Hi, my name is Caitlin Cullen-Uley. If you haven't already guessed, I'm dead by now. Well sort of. You see, the day I had fell from the cliff, I had given up on life itself, knowing I could never redeem myself for all I have done. So I decided to go to the one place I could barely say without tearing up. The place I had my first kill. The place I killed my young brother. My little sister's twin. That was only 20 years ago, when I had reached the age of my first shift at the age of 14. My little brother, William, and sister, Wendy, were only 5, neither knowing what I could do, and neither knowing to be gentle around me during the shift. That day I had killed my brother and my sister feared me for the longest time. My parents had died of depression years later, leaving my sister in my custody. When she reached the age of 10, I had been found out. The Volturi started hunting me down. And my sister knew this, so she made me promise her something.

"Never stop running. I don't care if you hurt our family, you're still my sister. Run Cait, run and when you know it's safe, come back to me and we'll be a family again."

She had given me a little present that day. It was a necklace and a pair of earrings.

To this day I carry it around, remembering the promise. I've never worn the jewelry, feeling as though I was meant to wear it when I came back to her. It's the only thing I have to remember her, and to remind me of why I run. I run for her. I run for her future. For her safety. I run for her family, that she has no doubt, found. The day at the cliff, I fell into the icy waters, hearing her voice, hearing Carlisle's too. Both were worry-filled. I had blacked out in the water, only waking up what felt like an hour later in a strange room, on a hospital like bed. I got a whiff of the air and smelt Carlisle and two new scents. Both female. I got up and walked to the door, opening it to find Carlisle beside a pale brunette and a pale blonde.

"You've awoken..." Carlisle says kindly, nodding at me for reassurance of the two vampires beside him.

"How... How long was I out for?" I whisper.

"A year." (Imma pretend okay? I don't want her to be asleep for like, a hundred years...) The brunette says kindly, almost motherly.

"Caitlin, this is Esme and Rosalie." Carlisle says calmly.

"Hmmm... Carlisle. Did you do my wish?" I turn to him, not feeling comfortable with talking with these... Newborns.

"Of course. She was very saddened by the news. She had a family now. Even a baby girl named after you." Carlisle smiles softly, trying to give me comfort. "Are you hungry? I could go hunt for you."

"No." I state firmly. I glance at the women in the room, and he seems to understand.

"They are okay, Caitlin. I turned them while they were on deaths door. Along with another. You'll meet him soon." Carlisle places a hand on my shoulder.

"How can I trust that you are no longer Volturi?" I hiss under my breathe.

"My eyes are Golden now. I only feast on animals, no longer humans. I left the Volturi a day before you fell from the cliff. I tried to tell you that." He explains.

"Someone's coming." I state strongly. I could smell death upon them. When they entered the household, and into the room, it revealed a brownish-blonde haired boy. His eyes golden, much like the others.

"She's awake?" The boy asks shocked.

"Edward, this is Caitlin..." Carlisle introduces us. I shake his hand, before seeing him, a brown haired, pale girl, I see she wasn't a vampire, but obviously wanted to become one. This was his mate. His destined. My...

"Caitlin?" Carlisle snaps me from the vision.

"Sorry. I am going for a short run, maybe catch an animal or two..." I run out, shifting and running around the glass house before running into the woods, passing a creek and catching a few snacks before heading back...

Years later.

I became close with Esme, Edward, Rosalie, and the three new additions to the family; Emmet, Jasper and Alice. I was closer to Rosalie and Edward. I bonded with all the Cullen's, but stronger with the two. I bonded with Esme due to her motherly attitude, since I didn't have a mother that cared for me. I bonded with Edward due to his... Personality. We both were cut off from others, but were still willing to help our families if dangers arised. Rosalie loved cars, and she loved fixing them, so we bonded over that, even planning on making our own when we get the chance. Emmet, who was found by Rose, and he is her mate, was fond of sports and fighting, which we only bonded on fighting, due to his competitiveness and my challenging nature. Jasper was a little wary around me, knowing I wasn't a vampire, and that he could seriously hurt me, but when he realised what I was, it was like he was a brother to me. Alice was one of the few I didn't mind ordering me around, since she normally only ordered me to try on new outfits. She sometimes terrified me, but we were still friends. We both share the powers of vision. Mine only relying on touch. I had a few abilities the Cullen's didn't know, and I hoped they would never find out. It had now been over two hundred years. We had barely moved back to Forks, where I had awoken in the glass home Carlisle owned. I sigh as I hear the sounds of wildlife. I knew of the pack over the creek. I knew I was related to the Alpha, Sam Uley. I also knew that a close friend would call to ask me to visit him. He was buddies with the sheriff of Forks.

"Cait! Phone!" Carlisle shouts out for me, knowing my door was locked. I unlock it and flash to the phone, answering it and smiling.

"Caitlin speaking, what can I do for you?" I ask cheerfully, already knowing who it is.

"Caitlin Cullen-Uley. Been a while, huh?" A voice chuckles from the other line. "Care to visit the Sheriff with me and my son? His daughter moved in with him today."

"I'd love to, Mr. Wheely." I joke. "I'll meet you there, yeah?"

"Okay, goodbye Cait." He laughs before hanging up.

"Carlisle! I'm heading out!" I shout, grabbing the keys to my light blue jeep before flashing outside and into it.

"Can I go?" Jasper asks suddenly, on the hood of my jeep.

"No." I state. His face falls and he pouts a bit. "Black will be there. And I'm going around humans. I promise I'll take you out later."

"Okay." He huffs, sliding off and waving goodbye.

He only acts this way around me due to our bond. I slowly back out of my spot, heading over to Sheriff Swan's home. Once I reach it I see a rusty red truck, already parked out front. I sigh as I see the Sheriff walk out and smile at me. The two owners of the truck, Billy Black and Jacob Black, both get out of the truck and join me on the drive way to talk with Mr. Swan.

"How's life with the Cullen's?" Billy jokes from his spot in his wheelchair. I roll my eyes and playfully tug his hair a bit.

"Hey, Swan. Heard your baby girl came to join ya in Forks." I smile. He nods, never used to speaking with me. He calls the girl out and I smile. This is Edwards mate, his destined. My many great(don't wanna do the math, so gonna say 5th great) neice. Her fifth great grandmother being my little sister, Wendy.

"Caitlin, this is Charlie's daughter, Isabella Swan." Billy smiles up at me. I nod down at him.

"I'm guessing you prefer Bella?" I ask. She freezes, not knowing me, but then she nods shyly. "Don't worry, I don't bite." I chuckle as she laughs nervously. "Jacob here goes to school on the reservation."

"Oh... I was hoping to know at least one person at school." She sighs disappointedly.

"Well you will. Me." I wrap an arm around her shoulders and feel her tense. "Sorry if my skins cold. My family prefer the cold so they always have the air conditioner onto 'Antarctica'." I joke, it was a lame joke but she laughed anyways. "I actually have some siblings going to school with me too. I'm sure they'll love you, just... Tread carefully at first."

"I'll do my best." She says shyly. I walk with her and Jacob, behind Charlie and Billy who head inside for the game on TV.

Hours pass and I leave after talking with Bella for a few hours. She had fallen asleep when I finally decided to leave. Billy and Jacob already left two hours ago. Charlie was downstairs, drinking some coffee when I walked past him. He nods goodbye to me before he locks the door behind me and I get into my jeep and head home. Laying down in my bed and sleeping the night away as I listen to Emmet play video games in the room next to me, and Rosalie work on the cars in the garage.

Next day. (First day of school for Bella)

I walk into the school, ignoring the people around me who talk about Bella's arrival. I keep walking until I see a boy hitting on Bella, but she's oblivious to it.

"Hey, Eric. Leave the girl alone, yeah?" I command, standing on my left leg, crossing my arms to show I'm protective.

"We were just talking." He says nervously. Jessica, And her boyfriend and insecure friend come up. I wrap my arms around Bella's shoulders, my head rested on her right shoulder. She relaxes, knowing I'm only protecting her.

"Caitlin." Jessica says snobbily.

"Jessica." I say venomously. I notice Jasper down the hall, glancing my way. "I need to head to class, I'll see you later Bell."

"Yeah... Bye." She says quietly, still shy.

Lunch.

I walk into the cafeteria, a bit later than my siblings. I watch as Bella asks Jessica who they were, and Jessica complains about how they are all together, except me and Edward. She then continues to say how no one seemed good enough to Edward, and how I always scared the boys off.

"Hey, Caity-Cat." Jasper whispers, trying to act like he usually does to others, but a smile was still visible when he saw me.

"Yeah, and like, Caitlin? She's closest to Jasper and Rosalie. Sometimes with Edward, but not much nowadays." I hear Jessica state snobbily, as usual.

"Oh..." I hear Bella sigh as I tube their conversation out, so I can eat Esme's home cooked meal she sent me off with.

"How's your day so far, Siblings?" I ask politely. There were to many names I didn't want to say.

"Interesting." Most of them reply, Edward looking at Bella frustratedly.

"You won't be able to read her mind." I growl softly at him. "So stop making that face at her." My siblings looked at me, shocked. "She's my fifth great niece."

"Really? I thought you said you... Killed your brother?" Emmet whispers, obviously intrigued. I eat my food before hearing something from a couple tables over. Something that ticked me off. I slam my hands on the table before getting up and heading to the jock table, glaring at the quarterback.

"Say it again. I dare you." I hiss, getting in his face. His eyes widen, knowing I was angered. He looked at my siblings for help, but they simply shook their heads and watch as I grab the poor boy's collar and drag him outside. "Say it again. C'mon!"

"I didn't mean anything by it! I swear!" He pleads, staying on the ground as we stop on the football field.

"You do not disrespect my family. You do not disrespect Bella." I growl menacingly. "Now scram before I decide to hurt you."

"Y-yes ma'am!" He scrambles back inside and I feel arms wrap around my waist.

"I love it when you lose control and get angry." The man behind me says before kissing my neck. I stand still, knowing who it was. It was another vampire I knew. Only he worked for the Volturi and he was delusional, thinking I was his mate.

"Jones." I growl quietly.

"That's it... Use your alpha tone on me..." He says happily.

"What are you doing here?" I whisper, not turning to face him.

"Well... I wanted to visit my mate..." He whispers, trying to seduce me, but he noticed it didn't work so he pouted. "The Volturi are still looking for you. And I thought it'd only be fair if I told you..."

"I thank you for the warning, but I think it best if you leave. Now." I command and he flashes away after trying to kiss me. I walk back to my siblings, all still in the cafeteria. "Anyways. I did, but he had a twin sister... Bella's fifth great grandmother..."

"Wasn't her name Wendy?" Jasper asks curiously.

"Yes..." I whisper, feeling tears prick my eyes.
