Coping with loss
Life is not as simple as you think it is . It is a mixture of thorns and flowers. Many ups and downs will occur. It may sound simple to cope up with these mishaps but the one undergoing the mental trauma knows how tough it is. If a person is unable to cope up with these sorrows then it may affect the health and mental stability of the person . The person may go into depression or have mixed feelings of denial, disbelief, confusion, shock, sadness, yearning ,anger , humiliation,despair and guilt . One may start to eagerly wait for death to knock ones door. It is also quite unsettling and frightening for one to cope up with the loss, crisis or the life changing event. The grief of losing a dear one or something precious is intense .
To over come the grief one should talk to a close friend or a spouse as it will help to a great deal. Counseling on how to cope up with it or how to live with it may help a lot. Distracting your mind with the things you love may also help to a great deal. Motivation is also something which helps one to rise out of this trauma . Don not allow your life to come to a stand still. Remember isolation is never the solution but facing it is. Let the pain flow out through all possible means. Keeping it to yourself is never the going to help . It will double the pain but sharing it lightens it. Life is never a bed full of roses . It is said that time heals everything . It may take a lot of time but trust me time is that power which can heal or destroy everything
