I sat beside Emerald as we watched Mercury face off against Yang, she got back up as she activated her semblance.

This brought back bad memories so i looked away, soon enough Yang won and our plan was set into motion.

Yang punched Mercury's leg making him scream out in pain, Cinder and Neo rushed down while disguised as nurses and took him away.

Yang was quickly apprehended by Atlas robots so me and Emerald rushed down to the "ambulance"

Going inside Mercury was laying down and groan.

Mercury: Tell me doc, will i ever walk again?

Me: Quit messing around, you couldn't even feel it

Mercury: That's some great bed side manners you have

I slapped his forehead making him shoot up and hold it as he winced.

Me: Be lucky you only had to put up with her punched for a few minutes

Mercury: Compared to what?

Me: Seven years...

Going over to a seat i sat down and watched Emerald go over to Cinder, she's been more infatuated with Cinder for some reason.

Honestly it hurts. I used to be able to depend on Emerald but now... i feel as if i'm alone again.

Neo was driving us but she looked back to me and shot me a wink before focusing on the road.

Huh, guess she's in a happy mood because we're going to get Roman back.

Timeskip

As Pyrrha faced off against Penny i invaded the air ship with Neo to rescue Roman.

We hopped abroad and even though she was disguised using her semblance i wasn't.

One of my nails began to spin as i aimed at a guard, it noticed us and went to call others but i fired inbetween it's eyes, destroying the robot.

Spinning another i shot off the lock on Roman's cell allowing him to come out.

He walked out his cell so Neo handed him his hat, the Grimm alert went off so we went over to the control room.

Neo went to the roof as Roman placed his scroll in a port allowing him control of the ship. A ping went off making Roman sigh

Roman: Oh you cannot be serious

He showed me his scroll which was a picture of Ruby with the caption "guess who?"

We went up to the top to see Neo fighting Ruby, she shattered so Roman fired a shot from his cane and i fired a nail bullet.

She was knocked back and implanted her scythe into the airship to stop herself from falling off.

Roman: Oh little red... you really are determined to be the hero of Vale aren't you?

Ruby: What are you doing?! Without the ship the grimm will destroy everything!

Me: Why do you care? All you can do is destroy things

Roman pointed his cane at Ruby but she knocked him aside, Neo came in and hopped off her back before kicking her around the side of the head.

Ruby got up but Neo sent two kicks towards her naking Ruby stumble to the edge of the ship.

She narrowly evaded a nevermore slash before turning to us and opening her arms

Ruby: But why?! What do you get out of it!?

Roman: You're asking the wrong questions red. It's not what i have to gain. It's that that i can't afford to lose!

Me: When did you ever care about the consequences of your actions!? Or did you suddenly develop a conscience after i had my spine broken?!

She charged at us so Neo hopped over over shoulders and sent a double kick towards Ruby.

It hit, knocking her back as Neo manuvered to beside Roman. Ruby collected herself and swung her scythe but Neo knockes it up pulled her down by placing her umbrella infront of Ruby.

She spun her around and seperated Ruby from her weapon in mid air before Neo spun three times and kicked Ruby in the back.

Ruby waa flung towards Roman so he threw the butt of his cane at the ground and fired so it hit Ruby in the stomach before coming back to him as he caught it.

He spun his cane and went to fire at Ruby but i charged in as the cracks on my face spread and threw a violent punch into Ruby's stomach.

She was flung back and only managed to grip crescent rose as she dangled off the edge of the ship.

We approached her as she looked down towards the nevermore infested skies.

Roman: I may be a gambling man, but even i know there's some bets you just don't take. Like messing with Mr cracked face over here

A blade came out the top of Neo's parasol as she let it scrape the groynd while she walked towards Ruby.

Neo pointed the blade at Ruby as she kicked away a small nevermore that tried to bite her.

Roman: Like it or not the people who hired me are going to change the world. You can't stop 'em. I can't stop 'em! You know the old saying. If you can't beat 'em-

Suddenly Ruby presses the button to open up Neo's umbrella making her be dragged away into the wind.

Roman: NEO!

Ruby began to climb back up onto the airship as i stared at the fleeting figure of Neo

Ruby: I don't care what you say! We will stop them, and I will stop you! BET ON THAT!

She used her semblance and dashed around but Roman fired a shot from his cane and flung it at her using the grip.

Ruby got up but Roman hit her in chin before placing the butt of his cane on her chest and firing. She was thrown back as for some reason i felt conflicted.

Roman: Ya got spirit red. But this is the real world!

He began hitting her as she cowered on the floor not being able to do anything without her weapon.

Flashback start

Young Ruby: Big brother!

I looked over to see a young ruby running towards me with tears in her eyes.

Young Me: What's wrong?

Young Ruby: I hurt myself...

She showed me her knee amd i saw that there was a bruise on her knee.

I hugged her as she sniffled, rubbing her back she looked to me so i moved an arm and patted her head.

Young Me: It's okay Ruby, some day you'll be big and strong enough that this won't hurt anymore

Young Ruby: Really?

Young Me: Really...

Flashback end

He hit her again which made me snap, i shot a nail bullet at him which made him stumble back as stare at me in shock.

My face grew more cracks as my canines sharped and my nails extended into claws. I flipped my head up to him as snarled.

Me: I'LL KILL YOU DEAD!

Charging at him he deflected my punch but i head butted him and tripped him up.

Grabbing his leg i heaves him over my shoulder before slamming it on the ground before doing it again... and again and again and again and again and again!

I grabbed both his legs i began to spin him around before throwing him into the mouth of a nevermore that landed on the airship.

It roared and charged at me so i dashed towards it and extended my fingers like claws.

Slashing through the grimm it crashed amd exploded into the cockpit before i ran off the side and lept into the grimm infested skies.

Landing on a nevermore i dug my fingers into it's neck making it screech and dive bomb.

For some reason i was drawn towards Cinder... arriving beside her the nevermore crashed maling her smirk.

She began running into the school and i followed her, it just felt right ti do so...

We made it into a vault of some kind  and see Pyrrha in a pod glowing while screaming in pain and Amber...

Cinder fired and arrow into Amber's chest which killed her as well as drew the others attention.

The glow left Pyrrha and went back to Amber before an orange orb flew out of her and into Cinder.

She began to float as fire formed around her while Pyrrha banged against the inside of her pod.

Ozpin: STAY BACK!

Jaune charged at us but i fired a nail bullet and Cinder sent a fireball at him which he managed to block however it threw him backwards.

Pyrrha: Jaune!

Pyrrha knocked of the hatch and used her semblance to send it towards Cinder, she knocked it aside as Pyrrha brought back her weapons but Ozpin blocked her.

Ozpin: Take Jaune and get out of here! Find Glynda! Ironwood! Qrow! Bring them here right away! The tower cannot fall!

Pyrrha: But, i can help.

Ozpin: You'll only get in the way.

Jaune and Pyrrha ran away as i watched them, i went to go after them but Cinder placed a hand on my shoulder stopping me in my tracks.

Cinder landed as she stopped glowing and stared down Ozpin.

Cinder: This whole time, right beneath our feet. She was right about you... Such arrogance.

I stepped back as they fought, flashes of red and green appeared as they clashed against eachother.

Cinder slid back as the ground was set on fire beneath her feet, she spun her arms as the air froze creating ice spikes.

She launched them at Ozpin but he broke them all amd dashed towards her.

He thrustes at her with his cane rapidly before doing it one last time knocking her back.

She created a huge fire back but a black mist surrounded me as i lost control of my body.

Walking towards Ozpin they stared at me shocked as i opened my mouth and the mist billowed out my mouth.

Me/Salem: Such arrogance... Thinking that you can stop what is destined to come... how pitiful

Ozpin: Salem what have you done to this boy?!

Me/Salem: It's not what i've done. Your arrogance, your plan to stop me, your blind eye to the real problem caused this!

Cinder: My grace I-

Me/Salem: Cinder, leave me to handle this. It will be... cathartic.

She nodded and ran off, Ozpin tried to stop her but i fired a nail bullet at him which was empowered by something.

He was sent back and his feet skidded across the floor before he looked back to me

Ozpin: Y/N i know you're in there! Fight back against her!

Me/Salem: Oh Ozma, did you think i'd take over his body unwillingly? No i'm not as you are. Besides... this'll be over quickly... I know it won't kill you permanently but i'd like to see the capabilities of the relic of destruction.

Before he could say anthing my hand was covered by a pitch black mist before i fired it into Ozpin's chest.

He gasped and clutched it before disappearing into ash only leaving behind his cane.

Salem left my body as i fell to my knees panting, slowly i got back up and climbed the tower, joining Cinder at the top.

The Grimm dragon was visible through a window and it roared but Cinder shushed it.

Cinder: Shh... This is your home now

It let out a small roar before staying there, a flame lit in Cinder's hand but she extinguished it when the elavyor screeched and came up to here.

It opened and Pyrrha's sword was thrown at Cinder but she moved to the side, dodging it.

Her shield was at Cinder and Pyrrha kicked it mid-air as Cinder blocked with her forearms.

Pyrtha brought back her weapons with her semblance and got into a stance as Cinder made herself float in place.

Cinder threw two streams of fire which Pyrrha dodged by rolling to the right.

She barely dodged another and spun on the spot before Cinder unleashed a stream of fire.

Pyrrha blocked it and charged forward but Cinder grabbed her sword before it struck her.

She looked to me shocked as i appeare infront of her and threw a punch into her mid section flinging her to the wall.

Hitting the wall she dropped her weapons and fell to her hands and knees before standing up.

Cinder used her flames to send herself over but Pyrrha wrapped and arm around one of Cinders and used the wall to boost her before she hoisted Cinder over her shoulders and threw her back.

Cinder back flipped as Pyrrha brought back her weapons she charged at Cinder but i got in the way and she hit my stomach with her shield.

Pyrrha spun and slashed at me which i deflected with my hands and back kicked Pyrrha up sending her up and me into a backflip.

In mid air Pyrrha threw her sword at Cindee but it was deflected as Cinder's eyes glowed with flames around them.

She deflected Pyrrha's shield but was tackled by her, a cloud of smoke was formed and when it went away i saw Pyrrha had her arm around Cinder's neck as she held back Pyrrha's sword.

She stood up and began to heat up Pyrrha's sword before the grimm dragon came flying towards us.

The sword snapped and i punched Pyrrha across the room as all the glass shattered and the ceiling and walls came off.

Pyrrha reached for her shield as Cinder was floating just infront of her. Pyrrha used her semblance and threw a piece of debree at Cinder knocking her away as she picked up her shield.

Getting out the wreckage, Cinder threw balls of fire at Pyrrha as she could only dodge but one hit her shield sending her rolling back

She threw her shield but i slapped it aside, not noticing the giant gears Pyrrha picked up she attacked Cinder and me with them and buried us.

However Cinder blasted them apart and Pyrrha was thrown against a wall and fell.

Pyrrha got up and threw her shield but i grabbed it in mid air and tore it in two before Cinder fired an arrow and it split around my head before reforming and going through Pyrrha's ankle.

Pyrrha: Ugh!

She tried to stand but something snapped and fell back down.

Cinder: It's unfortunate you were promised a power that was never truly yours.

She walked infront of Pyrrha and grabbed her by the chin before raising it so they could look eye to eye.

Cinder: But take comfort in knowing that i will use it in ways you could never have imagined.

Pyrrha: Do you believe in destiny-

Me: Of course not!

I kicked her in the ribs and sent her rolling across the floor as i snarled at her.

I began to stomp om her back as Cinder watched on in amusement.

Me: People who believe in that are those who can't accept that it's their fault they screwed up!

Cinder grabbed my shoulder and gently pulled me back before conjuring up her bow and firing an arrow into Pyrrha's chest.

She began to struggle for breath and grasped at her chest while i gained back control signified by the cracks on my face receeding.

Oh god... what have i done?

I looked down to my hands as Pyrrha was turned to ash by Cinder. Her circlet was all that was left which was dropped by Cinder.

?: PYRRHA!!!

A bright white light began to approach me so i hopped off the tower before it encompassed it.

I managed to land safely and watched as Pyrrha's ashes moved in the wind. Taking a step forward i began to chase them as tears ran down my cheeks and my visible eye glowed

I did this... it's all my fault...
