Hmmm.
1/3/29
Dear Dairy,
So I've been doing a lot of shopping recently. Well, now, I'm baking. All of my food tastes really terrible, so I'm not sure why I still am making so much stuff. It's weird.I think it has something to do wit the fact that Annuniki and I loved cooking, I really have no idea.
But really, I have to stop for multiple reasons. One, I'm running out of space to put everything. Two, I'll never eat any of it so it will just go to waste. Three, I'm running out of ingredients!
Then, I don't know WHERE I got this idea, but maybe I could go sell them... But where?
I just sit on my bed for a while, and at some point I mindlessly stand up, grab some random ingredients, and I mean random, and head downstairs for the dining room. This dining room is awesome. It has all the supplies you would ever need, even a stove and oven, so it's perfect for me.
Heading to to the stove, I grab a pot and place it on the burner. I start heating water and check my phone while I wait for the water to boil. Hmm. Three new texts.
One from the SPCA of Hawaii telling me that they loved having me volunteer and that there's an animal shelter in Japan. They want me to start volunteering there.
The other two, on the other hand, are from my sister, Annunki. The first one says,
Hey Lilith! I feel like it's been FOREVER since I last talked to you. Well, I'm now volunteering for even longer at the shelter. Of course, I don't mind, but it was a bit more fun when you were working here with me. Anyway, please visit soon!
PS. I met these little Corgi puppies who you would really love! Their names are Liza and Tate, and they're simply ADORABLE! I'll send you pictures and videos soon!
The other text is pretty much the same, but with a video of Liza and Tate playing tug-of-war and tumbling over each other. They're adorable!!!
I hear a knock at my door in the middle of the video, then the door creaks open. I throw the first thing I can find on the ground-- my high heel-- and throw it at the door.
"Ow!" a familiar voice exclaims.
I look up to see none other than Micheal Arclight standing in my doorway with a bloody nose. "Oh. My. I'M SO SORRY! Um," I run around my room, looking for a box of tissues and giving them to the poor boy. "Um, sorry." I squeak once everything is calmer and he's sitting on my bed.
"It's okay. You didn't know who was at the door." He replies, staring at his feet.
I chew nervously on a weird concoction of mine-- a candy cane covered in caramel, and in the caramel is chocolate covered blueberries-- not the best combo. I pace the room, occasionally glancing at Micheal until I ask him why he was here in the first place.
"Well, I had to ask you how long you were going to be staying here." He tells me.
I giggle nervously. "Not sure... I have to get a job before I can figure it out."
He nods and walks out of the room.
~*6 Minutes Later*~
"Lilith!!! I think I found a job for you!!!" Micheal yells, busting into my room holding a flyer. "You can work at the nearby Topping My Frogurt! It's near my school so I can---"
"OH MY ARCEUS, THAT'S AMAZING! HOW MUCH DOES IT PAY?" I squeal and give him a signature tackle-hug, throwing him to the ground.
"It says on the flier and who is Arceus?" Micheal thrusts a flier in my hands as I help him up.
"Arceus is a Pokemon god..." I tell him, feeling a bit stupid telling a boy who's most likely older than me that I like a child's video game. "And WOAH THIS PAYS-" I stop to figure out some quick math, "15 BUCKS PER 2 HOURS!!! THANK YOU SO MUCH, MICHEAL!!!" And I run out the door.
"Wait, where are you--- She's gone." Micheal sighs.
~*~*~~*~*~*~*
Yup, that's what happened. So now I have a job at a frozen yogurt place. Probably a really bad mistake on my part... Oh well. I'll make it through.
Sincerely,
The (Hungry) Past
