Later that afternoon (at the hotel)

Lillian was reading with Alastor while sitting comfortably on his lap, looking at the pictures as he read in a calm voice. She lays her head against his chest, feeling happy to be in her dad's arms like always.

"My dear fawn, you seem comfortable sitting like that. Am I that comfortable?" he says as he strokes her hair and ears.

"Yes, Daddy." Lillian says, giggling as he keeps brushing his claws through her hair. He gets up and spins her around. "Daddy." she says, holding onto his jacket. He stops and then walks to the balcony, staring at the red sky. She looks at him, wondering what's wrong.

"It feels like a long time since I came to Hell, and I don't regret ever coming." he says. Lilian felt a little confused about what he said but kept quiet. He looks down, seeing her looking at him. "My dear daughter, if I never came, you wouldn't have been born to your dear mom and me." Alastor says, petting her again, making her cheeks turn pink a little.

Charlie walks in wearing her traditional outfit. "You two seem really comfortable in here." she says.

"Daddy's reading to me." Lillian says, giggling as Alastor holds her closer to him. Charlie wraps her arms around them happily, listening to him hum an old song she's not heard before. They sit down on the couch, feeling calm as he hums more.

When he was finished, he released her, allowing Lillian to slip out of his grip. Charlie giggles, watching as she walks to the balcony, looking at the sky. Charlie snuggles into his chest, feeling his slow heartbeat.

"I'm glad we've made a life together." Charlie says, then looks down, making Alastor curious what she's going to say next.

"I just I've always wanted to get married like my parents, then we'll be like a real family." she
says. Alastor thinks about what she said, knowing she's right.

"If that's what you want, then we'll do it." Alastor says. Charlie wraps her arms around him, excited he agreed.

"I'm so happy, I'm going to let my parents know right now." she says, running to their room with her phone. He grabs a book reading while thinking of the wedding they'll finally have after some time they first talked about it. He looks at his daughter, feeling happy that he has a family like he wanted when he first started dating the dear princess of Hell.

"Simply perfect." he says, reading his book.

Later that day

Alastor sits in his chair, looking through the paperwork, organizing them from most important to not while singing his favorite song. He thinks back to when he was alive remembering his old radio show, thinking how he felt the power he had over his town.

Knock knock

His ears twitch slightly as he turns his head. He slowly opens the door, seeing Charlie waiting with a nervous look on her face, holding a sleeping Lillian. "How can I help you, my dear?" Alastor asks, picking Lillian up.

"I just wanted to be with you." Charlie says. Alastor lets her in closing the door behind him. Charlie looks around, seeing the room clean and organized. She sits in the chair, feeling her worries subsidies as she hears him humming a happy tune, making her almost wanting to hum along with him.

"Umm, so my parents say we should get married in a couple of weeks." Charlie says. Alastor thinks for a while and then agrees, feeling it's for the best. Charlie felt happy as Alastor agreed with the proposal.

"Great, they have everything planned, and all we'll have to do is relax and enjoy ourselves." she says. Alastor relaxes as he holds her hand, kissing her knuckles.

"I'm sure whatever they have planned is going to be great, now let's not delay in do our own planning." Alastor says, sitting her in his lap.

Charlie felt her heart race as she snuggled into his arms. She looks up seeing he's looking somewhere else . She rubs his ears, snapping him back into reality. "Yes, my dear?" Alastor asks.
-
"Hey Al, let's go somewhere romantic just the three of us and be like a normal family," she says. Alastor looks at her thinking the same thing, but he wasn't sure when to do the trip.

"Are you sure dear Charlie, we still have a lot of work on this hotel." Alastor says.

"I'm positive. We just need some time to be like a real family and not worry about the wedding." Charlie says. Alastor agrees with her, but other thoughts go through his mind, making him concerned as well. He looks at her as she looks at him, begging for him to agree.

"We'll go somewhere tomarrow if that's what you want." Alastor says.

"Thank you." Charlie says, wrapping her arms around his waist, making him jump. He wraps his arms around her, feeling happy seeing her smile.

"Tell me dear, where are we going?" Alastor asks. Charlie laughs, hugging him tighter.

"That's a surprise." she says, giving no hint of what she has planned. They sit on the couch cuddling for the rest of the night, feeling excited for the days ahead of them.
