Ferris Wheel

(A/n): This is a little fluff short story thingy that I wrote during church today. My friend wrote the first couple lines and then gave it to me to finish. Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoy!

Our hands brush softly as we get on the Ferris wheel.

"Shut up!" She says playfully as we enter our car.

"Make me," I mumble back.

A few seconds after our car lifts up, I see a smirk on her face. "I will once we get to the top."

I resist the urge to let my jaw drop at her confident and flirty statement. Instead, I quirk my eyebrow up. "Oh?"

She nods, a serious expression on her face.

"Oh, yeah," she confirms in a mysterious, promising tone. "I'll shut you up for sure."

I shift in my seat in anticipation. "I can't wait to see that."

The car rises slowly into the air until the view reveals the entire city from a bird's perspective. It dawns on me that our car is at the top and she has leaned forward. Her flowery aroma curls around me like a snake and clouds my mind in a happy daze. I feel her breath tickle my cheek as I turn to face her.

"So," I begin. "How were you planning on sh-"

I am cut off by her soft lips being pressed against mine. I suck in a breath of surprise. Before I can wrap my head around what is happening, she pulls away, winks, and gazes triumphantly out the window.

This time, my jaw does drop. My mouth continues to open and close several times with no sound coming out. I stare at her soft features in utter shock. The Ferris wheel car comes to a stop at the bottom and she stands to leave. She begins to walk out, then realizes I'm not following her. Her honey-colored hair whips around as she turns to look at me, a smirk plastered on her face.

"You coming?"
