Police were investigating the crime of Elizabeth's death as They were surrounding around the area and were making sure that no one trespasses.

It was the morning and The Police saw that it didn't look fresh and knew the crime took place hours ago. It was all over the news too.

Meanwhile Steve was at his apartment as He was holding his head in sadness. He heard about Elizabeth's death which shocked him alot, He couldn't even believe it as Steve was sitting and looking at the ground.

He was silent until he heard a knock on the door as Steve looked and got up, He opened the door and saw who it was.

It was Mia, Mia had a big smile on her face as Steve looked at her.

Mia: Hi Steve! Look what I made for you?

Steve looked at her before he looked at a tray she was holding.

Steve: Oh. . . . Thank you so much, Mia.

Mia noticed how sad and quiet he was as Steve took the tray as Mia looked at him.

Mia: Are you okay, Steve?

Steve: I'm okay Mia. .

Mia: Are you sure? Can we talk about it?

Steve nodded as Mia walked inside and was staring at him, She had a hunch knowing what the reason could be as Steve placed the cookies on the table as Both Steve and Mia sat on the sofa.

Steve: You didn't hear about what happened?

Mia: No, But I heard there is a crime scene investigation going on.

Steve: It's a murder scene and Elizabeth was the victim. . . . . .

Mia's eyes were widen as She covered her mouth in shock having a fake reaction as Mia looked at him.

Mia: W-What?

Steve: I honestly can't believe it. . . .

Mia: How?? What even happened??

Steve: I don't know Mia, But someone murdered her and I feel pretty sad right now because she was a good friend.

Mia: I can't believe this. . . *Looks at the ground and sighs* She was the kindest girl in this building.

Steve: Thats true and How can someone do something that sick?. . . .

He sighed and held his head, Mia was looking at him as She fixed her hair. Mia had a small smirk on her face knowing that she killed Elizabeth but despite that, Mia was feeling sad to see him sad.

Mia: Hey Steve. . . Its okay. I know how hard this is.

Steve: Thanks Mia. .

Mia looked at him as She nodded and touched his shoulder.

Mia: No problem, Just try to be strong okay? All my thoughts goes to Elizabeth and her family and friends. She didn't deserve this. .

Steve: Thats true. . . I hope everything will get better. But thank you for being with me, Mia.

He looked at her and gave a weak smile as Mia smiled at him.

Mia: No problem Steve, I'm there for you always.

He felt happy by the support Mia was giving as He smiled at her feeling a bit better, Steve decided to try the cookies out while trying to be calm and happy as Mia was looking at him as Steve smiled.

Steve: Wow, I love the cookies you baked.

Mia: Really? Is it good?

Steve: Yes Of course, Your really good at it.

Mia blushed and smiled as Steve smiled at her and continued eating as Mia was eating as well, She got a bit way to close to Steve feeling satisfied and happy.

( Mine. )

Mia's eyes were looking directly at him as She continued eating not taking her eyes off of him as She had a thought on her head.

( Elizabeth was already a Dying Rose when she got close to you and now. . . . She's Dead. )

She chuckled a little as Steve looked at her.

Steve: What happened?

Mia: Oh nothing. . . .

Steve smiled a little as Mia smiled at him and looked around.

Sometime later, Mia was leaving the apartment as She said goodbye to Steve, Steve was about to lock the door until he had a phone call as He went to grab his phone and answered it. Mia was gonna walk away until she heard him speaking as she looked at the door.

She got closer and placed her ear in tbe door and was listening to it.

Steve: Yes Mom, I'm okay. Just something happened today.

Mia realised it was his mother as Mia looked at the door and nodded as She smiled.

( Atleast it's not another women. )

Mia went back to her apartment as She opened her bedroom door and walked inside as she looked at Elizabeth's picture and continued staring at it, She felt her blood boil remembering her until she grabbed a knife and. . .

Mia stared and felt satisfied as She walked towards the picture and smiled.

Mia: Much better.

Mia moved her hair and stretched out as She smiled at Steve's picture.

( Your so handsome. . . )

She giggled and looked at Steve's picture and touched as she was thinking about him and smiled until she received a message and saw who it was.

Steve: Hey Mia, Just wanted to thank you for comforting me at this time, I really appreciate it.

PS: Love the cookies alot.

Mia smiled at his message as She texted him and smiled while placing the phone on her chest.
