*percy joins in on the singing humming the parts he didn't know and skipping around behind Leo

Jason: I need my peanut butter jelly sandwitches!!! (Me: is that even how you spell sandwitches)

Frank: *turns into a mouse and squeals running around Jason's feet

Nico: Dun Dun Dun Batman!

Me: Who gave them sugar?

Annabeth, Piper, Hazel, Alyssa: Ooops! *gives me innocent looks*

Me: *shakes my head*

Hazel

I stayed behind with Alyssa as the others went above decks.

I examined her for the first time since I met her.

She had long curly black hair that would probably reach her waist if she took it out of her pony tail. Her eyes were the same sea green as Percy's. Infact, If you were to cut her hair you would have a hard time figuring out who was Alyssa and who was Percy. Well, apart from the fact that Percy was taller than she was.

"So, how old are you?" I asked, breaking the silence that was streatching out between us.

"15. You?"

"Same." I replied.

Pretty soon, we were talking and laughing like we were the best of buds. (Too much time spent with the Seven) Which, I guess would be true now.

She was really easy going and funny, just like Percy actually.

We stopped laughing as we heard the others come down the steps.

In the midst of my friends was...

"Nico!" I screamed giving him a huge hug.

"Woah, sis! Hey, nice to see you too. Just stop crushing me." He said.

I let go of him. "Nico, this is Alyssa Jackson, Percy's sister. Alyssa, this is my brother." I said, introducing the two to each other.

Nico went up to where she was sitting and held out a hand. "Hi. Name's Nico di Angelo. Nice to meet you."

Alyssa shook his hand with her good hand. "Nice to meet you too." She said smiling politely.

Nico smiled back.

"And this is Sadie and Carter." I introduced.

They shook hands with each other as well and Nico said, "Well, we have to talk quite a bit so take a seat everyone." Nico told us and we all made our selves comfortable in the sofas.

"Another era of the seven shall sail,

one life given for the world.

Travelling through the great abyss,

you'll meet up with those you'd call comraids.

Then set sail with the three sets of people,

To defeat the Titan, the Snake and the one whose name should not be mentioned." Nico told us.

The room went quiet and I saw Percy pale. His face turned a shade lighter than Nico.

Annabeth paled as well though not as much as Percy.

"What'd you think it means?" Nico asked.

"Well, line one is obviously the seven of us. Line two..." Annabeth trailed off.

"Does it- does it mean that one of us will sacrifice themselves for the world?" Leo asked, all the cheerfulness drained out of his face.

"Leo, we don't know for sure. It could easily hold some other meaning." Annabeth said hurriedly, glancing at Percy worriedly.

"Yeah, okay. But, what about the third line?" Leo asked.

I had a pretty good idea what it was but I hoped I was wrong.

"Tartarus." Percy said. "The great abyss must mean Tartarus."

"Great more good news." Leo said attempting to improve the mood but failing epically.

"You'll meet up with those you'd call comrades? What could that mean? Does it mean us?" Sadie asked.

"Probably." Carter said.

"Then set sail with three sets of people? Three sets? There's the demigods and the magicians but who's the third set?" Alyssa asked.

This time Nico paled. "Romans?" He guessed though I could tell that he didn't think it was actually Romans. Nico di Angelo was definitely hidding something.

"Could be. But then the last line?" Annabeth asked worriedly. "The Titan is probably Kronos. The snake is...Aponis?"

"Apophis." Carter corrected. "But yeah. Who's the one whose name must not be mentioned then?"

Nico paled again and I had a sneaky suspicion that he knew who this guy was.

"Dunno, but looks like we had two prophecies on our shoulders both of which are bad. Like really bad." Leo said.

"Yeah. I'm- I'll just- I'll just be in my room." Percy said before he walked down the corridor leading off to the right and disappearing out of view.

"Uh- did I do something wrong?" Leo asked.

"No, you didn't Leo. I'll just make sure he's okay." Annabeth said before leaving the mess hall.

"What's up with Percy?" Nico asked.

"I dunno." Alyssa replied hesitantly, staring off at the doorway from which Annabeth just left.

"Well, on that note, I'll be in my room fixing Buford who just broke down a couple days ago." Leo said as he got up to leave.

"I need to call someone." Carter said, getting up and walking to his room with Sadie following him. Pretty soon only me, Alyssa and Nico were left behind in the mess hall.

"So, Nico. Where were you the last few months? I didn't see in ages!" I said.

"Well, I was at this- this school." He replied uneasily and I could've sworn that he added, ",if you could call learning magic attending school, that is..."

What was that about?

"Nico di Angelo going to a school!" I said in mock surprise.

Nico managed a faint smile and Alyssa laughed, but then winced as she moved her shoulder slightly.

Nico eyes widened realising her shoulder wrapped in bandages for the first time. "Whoa! What happened to your shoulder?"

"Empousai." She replied, ",but it's getting better now!" She added hurriedly.

I was pretty sure that it was no where near getting better.

Nico looked at her with pure disbelief until Alyssa changed the subject by saying, "So, uh. What was the name of the school you went to Nico?"

"Um, well. It was called...Hogknocklock." Nico replied, hesitating before saying the name so I knew he was lying and made up a random name.

Alyssa stifled an obvious laugh. "That's an...unusual name for a school. Are you sure that's the name?"

Wow, this girl barely knew my brother and she already could tell when he was lying.

"Uh... Yeah! It's umm...a very common name, actually!" Nico replied. Wow, Nico! Just wow!

This time Alyssa burst out laughing. Then all three of us were laughing our heads off. This was the first time I'd ever seen Nico this happy, laughing carefree with his friends.

Maybe we were overreacting, laughing at such a small thing but it felt good to have the weight of the world lifted off of our shoulders for once. Not literally, of-course.

"Well, I'll leave you two be. Ya know, get to know each other and stuff. 'Cause you just met." I said as I stood up, getting ready to leave.

Nico shot me a panicked look. I knew he wasn't really a social person but that boy really needed someone he could call a proper best friend.

I gave him a reassuring smile and walked down the corridor and into my room. Closing the door behind me I went over and sat on my bed, thinking.

Thinking about how we all changed and how we all can change.
