My Day Grows Quite Annoying
12/2/29 Dear Dairy,
I went heavy-duty shopping today. Buying almost everything I could afford that I needed, I staggered out of the grocery store with at least ten bags. I sighed and wondered, why did I leave all my stuff in Hawaii? Oh right, because I thought I would have someone to help me out. I growled. Stupid lying fake parents.
Only right then did I realize that I need some kind of job. I only came over here with about $200. Of course, those are American dollars. You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find an ATM in Japan for some reason!
~ Flashback in Present Tense ~
I awaken back to the real world again when a certain boy I still hold a grudge on catches my eye. The one who / stood up for. He couldn't care less about what I did for him. Then there's the sidekick who pushed me down. What are they doing? I wonder. It looks like they're playing... with cards. And WHO is that ghost guy? Of course, my curiosity gets the best of me, and the next thing I know I'm struggling with my bags but manage to get over there.
They appear to be yelling. I catch part of the scream-fest before I get bored.
"I place one card face-down and end my turn! Ray, you're up!"
This is the part where I roll my eyes. This is embarrassingly lame. I almost go over and tear those things on their arms off their arms and yell at them, but for once I catch myself. I start having a silent argument with myself.
Let them have their fun, one side says.
No, they need to know how weird they are looking and acting. The other side fights back.
What are you talking about? Let them do whatever they want! The nice side replies defensively.
Personally, I agree with the nice side. I may as well let them have fun... How they consider it fun, I might never know.
I sigh and attempt to walk away, but the kids finally notice me the run in front of me. "Hey, I know you! You're the girl who called my Emporor's Key a necklace." he pouts, but then asks,"So why are you leaving so soon?"
"That's none of your business." I reply and inch toward the sidewalk, but Yuma doesn't let me.
"Dude! Don't you want to have at least one duel?"
"Not really." I get quite irritated and push him down, stomping off angrily.

Before coming back to the hotel, I decide to calm myself down, heading off to my favorite store, GameStop. The first thing that catches my eye is a used copy of the new Sonic game, Sonic Boom. Well, it isn't brand new, but I haven't played it yet, so... I race over and check the price. Almost 5000 yen. I do some quick mental to math figure out that it costs, about 40 U.S dollars. Amazingly enough ,I dig in my pockets to find... I groan. "39 dollars. JUST ONE MORE!"
"Why do you need one more dollar?" A familiar voice asks from behind me.
I spin around to see... UGH. That obnoxious Tuna kid, or WHATEVER his name is. "What do you want?" I yell.
"I'm looking for new cards." He replies and walks over to a section of the store I never paid much attention to. Loads of cards lined the shelves.
And that was about it. Yet he looked really interested, investigating each and every card.
I shake my head and end up buying the game. (Turns out I did the math wrong and I had just enough money.)
I also buy some ice cream and a new winter hat on my way home. Well, not really buying, more bribing or bartering.
I finally get "home", as I immediately start playing Sonic.
That's how I come to be doing what I'm doing right now. Eating ice cream, playing Sonic, and rocking my new hat while writing this and mentally thinking up plans of revenge on that Tuner jerk.
Hi guys! Sorry about the long chapter, but I had a lot to write. Also, I did a rough estimate about the Japanese to American money. I'm sure I'm wrong.
Well, BAI!
