The Dark World Pt. 3
I wake up, the moon still luminous among the grey sky cover. Light sparkles shiver in the sky around the half present white glow with no known source for its appearance. I look around my never changing room. A small slanted window working with the mountains slope, a wooden dresser, my sleeping platform and a circular mirror. I smell something tasty from inside the kitchen and walk out while rubbing the drowsiness from my eyes. A mixture of herbs and animal meats lay on the wooden board, being sliced delicately by the dark grey long haired man.
"Mornin'," I mumble, half-asleep.
He turns his head around though he continues slicing the meat. "I hope you don't mind me using your food. I wanted to surprise you for when you woke up," he tells me. It was then that I realised his shirt was off and his grey chest was laying bare for me to see. My cheeks freeze.
"I don't mind at all." I walk up to stand beside him and watch as he slices the meat. "When did you get so good with a knife? It's amazing."
"I had to do most of the house work because my parents were working really hard to make dolari in order to provide for us."
"How many siblings do you have?"
"Well, I had five but now have four."
I stare into his emotionless eyes, oddly not looking any different from before. "If you don't mind me asking, what happened to the fifth?"
Seth doesn't look at me and just continues to chop the sobolan into bit-sized slices. "Well, breakfast is ready," he says with a forced smile (which I have always been good at noticing).
We sit down and eat in silence on either side of the couch. The sobolan is tender but chewy, it tastes amazing. I want to know what happened to Seth's sibling but I don't want to push it.
"How did you like it?" He asks after we both finish.
"It was amazing! How could I ever repay you?" I genuinely ask.
"You could... let me use the library again. I want to look at the bo-eks again. I think I may know someone who can translate some of the information into Danish for us," he tells me.
"Really? That's so cool," I respond happily.
"Just let me get changed first. I don't want to be wearing these all day." I chuckle and leave to change into knee length shorts and a t-shirt.
Seth greets me upon returning. "Can you put your shirt back on?" I ask quietly as I scan his top half of his body.
"Is it distracting you?" He teases.
"No, I just... I just want you to put your shirt on is all," I justify.
He lets out a low husky laugh a pulls his shirt back on. "Take me away, princess," he teases, making me feel all light and happy inside.
"D-Don't say that, Seth."
"Why? It's not illegal Gaizka." He says. I walk up the spiral staircase and open the door for him to go through. He slowly walks to the back part of the room and pulls out the book we saw from two days ago. I walk up to him.
"Why do you want to translate that, Seth?" I ask.
"I'm intrigued to know what it's saying." I nod. He grabs another two boeks, all with interesting writing on the front.
Seth soon leaves with three boeks to give to the translator guy. I lie on my bed, thinking about how he makes me feel. Luckily I have an off day at work so I don't have to bother with the time.
I spend a long time thinking about the guy I've fallen in love with and how perfect he is. How sweet gentle he is and also his beautiful figure. I gradually fall asleep to the thought of him.
