Invitation
"I know more than you"
"I knew that already"
"Stop! Say no more, I know"
"What are you telling me? I know better"
Know that none of us is the Most Knowledgable.
"I tell you, lying is bad," said a liar,
"Stop wasting water!" said a person in whose house
the lights, fans, ovens, etc. are on.
"Human rights!" screams someone who destroyed nations
Know that you have to be the change you want to see.
"I published like 3 fat books on Islam"
"I spoke at like 4 schools about Islam"
"I taught my friend about how birthdays are Haram"
"I scored 100/100 on Islam and Quran."
Know that it's because Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) willed for you to get success -
With His power and might, He (سبحانه وتعالى) gave you success.
Without the power of Allah, we are nothing but dust.
Without the permission of Allah (SWT), we can't move,
Without His permission, our hearts can't beat,
Without His power, we are powerless.
He (سبحانه وتعالى) is the One Who is the Most Knowledgeable.
It's because of His will that you know all you know.
Instead of being proud of what you know,
humble yourself -
praise the Most Knowledgeable!
And ask Him (سبحانه وتعالى) to increase your knowledge.
Submit to the Lord of the worlds, the Most Knowledgeable,
and humble yourself.
We are dust without His power -
so praise Him, and not yourself.
Author's Note: When we invite people to Islam or correct someone, or spread our knowledge - we forget that we are sinners ourselves and that we have weaknesses. We tend to act arrogant, and like the more important, purer person. We should remember Allah (سبحانه وتعالى)'s words in Surah Najm, Ayah 32:
"So do not claim yourselves to be pure; He is most knowing of who fears Him."
