Once you were within the walls of Rhys' home, an air of relief washed over you. You never thought that you would feel safe, feel content there but compared to being locked within Rosehall, anything was better.

You took a seat and a deep breath, reminding yourself that you were safe, and you were away.

"Are you going to tell me what happened?" He asked, sitting down opposite you, equally looking concerned yet cocky from having you call him to assistant.

"He locked me in," you stated. "He trapped me in that bloody place."

For once Rhys didn't say anything, he just let you speak, let you take a moment to gather your thoughts and tell him about what had been going on.

"I didn't know who else would help me. I didn't even know if you'd hear me. I just broke down the shield and shouted as loud as I could. I couldn't stay there. I couldn't be a prisoner again," you croaked, trying to stop the emotion overflowing but were failing at it rather quickly.

"I told you that you were welcome here as my guest whenever you wished, all you had to do was ask," he assured you. "And that is what you did."

You sniffled, trying to keep in your tears. "I can't go back there. I can't see him after he did that to me."

Rhys nodded his head to you, not wishing to give his opinion on the matter, proving that he was fully capable at keeping his mouth shut and not be a complete pain in the arse.

"You can stay as long as you want to. You simply need to tell me if or when you wish to return back to the Spring Court and I will take you. Until then you are welcome to stay here, even if you wish to never return."

"Thank you," you whispered. "Truly. I don't know what I would have done if I wasn't able to get through to you."

He let out a chuckle. "Luckily for you, you were far from subtle. It was hard to not listen when all I could hear was your screaming."

You apologised for disturbing him, genuinely apologetic for being a bother but knowing that it was for the best, at least the best for you to no longer be stuck there.

"Y/N darling, you could never bother me, I enjoy your company far more than your stubbornness grates upon me."
