Everyone froze as they stared at Lord Beerus. Goku was the first to break the silence.

"Really? A daughter?!"

"Yes a daughter"

Lord Beerus said annoyed.

"Wow, but you don't really look like a fatherly type Lord Beerus"

Lord Beerus looked to him with a glare.

"As if you have room to talk"

He said as he stood up and made his way to the balcony and leaned his back against it as everyone continue to stare at him.

"So when do we get to see the little joy?"

Bulma asked.

"You can't see her"

"Well why not?"

"Because she's not here"

"Oh is she dead?"

Goku asked. Lord Beerus scoffs as he turn away with his ears slightly down. Whis decided to speak up to answer everyone's questions.

"Please don't mind Lord Beerus, it's been really difficult for him. His daughter's name is Cookie, she's not here or staying with Lord Beerus because she is off training. She have abilities that are out of this world but she was born with it, so she is trying to control it. As for the record when Lord Beerus mention that you can't see her is because you literally can't see her or else you will just be looking into the abyss and fall into eternal darkness"

"What does that suppose to mean?"

Goku asked confused.

"Meaning that you'll fall to your death"

Vegeta answered.

"No way. Really? Just by looking at her"

"No, just by looking at her eyes"

Lord Beerus answered once he turn back around to face them.

"Oh, I'm sorry"

Goku said sincerely. Lord Beerus closed his eyes as he turn back around and remember how it happen.

*Flashback*

Lord Beerus and Cookie were at the lake. The whole time he had his eyes close.

"So what you have to do is is throw it and then wait, once you feel a tug you quickly pull and reel it in"

He instructed as Cookie happily sat down on the grass holding on to the fishing pole. After a moment of silence, Lord Beerus's patience was wearing thin.

"Well once you get impatient you pounce in the water and grab the fish"

He said.

"Ahem"

A voice said behind them. Lord Beerus looked to see Whis and looked back to his daughter with his eyes close.

"Just practice"

He said as he headed towards Whis.

"Well..."

"I have spoken with the Grand Minister and he said he is willing to take her in and help in anyway he can"

Lord Beerus was about to comment when he heard his daughter sing.

"Cats land on their feet, but we still need to eat. That's Cookie's wish for some fresh flying fish because I'm a kitty, a little kitty"

She sang as she caught the fish.

"Oh yeah, meow!"

She yelled happily. Whis and Lord Beerus then continue on with their conversation.

"What are you talking about? I don't want anyone to take her away, I just want someone to instruct her...."

"It will take time for her to control it, whatever this is"

"But..."

"The Grand minister is now aware of Cookie's ability, if you don't take her to him then he will come for her"

Lord Beerus ponder for a moment before looking back to Whis.

"For how long?"

"I don't know"

Lord Beerus sadly looked down.

"Lord Beerus, you know she's dangerous to everyone, all your servants are dead and this time it wasn't because of you"

"But she's my only daughter and your telling me I have to give her up"

"Just until she can control her abilities, my Lord and then she will return to you"

Lord Beerus sadly looked down before making his way to his daughter who was happily playing with the dead fish. Cookie happily smiled to see her father but slightly frown as he looked sad.

"Daddy?"

"Cookie, you are going to be leaving"

"Where are we going?"

She asked happily.

"No just you"

He answered quietly. Cookie froze at the response.

"By myself?"

She asked in a verge of tears but Lord Beerus tried to keep a straight face on as he placed both his hands behind his back with his eyes close.

"Now young lady, you are old enough to be on your own.."

"But I'm only three!"

She yelled as tears trail down her face.

"I don't want to go, please don't make me go! I love you!!"

She cried as she jumped on him burying her face to his chest. Lord Beerus quickly held her as she cried.

"Cookie, please, understand I don't want this either"

He said above a whisper

"I'll be good, I promise!!"

She cried.

"You have to keep that promise for me when you leave"

"NO! Daddy no!!"

A flash of light shine before disappearing. The Grand Minister was standing beside Whis.

"Is she ready?"

"Lord Beerus is giving her a talk"

Whis answered to his father. The Grand Minister nodded before walking up behind Lord Beerus.

"Cookie you are going to have to come with me"

Lord Beerus had unshed tears as he glare back to the Grand Minister.

"Just give me a second"

He said with a hiss.

"A second"

"You don't want me here anymore?"

"No, that's not it, Princess. You just gotta go away for a little while"

"How long am I going away for?"

Lord Beerus remained quiet as he embraced her hard.

"It's not your fault, okay? I'm the idiot"

"I don't wanna go"

"I know you don't.But you have to and you're gonna be okay"

He said as he pulled her away from him and handed her to the Grand Minister but she tried pulling on his hand.

"Please don't make me go"

"I'm sorry, but I don't know what else to do"

"PLEASE!!"

She cried as the Grand Minister snap his finger as he and Cookie disappeared. Lord Beerus finally let the tears fall.

*End of Flashback*

"Wow, I'm so sorry"

Bulma said sadly as everyone else remained quiet. Little Bulla made her way stumbling on her feet as she reached Lord Beerus and signaled him that she wanted to be picked up, once he did she hugged him causing him to crack a half smile.
