Bothersome
It's time to go outside
or people are coming home
or I'm going to the balcony
or I'm praying or reading, or just feeling cold
I wrap a cloth over my head,
or slid a cloth around my face,
and wear a loose, flowing, dress,
opaque, and fully covering me
like a queen of great honor and dignity,
like a pearl that is well-preserved in its oyster,
like a precious gem hidden and protected from thieving eyes
or hands
but some people want to expose
my priceless hidden gems
to them I say: I am a queen, I don't bow to anyone
anyone but my Creator - Allah (سبحانه وتعالى)
to them my crown is bothersome
they fear that I'm better and stronger
they fear me because they can't see me
such cowards -
they splash buckets of water on me
they don't know they're humiliating a queen
our Creator will humiliate them on the day
the Day of extreme tension and Resurrection
they chase after me in groups of hundreds
do they not know that my Protector and my Guardian
owns the Heavens, and the Earth, and everything in them
He (سبحانه وتعالى) created all of us, and me, and if I have Him
I don't need to worry even if you chase me in groups of billions
they forbid me from wearing my crown
HOW DARE YOU FORBID THE QUEEN FROM HER CROWN
you are no one to tell me to remove my crown
OBEDIENCE OF CREATOR OVER CREATION
I'm a queen, my crown shows you that
I'm a queen, only the ones I allow can see me
I'm a queen, only the ones I allow can speak with me
I'm a queen, I follow the One who created me
I'm a queen, so don't you dare get near me
I'm a queen, I'm well-preserved
I'm a queen, a unique gem
I'm a queen, so goodbye
They claim that I'm oppressed and chained
no, it's YOU who's trying to oppress me and chain me
by NOT allowing me to wear my crown
BUT I WILL WEAR MY CROWN! Because I'm a queen!
Author's Note: The events mentioned here were when the Hijab was banned in India and what the disbelievers did to the sisters who obeyed their Creator. Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) is All-Wise and the Protector of the believers. This life is a test - this is Dunya. Nothing will ever be perfect. Perfection, seek it in the next life, in Jannah, In Sha Allah. Allah (سبحانه وتعالى) says in Surat-ul-'Ankabut, Ayahs 2 and 3:
"Do the people think that they will be left to say, 'We believe and they will not be tried?"
"But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars."
