(The next day)

Sapphire was sleeping in today as she didnt have school and Nighttime was sitting on the couch watching the news. He had some cereal in front of him as he could eat human food, but needs to feed off of fear from children to stay on earth.

He didn't want to go back down to hell as he's grown fond of earth along with Sapphire and her father. The two of them were quiet and he liked that as his old pack was too loud and invasive of his privacy. Soon Sapphire came down stairs and got out some frozen pancakes and warmed them up in the microwave.

"Hey Sapphire, how'd you sleep?" Nighttime asked.

"I slept like a rock last night." Sapphire explained.

"Good to know I scared a child last night and fed off their fear so I'll be good for another month before I have to do it again." Nighttime explained.

"Good I don't want you going back down to hell. I like having you here, you're a good friend Nighttime." Sapphire said.

"Thanks Sapphire, you're a good kid. I'm glad I decided to stay when I came here." Nighttime said before eating some more cereal.\

"Yeah at first you came here to feed off my fear, but when you realized that both me and dad were demons you decided to stay with us." Sapphire recalled when she first met Nighttime.

(Down in hell)

A female gremlin was picking at the dirt with her claws board out of her mind.

"Hey Nighty-Night you wanna join us in our card game?" A Gremlin asked.

"No ugh I want to go up to earth I'm sick of this place." Nighty-Night explained.

"You know that you can go up to earth, but you need to scare a child once a month if you want to stay up there, and that's harder than you think." The gremlin explained.

"Yeah but Nighttime has been up there for years so if he can do it then so can I." Nighty-Night explained.

"Okay, but that's only because he's also bound to a human demon hybrid and that girl's father made him his gremlin pet. So he helps Nighttime stay on earth." Another gremlin explained.

"Still I'm going to try, I can't take it anymore!" Nighty-Night exclaimed angrily before storming off to the gateway to earth.

(Back on earth with Oliver)

Oliver was at the police station waiting for his aunt, as his mothers body was found. Since his aunt was his only living relative she was going to take care of him from now on. So he sat there waiting for his aunt to come and take him to her apartment.

He only met his aunt at his grandparents funeral and she was rather nice to him. She had also told him that she couldn't have her own children due to infertility and his mother made fun of her for that. Oliver was able to find out through the internet that his aunt owned the bakery that was on the first floor there.

'Hmm maybe I can get Sapphire to start sowing up there so I can talk to her more.' Oliver thought to himself.

Soon his aunt arrived at the police station with a man and she asked about Oliver.

"Miss relax, your nephew is in the waiting room." An officer reassured Oliver's aunt.

"Oh thank goodness, come on dear let's go see Oliver." Oliver's aunt said to the man.

"Okay honey let's go see how he's doing. Even if your sister wasn't the best person in the world I think Oliver still might be in shock from his mothers sudden passing." The man said as the two went into the waiting room.

They saw that Oliver was sitting at a seat with some coffee in his hands.

"Hey Ollie, long time no see." Oliver's aunt said.

Oliver looked up and saw his aunt with the man. "Um Aunt Mollie, who's this?" Oliver asked.

"Oh right Oliver this is my husband, your uncle and his name is Mitch. We meet at a match making party and like me he's infertal so we connected over that kind of issue." Mollie explained.

"Oh well nice to meet you uncle Mitch." Oliver greeted politely.

"Nice to meet you as well, and I know you must be going thru a rough patch right now with your mothers sudden death, but don't worry I'm going to help raise you as my own son." Mitch explained.

"Thanks uncle Mitch." Oliver said with a smile on his face.

"Well then you wanna get your stuff from your house and settle in your new room?" Mollie asked.

"Yeah I would like that." Oliver said.

The three then left the police station and went to Oliver's house to pack up his stuff. Oliver thankfully wouldn't have to worry about his aunt and uncle seeing all the photos of Sapphire as he already packed them in a duffle bag along with his weapons and disguise.

So when his aunt and uncle went into his room they just saw that it was a normal room and nothing showing that he was a stalker or a yandere. Even if he had to be extra careful now that he'll be living with his aunt and uncle, it'll be worth it if it means he'll stay with his Sapphire.

So Oliver packed up his things with his aunt and uncle before leaving the house and all the bad memories he had there behind.

(With Sapphire)

Sapphire had finished breakfast and was getting ready to head out for the day to see her friends and stop by her favorite coffee shop.

"Hey Sapphire, can I come with you this time?" Nighttime asked.

"Sure, but you're going into my bag this time. I don't like your claws digging into my shoulders." Sapphire stated.

"Fare enough with me just as long as I can get some human food and get out of this house things get boring here so fast without you guys here." Nighttime said.

"Okay then I'll just go get my bag and we'll head off to enjoy our day." Sapphire said then went up to her room and got her bag along with her wallet.

She then went back down stairs and let Nighttime in her bag before putting her eyepatch on and heading out to see her friends.

(Sometime later)

Sapphire was sitting in Taylor's house enjoying some tea with Taylor's mother.

"It's so nice to see you again Sapphire, it's been so long." Taylor's mom said.

"Thanks, it's nice to see you all again as well. I've missed you guys and Taylor." Sapphire said.

"Thanks Sapphire, *sigh* I'm just glad dad got a permanent job here so that we won't have to move anymore." Taylor said.

"Yeah now we can make up for lost time." Sapphire said.

"Hey Sapphire, would Nighttime like some food before you leave. I've made too much monkey bread for us so I was wondering if he'd like to have some." Taylors mother offered.

"Oh yes I would like to have some!" Nighttime said as he poked his head out of Sapphire's bag.

"Well that's great. I'll go get it, you two just wait for me." Taylor's mom said and left.

"So Sapphire, how are your other friends doing?" Taylor asked.

"Well Shara's recovering from her illness, Ben is still grieving the passing of his great grandfather, and Charles said that his leg itches like hell but he's just hoping to go back to school soon to see Bethany." Sapphire explained.

"Well I can't wait to meet them. They sound like cool people. By the way, do they know?" Taylor asked.

"Know what?" Sapphire asked back, curious by what Taylor meant.

"You know your." Taylor then pointed to her left eye meaning she was asking if Sapphire's friends knew about her demon half.

"N-no they don't know and I don't want them to know cause I don't want to hurt them when I turn." Sapphire explained.

"Sapphire, I know you're scared, but your friends might be the key to helping you control your powers." Taylor explained.

"Why do you say that?" Sapphire asked.

"Well they might be able to get through to you when you turn and wake you up from the demon." Taylor suggested.

"Maybe, but I can't take the risk. I don't want to hurt them and make them scared of me." Sapphire said while putting her hand on her left eye.

"Just think about what I said, who knows your friends might surprise you." Taylor said.

Sapphire just nodded and finished her tea before Taylor's mother came in with the monkey bread and gave it to Nighttime who ate it in Sapphire's bag. Sapphire then got up and said her goodbyes and left to go to her favorite coffee shop.

"I hope that Oliver's there." Sapphire said.

"*munch, munch* Why do you say that?" Nighttime asked as he ate the monkey bread.

"Well he's a nice guy and kind of cute, so if that little date he asked me out on is still open I might take it." Sapphire explained.

"Okay, but that boy seems to be a bit possessive of you don't you think?" Nighttime asked.

"Um no not really, and it might just be you Nighttime." Sapphire said.

"Okay, just be careful around that kid." Nighttime said and continued eating the monkey bread.

When Sapphire got to the coffee shop she was surprised to see that Oliver wasn't there. So she went up to one of the baristas and asked where Oliver was.

"Oh he's taking the day off as his mother was found dead in the park. So he's taking the day off and moving in with his aunt and uncle as they're the only relatives he has left." The Barista explained.

"Oh do you know where they are? I want to see Oliver and apologize to him for losing his mother." Sapphire explained.

"Yeah his aunt and Uncle are the owners of Lover Bakery and they live in the apartment that's connected to the bakery." The Barista explained.

"Okay thanks, and I'll take a double chocolate Mochaccino, a white caramel Latte, a caramel coffee, a chocolate cake, and two chocolate jelly filled donuts." Sapphire ordered.

"Okay coming up, and I'm guessing some of that is for Oliver?" The Barista asked.

"Yeah I think he could use some drinks and food after hearing about his mothers passing." Sapphire explained.

"Okay, that's really sweet of you kid." The Barista said and went to make Sapphires order.

Sapphire then sat down at one of the seats that was in front of the counter. However she didn't know that Bethany was watching her and was smiling as she got an idea on how to find out if Sapphire was half demon. So she called up her brother and told him her idea on how to catch Sapphire.

"You want me to do WHAT?!" Bethany's brother asked, surprised.

"Follow Sapphire around and follow her home and catch her using her demonic powers." Bethany said.

"Are you sure that's a good idea? What if I get reported for stalking?" Bethany's brother asked.

"Don't worry Marven you won't if you're smart about it, and be careful of the Axle killer." Bethany warned her brother.

"I will sis." Marven said and hung up the phone.

(Later)

Sapphire was heading to Lovers Bakery to meet up with Oliver and see how he was doing. When she got there she was hit with a wonderful smell of pastries and cakes.

"Wow, that smells amazing." Sapphire was delighted by the wonderful aroma.

She went up to the display case and looked inside to see all the amazing cakes, cookies, and other pastries.

"Hello there miss, is there something you'd like to have?" A woman asked.

"Oh no I just wanted to see if Oliver was here along with his aunt and uncle." Sapphire explained.

"Oh well that's great I'm Oliver's aunt! My name is Mollie and who are you?" Mollie asked.

"I'm Sapphire and I go to the same school that Oliver goes to." Sapphire explained.

"Well it's nice to meet you if you need to find Oliver, he's in his room. I can take you there if you want." Mollie offered.

"Sure I like to see him, and I brought him some coffee." Sapphire said.

"Oh thank you, that's very sweet of you, let's go and see him." Mollie said and led Sapphire to Oliver's new room.

(Meanwhile somewhere else)

Nighty-Night was looking around in the city looking for a human to bound to that will allow her to have a place to stay and find some children to scare and feed off their fear. She also decided that she could offer the human some abilities that her previous owners had.

While she can't use them herself she can pass them onto her new owner till the day they die. She then sniffed around the air and caught a particular scent from a human.

She smelled obsession, love, possessiveness, and something that caught her attention the most: the willingness to kill for the one they love. She followed the scent feeling like that this human will be her new owner till the day death comes for them.

When she found the source of the scent she saw a human boy in his teens with short dark blue hair, fair skin, and brownish red eyes.

"Ah ha my new human owner now I just gotta go in and-" Nighty-Night didn't get to finish what she was saying as a woman came in the room and asked the teen to come out and talk to someone.

The boy nodded his head out and Nighty-Night decided to introduce herself to the boy later when he went back to his room. However the sun was starting to burn her skin so she decided to hide under the boys bed and get some sleep before the sun started doing serious harm to her.

Meanwhile Oliver followed his aunt to the living room and saw Sapphire sitting on the couch with two cups of coffee and some pastries.

"Oh Hey Oliver, I um, brought you some coffee and some donuts." Sapphire said while handing him the coffee and donuts.

"O-Oh thanks, Um what brings you here?" Oliver asked nervously.

"Well I heard about what happened to your mother so I wanted to come by and give my condolences to you." Sapphire explained.

"Oh well thanks Sapphire." Oliver said while rubbing the back of his head and taking a sip from his coffee.

"Aww aren't you two just a cute pair." Mollie said with a smile on her face.

"Um, thanks Mollie." Sapphire said, a bit embarrassed.

"Well I need to go back down stairs and help my husband out with the bakery. You two go on and keep on talking, oh and don't be doing any naughty things.~" Mollie teased before leaving.

Oliver and Sapphire blushed at that and they two laughed nervously.

"Your aunt is quite the joker huh?" Sapphire asked.

"Yeah she is. Anyway thanks for coming here, I need someone to talk to." Oliver said then sat down next to Sapphire.

The two began talking about things that they liked to do and things related to school.

"Um hey Oliver remember when you asked me out on that date?" Sapphire asked.

"Yeah why?" Oliver asked.

"Well I was wondering if you'd like to go to this really nice seafood place with me tomorrow?" Sapphire asked.

"A-are you asking me o-out on a d-date?!" Oliver asked, surprised and shocked.

"Um yeah you're a nice guy and I want to get to know you more." Sapphire explained.

"Oh well yeah I can go out with you tomorrow!" Oliver exclaimed excitedly.

"Okay great so I'll see you when you get off of work?" Sapphire asked.

"Yeah, and hey in the meantime wanna try some of my Aunts and uncle's pastries?" Oliver asked.

"Um sure and I might take some home with me." Sapphire said and went downstairs to the bakery with Oliver.

(A few hours later)

Sapphire was packing up some chocolate chip/M&M's cookies along with some brownies in her bag as it was time for her to go home.

"I enjoyed my time here Oliver and the pastries here were amazing along with the hot chocolate." Sapphire said while smiling.

"Thanks, I'm happy to hear that." Oliver said.

"Yes dear we're glad to have had you here. I hope you come back." Mollie said smiling.

"Yes we're glad our nephew has met someone like you." Mitch said.

"Thank you, I'll definitely come back here tomorrow for some more delicious pastries and I'll even bring my dad when he gets home." Sapphire said.

"Oh that'll be wonderful we would love to have both of you here." Mollie said, delighted to hear that.

Sapphire smiled and left to go home and rest up. Oliver smiled brightly as Sapphire had accepted his offer for a date even if it took longer than he expected, but the wait was worth it. He went back to his room and began writing down entries in his diary.

10:20: Sapphire came to my new home and asked me if we could go to a seafood place she likes.

10:30: She got some hot chocolate on her face and I wiped it off with a napkin.

Oliver continued on writing everything that happened to Sapphire on each ten minute interval while smiling in an obsessive manner.

"Well, well, well looks like someone certainly is obsessed." Oliver heard a female voice say.

When he looked at his bed and saw a strange gremlin-like creature sitting on the end of his bed while its piercing white eyes stared at him. Oliver was so freaked out by this that he screamed and fell off his chair.

"Sorry if I scared you there, but I couldn't help myself, and I see that you have quite the obsession over this girl." Nighty-Night said while looking at the notebook.

"Um, who are you and what are you doing in my room?" Oliver asked, freaked out by this strange creature.

"Oh right I'm Nighty-Night and I'm a gremlin, a demon from hell." Nighty-Night explained.

"Okay, but why are you here?" Oliver asked again.

However before Nighty-Night could answer Oliver heard a knock on his door and his aunt calling out to him.

"Go on, answer the door." Nighty-Night said while gesturing her head towards the door.

Oliver slowly got up and looked at Nighty-Night weirdly before opening his door to see his aunt with some milk and cookies.

"Hey Ollie you alright?" Mollie asked.

"Uh yeah I'm okay just fell off my seat that's all." Oliver explained.

"Why is your room so dark?" Mollie asked while looking into Oliver's room.

Oliver's eyes widened as he looked back and he saw that Nighty-Night was still there in plain sight but Mollie was acting like she wasn't even there.

"Anyway here I brought you some milk and cookies, and if you want any real food there's some leftovers in the fridge for you. Also if you need anything else just come to me and your uncle." Mollie said while handing Oliver the tray which he kindly took.

He then closed the door and sat the tray down on his bed right next to Nighty-Night.

"What a nice woman. *munch* mmh and what delicious cookies." Nighty-Night said as she picked up some more and ate them.

"Hey don't eat all of those Aunt Mollie made them for me, got it?" Oliver asked.

"Yeah, yeah *gulp* Ah, food from the human world is so much better than the food from hell. I just got carried away with the cookies, that's all." Nighty-Night explained.

"Okay, but you still haven't answered my question. Why are you in my room and why are you here?" Oliver asked in a more demanding tone.

"You want to know that? Well then I came to the human realm because I was bored, down in hell. I wanted to come here because I wanted to find a human to become my new master." Nighty-Night explained.

"Wait really? So does that mean I'm your new master now?" Oliver asked.

"If you want to, yes, but if not then I'll go find another human." Nighty-Night explained.

"Well then what's in it for me if I let you live with me?" Oliver asked while crossing his arms and legs.

"Well I can give you some powers that my previous masters had given me once I left." Nighty-Night explained.

"Oh and which one of those powers can you give me?" Oliver asked.

Nighty-Night hummed for a bit before looking at the notebook Oliver was writing in and getting an idea.

"Here I'll give you one now." Nighty-Night said and looked at the notebook again.

Her eyes then turned red for a moment before going back to white. Oliver looked at her confused for a moment before his notebook caught his attention. He wiped around and saw that the notebook was writing itself with all the entries being ten minute intervals about what Sapphire had done and what she's doing now.

"One of my previous masters had the ability to see the future for the one they love. After I left he gave me the ability to pass it on to my next master, so I decided to give it to you, or more so in your notebook. Now you'll know what she's up to all the time and you won't even have to write in it anymore." Nighty-Night explained.

When Oliver saw this he couldn't help but start laughing as this meant he always knew what Sapphire was up to every ten minutes.

"Hehe this is perfect now I'll always know what my beloved Sapphire is up to and I'll be able to protect her more now." Oliver said to himself as he watched the notebook write itself.

"Hehe, so what do you say? Do you want to become my new master?" Nighty-Night asked.

"As long as the powers you give me help me protect Sapphire and make her mine, then yes I want to become your new master." Oliver said looking back at Nighty-Night.

"Alright then it's a deal you become my new master in exchange for you giving me food and shelter." Nighty-Night said.

Oliver nodded his head while smiling psychotically and looking at the notebook.

"By the way, why are you so obsessed over that girl?" Nighty-Night asked.

"Hehe because Sapphire is the only one who has ever made me feel happy and she saved me from suicide.

So I'm going to do whatever it takes to protect her and make her happy and I'll kill anyone who dares tries to take her away from me." Oliver said as his eyes glowed red again.

When Nighty-Night heard this she smiled and clenched her fists together.

'Hehe this is even better than I imagined having a yandere as a master is going to make my time here on earth quite interesting." Nighty-Night thought to herself.
