A Cup of Tea, A Cup of Thoughts #34

{August 26, 2015; Loneliness}

Sometimes it seems that loneliness is the only who knows you best, even though loneliness hurts you so much. It seems like it because when loneliness is with you a lot, it seems like it's with you more than anyone else is when it is with you.

It seems like it, and I can connect to that.

Loneliness has been something that I have struggled with a lot and still do struggle with; and though I am not the only one who is lonely, it seems like it and it feels like it when loneliness picks me as its company.

Yet feelings can be wrong. You can't make feelings your life or something that you can truly depend on because feelings aren't perfect and feelings can be wrong.

And as lonely as you may feel, as alone you may feel, and as much as loneliness hurts you, you aren't alone.

You really aren't.

We were never made to be alone or feel lonely.

We were made relationships, for companionship. Haven't you ever wondered why you felt the need to be with someone? To be with people whom you truly love and trust? To be with people whom you can trust, or a person who you can trust?

To be with someone when sadness comes and you aren't feeling well?

And not just feel, but need and want and long to just be with someone? Someone you love and trust?

We were made to be with someone. We were made to have relationship, to have companionship. We were made for God.

To have a companionship, a relationship, a love with Him and others.

With Him and others.

We were never made to be lonely or alone, and we never will.

God can take away the loneliness. It's not impossible, not impossible for Him to take away the loneliness that makes you cry at times and want to scream out loud but you scream inside. It's not impossible to take away the loneliness who clings to you with its brokenness.

It's not.

Haha. He's a God of possibilities, a God of everything; and though it seems like it and feels like it that God can't take away the loneliness when loneliness seems so deep, God can and God is deeper than loneliness or any loneliness.

God is our Hope. Our Strength when we go through the hard times. Our Victory when our troubles are gone. Our Everything.

The Lord will not abandon his people, because that would dishonor his his great name. For it has please the Lord to make you his very own people.

1 Samuel 12:22

So be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid  and do not panic before them. For the Lord your God will personally go ahead of you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.

Deuteronomy 31:6
