A New Challenger Has Appeared!

It took nearly a week before I was finally able to make my way off the helicarrier without anyone noticing. Granted, I'm pretty sure Strange knows, but he won't stop me. Even then, he may also be too busy to have noticed the pendant's power disappear from his radius. I smirk slightly while holding the pendant in my hands. Well, there was another possibility...

And that was that my own form of magic worked.

I had created a pendant that was similar in every way, even to the small particles of energon. My fingers sting at the reminder of how I got those shards, but it was worth it. I needed to get off that ship in order for this to work. However, I wasn't dumb enough to not leave a note behind. I know who Pitch was possibly trying to get, but it would come as a shock to him that his plan wasn't going to work exactly. I huff as a cold wind blows by, whipping my hair off my back. I fold my arms across my chest a bit more tightly while staring down at the inactive End Portal. I can feel the suppressed energy running between the frames, calling for the Eye of Ender I held within me.

You heard me right.

The last Eye of Ender is indeed within me.

I feel my eye water, and I quickly reach up to remove the colored contact that covered said eye. It felt so freeing once I removed it. I can feel the power flowing through me as I stand near the portal. I was risking so much just standing here with my eye no longer covered. I close my eyes and take in a deep breath. I could feel the shift in the wind before his voice spoke in my ears.

"You've come a long way from safety, Avia."

I feel his cold hand grab my hair gently and barely graze my neck. I don't move despite the cold, and this only makes Pitch slightly hum to himself. "I see Jack has kept you company, or else you would have flinched away by now-"

"Your plan won't work, Pitch."

I feel his hand stop before moving away. "Oh? And you know what my plan is?" I turn towards him, keeping my arms crossed. I was indeed cold, but I had learned long ago how to hide any weakness. I keep my gaze as a glare and stare straight into the eyes of Pitch. "You are gathering all the villains of nearly every game or television show that has arrived on this planet. It is only obvious you know of someone in Minecraft that is rather strong and has a deep disliking for... good things." His slight smile only confirms my suspicions. He crosses his arms and slightly leans back against his own shadows...

Which is actually a Nightmare.

It's yellow eye opens and glares at me, but it doesn't move. I turn to look at Pitch, and he finally speaks. "Well, you are close. That is part of the plan." He tilts his head, and I can tell exactly which eye he was staring at. It was honestly one of the reasons I had allowed it to be uncovered, and his smirk sends a shiver down my spine. I refuse to show it. However, apparently my refusal was futile, as his smirk becomes a very uncomfortable smile. I can feel something tickling the back of my neck underneath my hair despite the wind still moving it around. Something in my ear buzzes, and I hear a voice echo in it for a moment.

"Avia! Strange picked up activity at the portal that's similar to your energy! Along with Pitch! Please tell me you aren't there right now." I growl, and I can hear Jack shout, "No! We're on our way! Get out of th-" Then the black dust rips out the ear monitor I had kept hidden beneath my hair. I hiss in pain and Pitch eyes it carefully. "However, you did misinterpret one piece of the puzzle." I start to feel my blood run cold, but I hold my ground. He turns to me, then crushes the earpiece. That smug smirk was still stuck on his face, and it only made me feel more uneasy.

He finally speaks, and the words startle me. "The plan was to get you here the entire time. Alone. Away from the others." He stands up straight, the Nightmare moving to stand next to him. I feel my prior confidence start to slip as he nears, and I allow the fear to show on my face. I step back as he steps forward. I feel my feet start to touch the portal frames, their energy reacting to the eye in my skull. I turn slightly, glaring down at the lava pit that was beneath the portal. Despite it not being necessary, it seems to spawn in with the portal every time. I could feel the heat starting to rise as I get closer to the edge of the portal frames, but Pitch wasn't letting up.

Good. Keep moving.

I try to keep myself looking fearful and scared. I try to keep those feelings on the rise, but my sudden thought seems to have made Pitch wary. He stops moving, and I keep myself just on the edge for a moment longer. His face contorts slightly, and he steps back with a snarl. "Though it seems that wasn't just part of my plan, now was it?" I take a few quick, ragged breaths in, then smirk and stand up straight. I put my hands in my pockets with a smile and a shrug. "I don't know, Pitch. This was part of your plan, wasn't it? What seems to be the problem?" His face was one I would treasure forever.

Anger.

I can't help but keep a small smile on my face. I hold one hand out before me, palm up. "I'm sorry, didn't you plan for this? Did I spoil all the fun?" Pitch growls, and I see the Nightmare next to him snarl as well. He slowly stops, then smiles. He straightens and laughs. It wasn't a good laugh, but that stereotypical evil cackle that villains do when they think they have something figured out.

And indeed he thought he did.

"You are very good at the art of bluffing, but even this is taking it too far! You honestly believe he would help you?" I keep eye contact with him and slightly shake my hand. I feel pain in my eye spread to my entire skull until a vwoop echoes in my ears. I stand still, trying my best to ignore the pain as the Eye of Ender appears in my hand. I blink my eye rapidly, feeling my normal vision return slightly. Pitch's expression falters as I hold the eye in my hand. It hovers just above my palm, the particles floating around it and disappearing before they pass my hand.

"Do you honestly believe you know him as well as I do?"

For the first time ever, I see uncertainty pass by Pitch Black's eyes. I move my hand to hold the eye right over the frame on my left. I feel the portal frame pull at the eye, but I hold it for a moment longer. "You see Pitch. I've entered the Minecraft world already." This makes his eyes widen. I can't help but feel mild satisfaction at that. So, I continue. "I've already set up communication links with those within it. I've already spoken with them, and I even know what Jack was trying to tell me just before you took the earwig out." I turn my gaze to behind him, and I see the forest rustle, and not from the wind. "I know you have more of your goons hiding back there because you figured I wouldn't come here completely alone." He glares at me, then slightly shifts his stance.

Suddenly, dozens of Nightmares appear, and a few hostile mobs from Minecraft walkout. Behind them, a few Decepticon drones appear, towering over everything else. Duel monsters suddenly rise up, and I can feel their malicious intent before they even appear directly behind Pitch. The sound of jets echoes overhead, and I know one of them is grand overlord Bucket Head. Crowley appears in a puff of red, and I keep my gaze on Pitch. I feel the wind turn freezing, and I feel my smirk break into a full-blown smile. Snow starts to fall, and I see his bare white feet float down until he is standing next to me.

I turn to Jack, and he gives me a soft smile before turning towards Pitch with a look of hate that could kill. I face Jack as I hear the helicarrier hover into view. Vehicle engines sound from behind, and the shifting of metal takes over. Multiple guns click, and I hear Will speaks as Jack places another earwig in my ear. "We're all here, Avia. This insane plan of your's better work." I smirk. "Glad you got the memo." I hear him grunt in agitation. "We will have a long talk after this, young lady." I can't hold back my chuckle.

Sonic appears on the ground next to the portal, and I hear Tails over the commlink. "Weapons are hot and loaded!" I nod and focus back on Pitch. He growls. "You will not stop this from happening!" I simply stay silent but pray that Castiel hears me. "Let none of our forces attack just yet... I have a... friend joining us." A soothing feeling fills me, and I hear Fury over the link speak. "Stand down. Do not attack yet."

Pitch snarls then steps forward. "If you won't make the first move, then I will!" He forms a massive dark sand pickaxe and charges. Jack steps forward, but I hold a hand out to stop him. With a smirk, I turn my other hand over, dropping the eye down. It clicks into the frame just as Pitch's weapon nears me. The portal hums in power as it suddenly lights up. An explosion of light erupts from the center, and it blasts Pitch away from us. Shadows rise up behind me, but I don't turn to look at them. I know who it is, and I narrow my eyes when Pitch tries once more to attack.

Jack wasn't paying attention this time, and only spots Pitch's scythe-like weapon when it's only inches from my neck. I hear him shout, but I hold no fear. My glare holds the Boogeyman's evenly, and I feel my smile widen at the sound of a metal item slamming against solid sand. When the bright light finally dies down, I see the glow of an enchanted sword on my left. Pitch's eyes widen, and before he can react, his weapon is slammed to the side and a wither skull slams against his chest. He flies backward and skids against the ground. A black and blue-clad female avatar walks forward next to me, and she hefts the sword upon her shoulder. "Ya know, you should have called sooner." She turns to me, an Eye of Ender glowing beneath her brown hair that was covered by a hood. I smile. "If I did, you guys wouldn't have had such an entrance. You know I like those clichés, Aria." She laughs.

On Jack's right, two more characters appear. One was short as feathery, the other was human-like. They were glaring ahead of us, and I smirk. I hear another female voice from next to Aria. "Well, cutting it a bit close still." Clacks echo from behind, followed by vwoops.

"No matter, we are here now."

"Agreed. For once, you are correct, Andrew."

I smile and Pitch grunts. "You were never going to bring him out, were you?" I tilt my head to the side as if confused. "Who are you talking about?" He steps forward, throwing out a hand in irritation. "You know who!" I straighten my head and try to keep myself from a smile as a glow appears behind Pitch.

"Is he talking about me?"

Seeing Pitch whirl around so fast was one of the most entertaining things I had seen in a while. He stutters, and the glowing-eyed Steve skin looks at him carefully. "This is the guy that wants to recruit me?" He asks, gesturing to Pitch. I simply nod and he scoffs. He shakes his head and circles Pitch Black. "Hmm... I see what you mean." I stay silent while Pitch just growls. "You are a villain, correct? You can join us! We will take over everything! We will all rule, be believed in, and never be left behind again!" I see him stop and ponder. One hand on his chin. He rubs it, then looks towards me. I only shrug. I was taking a big risk at this, and I feel Aria stiffen next to me.

His smile surprisingly makes me relax. "You know what? I'm good. Thanks for the offer, but..." His gaze darkens and he brings out his own pickaxe. Lightning slams down in front of him, making Pitch jump back out of the shock zone. Herobrine growls and moves towards us. "You messed with the wrong game." He waves his hand and half the hostile mobs that were around Pitch stiffen. Their eyes redden, and they move to our side. They all turn to face our enemies, and Pitch growls.

"That is the last mistake you will ever make!" Pitch yells and charges forward, and Herobrine laughs. "That's what you think." He charges forward as well, and everyone else joins him. Jack grabs me and lifts me off the ground as the fight slams into the place we had just been standing. I only pray we would get out of here in time, or this plan really wouldn't work.
