asked. "Because I don't want you dead." Cass responded with a smile. "Well... thank you for healing me..." Cass put her hood down, not caring anymore. "Why does your hair have turquoise streaks in it?" Demonlox asked. "Magic stuff..." Cass responded. "Oh, that explains it." "That's how.... you know what, I don't want you to know WHAT but, that's how all the spells kept going out of control." "Oh..." "You REALLY don't want to know what..." Cass flipped her hood back up. "Why?" Demonlox asked. "I know you." She gave Demonlox the 'I would probably be dead in 10 seconds if I told you' look. "Okay..." Demonlox said. Cass kicked the spell book behind her. "At least, she healed you, Derre- I mean, Demonlox." I said. "You were so close to saying my real name... but, I'm not going to argue with you, Demonsky." Demonlox said. Cass just laughed. "Demonlox, you're okay with me saying your real name?" I asked. "No, it's just that I'm not going to argue with you, like I said." Demonlox replied. "Thank God, no one calls me by my real name." Cass said closing the basement. "I think that it's probably because we always say 'Cass', so we like saying that name instead." I said. "Thank God." She laughed. I smiled at Cass and she returned the favor.
