Morrigan- Pool: Part 2 (c)

Your breath hitched in as Mor continued to walk into the pool, lowering herself under the surface of water until she disappeared from view. You waited for a moment before she reappeared, her head blond hair clinging to her head and neck before floating on the water's surface around her. Mor let out a sigh, tipping her head back onto the water again, letting the sunbeams from between the branches of the trees dance upon her face.

"Are you coming in?" She asked, looking back up at you.

You bit your lower lip not certain. You were nervous to strip down to your undergarments in front of her and hadn't been given enough time to mentally prepare for this spontaneous swimming session.

"I don't know."

Mor rolled her eyes swiping a hand across the water, dragging a handful up to splash in your direction. She missed. Once again, she splashed at the water until you were hit with it, dampening the clothes you wore. You shot her a look, trying to be annoyed at her but it was hard to fight back the smile that was trying to curl onto your lips.

"Come on," she laughed, continuing the onslaught of water.

You tried to defend yourself with your hands, but it was a futile attempt, resulting in you laughing loudly and begging her to stop. Mor didn't stop until you admitted defeat. With dying laughter you stripped down to your undergarments and joined her in the water, already soaked through anyway from being splashed by Mor.

"Happy?" You asked.

Mor nodded her head. "Very."

She didn't miss a beat before slapping a hand to the water, forcing it up to splash you once again. You playfully narrowed your eyes at her before retaliating the action, causing a quickly growing war of water being thrown back and forth as you both fell into fits of laughing.

The two of you kept messing around and enjoying your day until the chill of the evening set in and it got to the point where you needed to get out of the water and return back home before anyone was worried about your location. You thanked Mor for senseless fun, the break from the worry of the inevitable war, the day away from the rest of your responsibilities or concerns, only needing to focus on being happy with your close friend. She assured you that she would bring you back one day before the two of you got dressed and she winnowed you back home.
