It was another tedious evening for Kade and Dean as they had finished a questionable case that took a huge chunk of their day. As a reward for solving the case, they were granted a release from their duties until tomorrow's case. Kade had gone to Aaron's bar to relax while Dean accompanied him given that they had a healthy friendship to maintain. Kade entered the alleyway while Dean headed into the bar to get something to drink. While he waited, he brought out a pack of cigars, opened it up, took out one cigar, and put it in his mouth. Before Kade brought out his metallic lighter, Dean witnessed what he was doing with two cans of Surge in his hand. And sat on the bench beside him. Kade kept the cigar inside his mouth but did not go for the lighter and collected the Surge can that was in Kade's left hand.They chatted about their plans for the night prior to tomorrow's case as they both cracked open their cold canned beverages to relieve themselves of that tedious case with a relaxed toast. They put the case aside to chat about other things outside of their job and joked about them. And after the jokes, and informal banter. Kade sarcastically offered him a smoke of his unlit cigar from his mouth to which Dean declined. Before they left, Kade tossed the unlit cigar in the trash near Aaron's Bar and left with his friend Dean, still carrying on with their previous conversation.....
