"To slander Him (Holy Spirit) is to slander God." Part 2

We will try to look whether they have Biblical account of their claim. Are those 'denomination' who call the Holy Spirit as just a mere force has enough biblical and historical bases on this? Are the attacks against the Holy Spirit, His majesty, deity, divinity, and Godhood are just modern day attacks or can we trace it way back on the early church? Is the Holy Spirit just a mere force or a Person?

Then if the Holy Spirit is indeed proven biblically and defended historically by our church fathers, can we frankly and boldly declare that those who claim that He (the Holy Spirit) is just a 'force' are heretics and cult? That will be the point of our discussion about the Holy Spirit. We will also discover the true work of the Holy Spirit, and how even in the evangelical circles He is also being abused and grieved.

The point of this argument is for us to understand, though not fully, for no finite can comprehend the fullness of the Infinite, the true nature, work and power of the Holy Spirit. I want to give emphasis on this argument that the Holy Spirit is God, and co-equal, co-existent and co-eternal with the Father and the Son, and as we honor the Son, and the Father, the Spirit also deserves the fullness of our praise and worship.

So now, let us start to dig deep into on 'who' really is the Holy Spirit. On the following chapters, we will discuss the attacks on the person of the Holy Spirit and on how the church fathers (early believers) defended and stand on the truth against the heretical claims that crept in the early church age up until now.
