Chapter: Three
With the smartphone pressed against his ear with the right hand and the left hand tapping his desk Victor replies "I want you to fix so that Sean keeps quiet as longs as possible, do whatever you can just to keep him quiet".
- But, I don't know if...
- Just give him all you've got, you'll get rewarded for it later, just get him to be quiet. "Click". Victor ends the call and leans back with a with a smile that does not indicate anything good.

Ed takes the fastest route to the bus garage by the old gas station, where he steps out of his car with his grey coat and wit his horrible socks to speak with the bus chauffeur. "What's up, I'm looking for the chauffeur of bus 174, could I get a name", Ed says at the reception by the entrance. "Does the sir have jurisdiction" the young man says by the reception. Ed pulls up and shows the badge and the 20- year old suddenly wakes up with a shocked face. "Oh...oooh wait, just a second". the young man says. The sound from a printer is heard and the young lad hands over some papers with picture and text of the chauffeur. "Thanks" Ed says and continues past the reception and out to the garage. "Name: Bloom, Sean Age: 31..." Ed scrolls quickly through the papers and looks his way to buss 174, he notices a monkey-wrench and screws that is laying under a little trap door below the bus itself. "Odd" Ed thinks. Then he walks on the bus and sees a matching figure with a nice hairstyle that resembles the man on the photo. "You must be Sean" Ed says.
- Yes, and who are you? How did you find me?
- I'm detective Ed Dubois and I have some questions to ask you, Ed says whilst he shows the badge.
- Oh well, but how did you find me sir?
- I'm investigating the case of John Kershaw, the boy takes a ride with this exact bus every Sunday and you seem to be the chauffeur of this bus, aren't you?
- Euh, yes, something else?, Sean says suddenly very shocking.
- Do you know someone by the name of Victor Kershaw, Kershaw Industries?
- Naah, maybe heard of the name before but otherwise never...
Whilst Sean answered with his stuttering response, Ed discovers Sean's lunchbox with a cheese sandwich and a coffee cup with big bold letters "Kershaw Industries", "So, Sean...you seem to be fond of coffee, right?" Ed says. Sean puzzled by the random question then suddenly notices that the lunch box by mistake is laying there wide open, he shuts the box quickly and answers "Euuh, yeah, who doesn't like coffee" with a fake smile glued onto his face. "The boy, John, did you see what happened to him?", Ed says. "Do not really know, I drive with so many passengers so it's difficult to remember people you know, where they drop off and when they enter the bus", Sean says.
- Oh well, okay that was everything, by the way before I go, make sure to keep your "secret trapdoor" at the back closed.
Sean freezes, his heart has stopped and he is cold sweating, "What is the boss going to say know?!", "Ooh, right my trapdoor, keep quiet about that please, that is my trapdoor for...Euh. It's for smuggling in an extra sandwich ye-yeah, despite you getting only one at the lunch cart, but don't say anything, otherwise my boss will be mad. Here, take this" Sean says and hands over two twenty dollar bills from a bundle of dollar bills tied with a rubber band in his left hand. "No thanks, I understand, coffee and sandwiches are irresistible, by the way that is a bonus from the boss. No need to waste that one me". Ed says whilst getting off the bus and strolling away to his car with a smile on his lips. "Victor must've tried to quiet him down with the help of money, I knew that there was something weird about him, so now we got the big question about the church", Ed thinks whilst he drives through the exit and straight towards the police station.

Ed pulls out a chair opposite of Mark and says with a whispering voice "Listen closely, this is between me and you, everything the coming days you'll get to know stays between you and me, understood?", "Euh, Okay, what is it, why are you whispering?", Mark says.
- I want you to look up the stocks for Kershaw Industries and compare the 3 past years with the years he started his company and find everything you know about St. Nicolas church, got it?
- St. Nicolas church, where is that, never heard about that church.
- That is the thing that worries me, but remember now stocks and church.
- What's so special with Kershaws stocks and...Oh right you took the case with Kershaw, but what does the stocks have to do with anything of this?
- Just find out about it, then you'll tell me everything, I'll have a chat with the chief of the Central Bank and take a quick tour by this church so called St. Nicolas, I also think that our boring chemistry lessons are to good use after all, see ya.
- Don't remind me, I got an C, just because you got an A on the test!
Ed jumps into the car and drives straight to Subway to buy some fresh coffee, but without cream this time, "Is everything alright", says the guy by the register that Ed meets every time. "Yep, without cream, give it to me when I get back", Ed says. The black Mercedes Benz is parked outside the Central bank and Ed climbs up the stairs and takes the elevator to the second floor where the young blonde receptionist is sitting and is chewing chewing gum. "Is Paul Dogle here today. I would like to talk with him about something important", Ed says. "He receive interviews right now, but you can come back some other day", she says. Ed sighs, pulls up his badge and says with an annoyed tone, "This is important, OK, I'm investigating a case and I need to talk with your boss right now at this exact moment".
- I would gladly help you but he is not here today.
- What is his marine blue Nissan Qashqai doing there outside then?! I do not want my coffee to cool down! It was a good observation that I saw that the blue Nissan was the only car parked in the vip area, quick and witted. Well observed Ed! Ed thought for himself. So? Where is he, huh?
- Euh, I...euh
Suddenly the elevator doors open and there Paul Dogle stands with the phone over his ear and is speaking with someone. "Hmm, he..is...hee..re...now...call..later", Ed thinks whilst he tries to read the lips of Paul whilst he approaches Ed. "Can I help you, Ed?", Paul says. "I never told him my name!", Ed thinks and replied with "I want to ask some questions, if you are not busy?".
- No, absolutely not, follow me.
Ed and Paul takes the elevator all the way up to the eleventh floor where they step out and then goes and sits in Paul's office. "You must've heard of the horrific murder on John, Victor's son??", Ed says.
- Yes, I mourn very much for my beloved friend Victor, that day was horrible, with bad weather etc. Even my company the past year have drop value in its stocks.
- Oh, what do you mean then?
- I own the biggest bank in the country and in the past year a lot of money have disappeared, before where we robbed many times, but now with my beloved friend Victors products, have made it so that almost not a single crime has occurred, but people have complained that their investments have disappeared and I with the help of the government need to pay back for the losses (damages).
- That was sad to hear, but lucky that Victor still "helps" you.
- He is like a family member and he is the first one (primary) I trust.
- I'd like to know if I could take a look at your surveillance system, you and Victor have also placed surveillance cameras at the Morning Tunnel, am I right?
- Yes indeed we have, sadly though that even with the security such a horrible accident occurred, that we didn't want to occur, come along here.
Paul shows the way into a room with a fingerprint scanner from Kershaw Industries, Ed notices that a screw is loose by the scanners side and that a usual fingerprint is reflected by the sunlight towards Ed. The scanner (fingerprint reader) open up a door to a large room with (eleven) semi-large monitors and a large one in the middle. "12 monitors to respective 12 surveillance cameras placed all over the building, right?", Ed says.
- Yup, one camera for every floor, the building has 11 floors and then one outside by the entrance.
- Could you show me the camera at the Morning Tunnel, I would like to see if something happened before the incident (accident), review the tapes at the Sunday about 12 o'clock.
- We have installed 3 cameras in the tunnel, one that is pointed to the entrance, one that records when you drive out of the tunnel and that is the one that's used the most, but recently we've had problems with the cameras.
- Oh really, how so?
- I will show you, look here.
Paul points towards the monitor when he orders one of his employees to rewind and play it again. Ed discovers (notices) that the sun blends (sun flare) the lens of the camera almost all the time with a strong (bright) white light. "You can see everything, but the inside, because the sun shines through and in, if we remove the glas, then Victor will start to complain and the drivers will become angry", Paul says. "I understand, could I get a copy of about one hour between the 11:30-12:30 time period on a USB", Ed says. Paul's employees inserts a USB, copies one hour of footage (recording) and hands it over to Paul. "Something else detective, I can do everything in my power to assist you", Paul says and gives the USB to Ed. "No that was everything, thank you so much, see ya". Ed says. Paul gazes out through the windows of the eleventh floor and watches Ed entering the Mercedes, "You were right, he came over and asked a lot of questions about your son", Paul says.
- As said, say no more, there is something shady with that detective.
- He seemed normal, he just wanted to help you with the invest...
- No! Do not trust anyone, not right now, this week have been very dangerous when he began with his investigating.
"Okay, whatever you say", Paul says whilst he presses the end call button and with big white letters it displays on the touch screen "Call ended- Victor K".
