Lucien Vanserra- Bite (c)

Although they tried to offer you everything you could ever want at the Spring Court, they couldn't offer you the one thing you wanted- freedom. You did not want to be there at all and no matter how well you were treated, being in the lion's den was never going to end well for you. Lucien had shown you a great deal of kindness that you didn't expect from a fae, and although you had become fond of him, he was not going to be a reason for you to want to stay in Prythian.

It had finally become enough, and you weren't going to stay any longer. You had been secretly packing up a bag in case you got a chance to escape, and this was the time. You snuck out of the manor and headed to the forest, your heart beating painfully against your chest. Although you knew that Tamlin and Lucien wouldn't hurt you, you knew that there were many fae that would and most that you were not going to be able to defend yourself against. You tried to dismiss the thought, but you couldn't help the worry as you checked your small, folded map, hoping it would be of enough use to guide you back to your home in the mortal lands.

You ducked through an opening in the overgrowth, to be met by the redhead who had been trying to make you feel at home.

"And what brings you out here?" He questioned. "You know of the dangers that these forests hold for a mortal."

You tried to not show him emotion, not wanting to let him see the disappoint of being caught, or the relief that you had to have been found by him rather than a fae that would have done you harm.

"I am going home, Lucien. Get out of my way," you said firmly.

Both of you were aware that if he wanted to, he could literally snap you like a twig, so any fret you tried to throw his way was rather futile.

"This is your home," he corrected. "You shall be killed before daybreak if you head off on your own."

"Then either escort me back to the wall or I shall be bidding you adieu."

Keeping your head high, you went to walk past him, your arm brushing his, hoping that if you seemed confident enough, he would either leave you be or be convinced to assist you.

"You are not going anywhere but back to your room," he stated, gently taking your hand, not wishing to be forceful with you, and hoping that part of you would wish to stay there, stay with him.

"You can't stop me."

You continued walking, him following, still holding onto your hand. He let out a sigh, knowing you were far too stubborn to return to the manor house on your own volition. Even though he didn't want things to lead to this, he felt as though he didn't have a choice.

In one swift movement, he wrapped his arms around your middle and slung you over his shoulder as though you were as light as a feather.

"Put me down, Lucien!" You demanded, slamming your fist against his back, realistically not causing him any form of pain or problem.

"Will you be civil and return back to your room?" He asked.

"Yes," You lied.

Lucien chuckled. "I know that you're lying to me."

You let out a huff, continuing to pound against his back, trying to get him to put you down as he headed back towards the manor. You tried to come up with another plan, and although it wasn't the best of plans, you came up with something. You seized your hitting and instead held onto his shoulder, pushing his shirt from it and biting down as hard as you could.

He paused, letting out a quiet grunt. It wasn't the most painful thing for him, but it certainly wasn't a pleasant feeling for a human to bite into his shoulder. Lucien placed you back onto the floor, peering to try and look at the wound you left on him.

"Did you just bite me?"

You tried to take your shot and run but you barely got two paced before he had grabbed you again, this time carrying you under his arm, so you were unable to get your mouth anywhere near him.

"It was worth a shot," you frowned, limply hanging as he carried you.
