I'm not too sure how this dream came about, but it was pretty interesting so I had to include it.

I was alone in a dark copd room when I heard footsteps echoing from seemingly everywhere. I tried to hide in the darkest corner but the intruder had already seen me. It was a tall woman in all black. Basically an assassins armor, but in the same time period as Van Helsing. The woman goes on to explain that I was caught stealing a weapon and managed to fight off all the guards except her. She found my skills very intriguing and wanted to put me to the test, and if I were to pass the test she would recruit me to be an assassin alongside her. The next day im given assassins armor and a dull short sword. After armoring up and realizing the sword was rather dull, I was knocked unconscious. I woke up in the woods alone with a small satchel. In the satchel I had a sharpening stone and a note. The note read that I must survive for a week and manage to kill all 10 targets. I blew through the week easily and killed 9 out of 10 targets. I was on the final day and the final target, a young rogue mage. When I found her she was terrified and hiding from what she called the evil shadows, she was frail and weak from days of running and on the brink of death. After watching her for a while, she called me out and told me she knew what I was there for. After revealing myself she begged me to kill her so that it could end her suffering. I did so with no hesitation, and shortly after I was again unconscious. I woke up in a nice tavern, the assassin woman offering me a drink that smelled horrible. I refused it and she attacked me, I countered every attack and we came to a draw, after which she handed me a small elven broach and said "Welcome to the Dalish Assassins."

This is the best representation I could find of the woman. She was pretty badass in my opinion.

And this is the Dalish Broach. Yes its the one from Lord of the Rings. I love the way Elves are represented in the series.
