Cassidy turned away from the window, looking at the three with her enraged, glowing eyes. Lowly, she growled, "How could you do that to your own brother, Klaus?" He looked ashamed. Why did she make him feel ashamed for doing such a thing? It wasn't like he put Elijah at the bottom of the ocean.
"I-" he looked into her golden eyes and sighed. "Please calm down, love."
"Calm down?" she yelled, baring her teeth at him, taking a dangerous step closer. Cassidy has felt a bond starting to form between her and Elijah and Klaus had to ruin it and his brother's days for his own gain.
"Yes," he nodded, cupping his hands together behind his back.
"Why?" she questioned. "Why should I?" Rebekah and Hayley weren't going to interfere. Rebekah seemed keen on the girl, liking her style. Hayley was quite the opposite, she didn't like her all that much, but sensed danger and decided to stay away.
"I'm going to get him back," Klaus smirked, "I needed to do this to-"
"To what?" she rolled her eyes, looking at him with crossed arms."To get Marcel to trust you?"
"Exactly," he smiled in satisfaction.
"I'm going to kill you, Klaus Mikaelson," she growled, stepping closer to him with her claw-like hands.
"Why does Elijah matter so much to you?" he questioned, studying how much anger she possessed. "You just met him."
"And yet," she smirked, "he's twice the man you'll ever be." She didn't want to answer Klaus' question. She chose not to. Elijah was someone of care, and Cassidy appreciated that since she didn't get too much of it. Her family was dead, friends barley in contact, and Elijah was the only genuine soul she'd met in a long time. She looked up at Klaus and punched his left cheek with her right hand, causing his head to whip to the side. Klaus grabbed his cheek and watched as she stormed out of the mansion.

Rebekah walked out the front door, watching as Cassidy sat in the middle of weeds and flowers, picking some and tying them together.
"What're you doing?" Rebekah called out, walking off the front steps. Cassidy looked up at the nearing blonde and groaned, "Listen, Rachel, if you're going to yell at me, I don't care." Rebekah rolled her eyes.
"I'm not here to yell at you," she explained, "I'm here to thank you. I didn't think anyone could stand up to Klaus like that and not be killed. Personally, I'd be daggered."
"Well," Cassidy shrugged, looking up at Rebekah, "you're welcome, I guess."
"Just one question," she added.
"Shoot," Cassidy said, placing the flowers in her lap and leaning back on her hands.
"Why care for Elijah so much?" Rebekah asked, looking at the girl in curiosity.
"He brought me hospitality," the wolf explained, going back to tying the flowers back together.
"You never answered my question."
"I just did," Cassidy replied, raising one eyebrow.
"What are you doing?" Rebekah asked, looking at the circle of flowers questioningly.
"I'm making a flower crown." Cassidy smiled and placed it on her head. "Ta-da."
"Where'd you learn this?" Cassidy looked down at the newly picked flower in her hand and smiled, remembering when she had learned how to make flower crowns.
"My sister," she told Rebekah, looking up at her with a small smile. The blonde original smiled back, saying, "I'd like to meet her someday."
"Good luck with that," Cassidy scoffed, looking down at the crushed flower in her hands.
"What's that supposed to mean?" Rebekah asked, feeling slightly offended.
"It means she's dead."
It all became silent. The birds no longer chirped, the wind stopped blowing, and Rebekah looked down at the girl with sorrow and silence. This was another reason she cared so much for Elijah, because she thought Klaus didn't care enough. She thought it was foolish to make him go to the opposing team forcefully. She thought Klaus was an idiot, coward, who couldn't fight his own battles so he had to use his brother for bait. Well, one day, his brother won't be there by his side, no one will.
Rebekah crouched down and picked a flower, the stem was short, but it was a cute flower.
"Teach me."

"Nice reefs," Klaus joked as the two walked into the house smiling and making nice conversation.
"They aren't reefs, you twit, they're crowns, because we are queens," Rebekah smirked, lifting her head up high.
"I'll see you later, Rachel," Cassidy said as she walked up the stairs, going to her room.
"I'll see you, Cassidy." Rebekah smiled and went back out of the mansion to go to Rousseau's.
"Queens of dirt, maybe," Klaus mumbled as Rebekah exited the door and Cassidy stepped into her room.
"Oh, I heard that, Nik!"
