Special Containment Procedures - SCP-3169 is to be contained within a simple four by a four meter cage in a five by five meter cement room with a single window. It is capable of going through both the cage and cement walls so constant guarding is necessary. The cage is to be cleaned of dust and dirt once a week.

Description - SCP-NYD takes on the form a blurry and deformed male human child hovering around the age of four or five. SCP-NYD is in a constant state of vibration, never still even while unconscious. The SCP seems to understand the concept of covering one's self and has stolen jackets, socks, and pants off of staff members. At the time of this report, it is wearing a small women's track jacket, a pair of men's dress socks, and a floral patterned scarf.

SCP-3169 is believed to be a sufferer of Treacher Collin's syndrome. Though researchers have been unsuccessful at constructing an image of his face, his deformations are thought to make him appear much like the boy in the above picture.

SCP-3169 will almost always participate in the 'play' sessions. During the sessions, he will speed up his vibrations to speeds that should not be possible under our universe's laws of physics. It will then move around the cage at a speed that varies from four to seven kilometers per hour while keeping his vibrations at a steady pace. It will go by the 'playmates' and vibrate his hand through the epidermis layer of their skin.

The 'playmates' say that the 'playing' experience triggers their fight or flight response and that it's hard to stay still for SCP-3169. Many personnel who stay with SCP-3169 for more than a week say that they begin to feel parental affection towards the SCP. One staff member, ███ ██████, who worked with it for more than two years under the alias of 'Jane', asked if she could take SCP-3169 out of containment to show him the outside world. Her request was, of course, declined.

SCP-3169 has shown signs of having a higher cognitive ability. Its speech is unable to be understood by an average human but when researchers slowed down what little communication that has been recorded, the language was identified as fifteenth century Gaelic. SCP-3169 has responded to instructions given in modern English and modern Gaelic. It appears to crave maternal attention from female 'playmates' and researchers that come in contact with it. SCP-3169 has called out the aliases of its favorite 'playmates' on multiple occasions. SCP-3169 has even begun to respond to the pet names of 'Gregory' that his 'playmates' have given him.

Recovery - SCP-NYD was found unconscious at a public park in ████ ████, ████. It was wearing a shredded men's dress shirt covered in, what has been identified as, human blood with a pair of children's sandals. The blood was never traced back to any person, but it is suspected that SCP-NYD killed a man and took the shirt. It was taken in by the SCP without incident on ███ ██, ████.

Addendum - The reason for playmates is because of SCP-3169's childlike mindset. When it was left alone in his cage without any external stimulation for three days, it vibrated through the bars. It attacked multiple staff members, leaving many of them in critical condition. It has a single confirmed kill, █████ █████, a D-class staff member who acted as his 'playmate' under the alias of 'Mary'.

While in the cage with SCP-3169, 'Mary' made a remark on SCP-3169's appearance. It promptly sped up to speed that the researchers were unable to measure and punched █████ █████ in the abdomen. She died instantly due to many ruptured organs and shock.

The other 'playmate', ███ ██████ or 'Jane', and ████████ ████ or 'Thomas' the guard, were on duty and both gave their testimonies of the incident.

Interviewer - "Do either of you recall exactly what happened at the time of the kill?"

'Jane' - "I wasn't expecting it to happen... One moment I heard █████, say something and the next thing I know —there was blood all over the place and █████ was dead... There was so much blood..."

'Thomas' - "I was more than three meters away from Gregory when he killed █████. I don't know what she said exactly to set him but I knew it was something about how he looks a little funny."

Interviewer - "What do you think of SCP-3169's actions?"

Both refused to give a response.
