Sixteen-year-old Michaela, a popular singer received a fan letter hidden inside a black box during a botched concert. The letter served as her anchor on that lonely day, and from then on, she continuously received the black box every Friday of each week. For years she communicated with her phantom fan until finally, on her twentieth birthday, she was asked by the letter sender to meet with him in person.

Michaela had long fallen in love with the letter sender, so without thinking through it, she agreed. But when she received the address of their meet-up place, she recognized it as her ancestral home.

Curiosity piqued, she found herself inside the rundown mansion, but her world took a 360-degree turn when the identity of the letter sender was revealed to her, turning her supposed romantic meeting into something sinister.
