Busted Gulch has a secret kept

Under the rugs, it has been swept

Lost, forgotten, a memory ill

The truth lies buried on Boot Hill

But one in town, in silence still

Knows the secret buried on Boot Hill

He or she has kept it hidden

For to reveal the truth would be forbidden

But I know the truth all to well

And its time for me, the truth, to tell

And though they have told no other

The Boot Hill resident, is their brother

And it was they that put me there

Did I say 'me', Busted Gulch ...
