The next morning was quite hectic. Of course, as vampires, the Mikaelsons (& Marcel) weren't drunk by the end of the night and neither was the pregnant wolf. Cassidy and her friends on the other hand, were. Even if they said last night that they wouldn't be.

Cassidy woke up on the floor, a blanket loosely draped over her. She held her aching head and looked over at the Roman numeral clock. It was 12:40 pm already. She looked around the room, no one in sight. Standing up slowly, she made her way into the kitchen, where she found Keith asleep in a chair with  his head on the table.

"Keith," she said, hitting his head so he'd wake up.

"Ugh," he groaned with one eye peaking at her as he shyed away from the sunlight falling through the open widow near him, "what time is it?" Keith's hair stuck to his face at odd angles and he desperately tries to push them back with one hand while his other stayed on the side of his face to prop up his head.

"Just get up." Then, she walked into another room, finding Aaron and Macy asleep on the window seat, Macy's arm wrapped around Aaron's shoulder in some friendly gesture no one would remember. She pushed them both off, waking them up immediately, the pair groaning as they hit the hard flooring which  made their headaches ten times worse.

"Help me clean," Cassidy prompted making her way back into the kitchen and stopping for a moment to hold her dizzy head, realizing how much turning and walking she just did and just how much it hurt.

"Need aspirin?" There was Klaus, standing with Keith as he handed the shaggy haired boy the said medicine.

"You'll poison me, I'm sure of it."

"I wouldn't let him," Rebekah smiled, winking at her as she walked into the room to see all the hungover faces. This had reminded Cassidy of a conversation she had that night.

- Flashback -

"And Elijah... Why do you keep him in a box if you know that's not what he would've wanted?" Curiosity was written all over Cassidy's face as she turned to Marcel, her brows furrowed as he hesitated to tell the girl anything since she lived in the Mikaelson house. "I won't tell him... or any of them for that matter."

Content with the unlying eyes that stared back at him, Marcel complied, "Klaus only has so many weaknesses and I seem to be just a dull memory to him when I once was family and I once was a weakness. He'll screw me over, I have a feeling. Maybe I'm wrong. We'll never know until we find out." His bright smile had contrasted with the sad eyes that went accompanied it. Cassidy nodded, looking out on the property around her and the people conversing around the yard. The mixture of booze and fresh-cut grass wafted around them and she thought about why Klaus would give over someone as precious as his brother. His  family. All she knew was that he needed Marcel's trust, but it's not like Marvel knew she knew that.

"He must want something," she finally admitted, turning her body on the deck railing so she could face Marcel again. His face was straight as he watched her, waiting for a continuing. "C'mon. He wouldn't just give up Elijah like a prize. I'm sure if family is his weakness, he'd fight for it and not let it go so easily. They're all he's got. Then again, you say you used to be family, but maybe he still thinks you are." With that, she hopped from the railing and neared her wobbly friend, Amber her smiled at her giddily.

- End Flashback -

"At least I remember something," Cassidy mumbled as she turned from the kitchen, the statement going unheard by her pair of friends just entering the kitchen. Klaus  shared a look with Rebekah as he lowered the container of pills.

Amber yawned peacefully and stretched, looking over at her waker. Cassidy eyed her for a moment. She had grass in her tangled hair and a party hat strapped over her head  so the cone poked out under her chin. Amber, sitting in the shade of a tree, groaned once her friend picked her up and walked her into the sunlight.

"What're we doing?" she asked, slinging an arm over her eyes to sheild them. Cassidy kept silent for a moment before muttering, "Don't barf," and slinging the girl over one shoulder as she made various noises, but made sure she didn't throw up.

All eyes landed on them as they entered the house, Cassidy ignoring the stares and Amber too tired to care. Rebekah had wide eyes as she stared at the two walking through her living room.

"Don't hold her like that over my rug!" she screeched, coming into the living room and pushing Cassidy out of it and into the kitchen. Aaron groaned at the loud noise and put his head down into his arms.

"A little over dramatic, don't you think?" the hungover lycanthrope  joked, looking at Rebekah's still shocked face. Cassidy went deeper into the kitchen and grabbed two trash bags, leaving as quick as she came. As she walked through the living toom, she stopped for a moment and smirked in mischief. She adjusted her friend over her shoulder to reposition her, gaining a groan from Amber and a nervous noise from Rebekah. Klaus smirked at the wolf as she went back outside.

"Okay!" Cassidy sighed, after placing down her friend and handing her a trash bag. "You, Me," she pointed between the two as she said this, "Clean up duty." Amber groaned, not from the fact that she had a headache that  was slowly fading away, but from the thought of doing work. Amber didn't do much work unless needed especially if that work was cleaning. "We're wolves," Cassidy continued as she noticed her unwilling friend, "Our hangovers will go away faster than the humans inside. We need to show some sort of gratitude for the party and that gratitude is cleaning." She walked off, leaving Amber to think as she watched her friend pick up solo cups, party hats, and plates. Soon, she joined the other wolf out of guilt and they worked for ages, finding cups in the trees and around the strangest of corners.

"Why couldn't the vampires of the party compel the people to clean up after themselves? Seems a little ridiculous to me," Amber grumbled and picked up another cup. Both of the girls' headaches were gone, but it didn't mean Amber would sip complaining. It was something that came to her naturally, never thinking it rude or even hesitating to say what was on her mind. Sometimes it got her into trouble and she honestly couldn't figure out why, but Cassidy and their friends thought that Amber speaking her mind was a good thing in most settings.

"They're rich and live their lives above others," a new voice replied, the shuffle of her own trashbag sounding as she opened it. Cassidy looked up at her in confusion as Amber, who was facing Cassidy, turned around to look at the vaguely familiar girl from last night. Hayley hesitated, but explained, "They've had people working for them all their lives, cleaning up their messes and they have enough money to hire some cleaner later in the day, compelling them to go unnoticed like a true servant. Besides, most parties they go to are ones of elegance and high class people or vampires. I'm sure there weren't many physical messes to clean there." Cassidy, although she didn't like Hayley, smiled small. They worked together for a little while longer, picking up trash and having nice conversation. Occasionally, Cassidy or would insist that Hayley take a break because of being pregnant and how it can exhaust you more that usual, even for a wolf, but the pregnant lycanthrope only brushed her facts off.

Once they were almost finished cleaning, the front door swung open and Klaus sauntered out whilst announcing, "I am here to join you wolves in cleaning!"

"Niklaus knows how to clean?" Cassidy raised  an eyebrow at the man, her arms crossed as she watched him cockily step off the stairs.

"Of course! Don't you know how old I am? It's no secret," he smirked at her as she rolled her eyes and went back to tying her bag up.

"You're a little late," Amber commented, pushing her dyed  hair from her face and placing a few more things into her bag.

Hayley silently agreed as she walked back over to her bag with a cup, but instead of placing it into the bag she threw it at Klaus while saying, "This is a wolf only event. Hybrids aren't allowed." To no surprise or amusement from anyone, Klaus caught the cup and eyed the three before walking up the stairs.

"Bring a trash bag next time!" Cassidy shouted at his retreating back.

Once the lycanthrope girls were back inside, Cassidy made appoint to get Klaus off his feet since he was so eager to clean before. She threw a trash bag at him as he became  annoyed and then looked up at her with a questioning face.

"You offered to help clean earlier," she smiled cheekily, "Now's your chance."
