Le gasp, I'm doing a reader insert now XD I don't know why, I'm curious as to how this will go, I'm going to be writing for Doitsu, because it's my favorite number, and one of my favorite words in German is Nein, which sounds like it, so yeah XD Ok, so this is what I've seen happen for reader inserts, I think I'm going to be organized and say that (Y/N)= Your Name
(Y/E)= Your Eye color
(Y/H)= Your Hair color
(Y/F/C)= Your Favorite Color

There was another bright day, or so it appeared before it started raining. The droplets fell from the sky like millions of bullets impaling the ground. (Y/N) looked outside her window, amazed by the strength of today's rain. She looked on in amazement; (Y/N) always loved the rain. After some thought, she wanted to go outside and just walk in the rain. She could always shower afterwards. Slipping on her favorite old pair of tennis shoes, she got up and ran over to her door, turning the knob and swinging it right open. A couple of raindrops kissed her face as she proceeded out of her home and into the darker setting. The cold water made her skin tingle, and she felt her soft (Y/H) hair getting damper and damper as she was showered with the cold droplets.

(Y/N) sighed peacefully, zipping her (Y/F/C) sweatshirt up and placing her hoodie up whilst plugging in her earbuds, one of her many favorite songs playing. She looked up at the sky and saw it light up a couple of times. Dang, it looks like the rain is going to turn into a practical storm. She flinched slightly at the loud sound of thunder and moved away from the nearby tree, and noticed the rain falling harder. She was already pretty drenched, and was about to turn back before she noticed a figure jogging in the rain. She blushed as she noticed the person wearing a thin black tank top that was already sticking to his body, showing off his muscular body. As she squinted, (Y/N) recognized who it was and shook her head. Even the rain can't stop Ludwig's training. It's almost like a religious practice to him.

(Y/N) already knew a lot about her friend. She's actually next door neighbors with the fit blonde man. She's seen him run with his two other friends, one who'd frequently hide in her home from the slightly intimidating man in order to not train. Sometimes the German would invite her to go train with them to which she'd sometimes agree to. She's noticed that whenever she joins them, the training isn't as painful as she's seen the other two undergo under the blonde. She also knew about their secret identities but kept them a secret.

Funnily enough, the young girl had fallen in love with the stern man. Despite his apparently cold nature, he was quite the softy. She couldn't help but fall for his strong personality and how he could be awkward at times since he wasn't much of a social butterfly. It was honestly quite adorable to her. And don't get her started with his thick German accent.

"Hey Ludwig, what are you doing out here?" The (Y/H) called out to the German. The said man slowed his pace down until he was jogging in place and looked over to meet the gaze of the female. Truth is, he's also had a crush on the (Y/E/) eyed girl for a while now and he's been planning on telling her at some point. Yet his heart always cowered in fear of the possibility of her rejecting him. When he looked at her he couldn't help but blush at how beautiful she looked under the rain, some of her (Y/H) bangs plastered onto her face, with a couple of droplets adorning her whole body. He was only brought out of his daze when the lightning roared once more. He jogged over to (Y/N) and greeted her.

"Hallo (Y/N), I'm just jogging out here. Zhe real question is, vhat are you doing here?"

"I'm just enjoying the rain, you know, nothing special," (Y/N) replied while kicking at the small rock that was close to her foot.

Their little reunion was cut short when a ray of lightning struck a close tree nearby, alarming the two people. A couple of large branches from the tree came falling fast, and Ludwig was quick to push (Y/N) out of the way, resulting in the two falling down, one on top of the other. He covered her until her heard the tree branches hit the ground, some twigs breaking from the branches and hitting his back. When he looked up, he noticed that the branches were dangerously close to them. "(Y/N), are you okay?"

(Y/N) rubbed her head and nodded at Ludwig. She suddenly blushed, noticing their position. Ludwig was puzzled, perplexed at why the girl looked bashful until the realization hit him and he too became a blushing mess. He moved himself away and got up, and then offered a hand in (Y/N)'s direction. The (Y/H)-haired girl accepted his hand and Ludwig pulled her up a little too quickly and embraced her so she wouldn't fall. The two gazed into each other's eyes, and the blonde man felt himself leaning in involuntarily. (Y/N) also leaned in and shut her eyes close, and soon her soft lips came into contact with Ludwig's own lips. The two kissed each other under the rain, and hardly pulled away from each other. (Y/N) hung her arms around Ludwig's neck while the German placed one hand on either side of the girl's soft face, and pulled her in closer. It was as if they were creating an electrifying kiss (;3). They broke apart once they heard another shock of lightning. The German gazed into (Y/N)'s bright (Y/E) eyes with such a strong sense of love that he found himself confessing his love to her.

"Ich liebe dich, (Y/N). I love you. I've had a crush on you for a vhile now, but my heart vas too much of a covard to ask you earlier. I vould like to ask you zhis important question: vill you be my girlfriend?"

The said girl blushed deeply, her heart pounding. "I-I love you too Ludwig," she stammered, her lips curling upwards into a large smile, a smile Ludwig has always loved. With more confidence, (Y/N) spoke more assertively with her response to Ludwig's question.

"Of course I'll be your girlfriend!"

Ludwig himself cracked a rare smile and brought the girl close to him with his strong arms. After embracing her for a while, he heard (Y/N) sneeze and decided that they'd been in the rain long enough.

"How about ve go back inside. I'll bring you back to your home," Ludwig offered, and (Y/N) nodded.

"Yeah, let's hope that we get home safely though, what with the lightning and all," (Y/N) joked, earning a chuckle from the blonde guy.

And so the two walked hand in hand back towards (Y/N)'s house where they said goodbye with a kiss. The (Y/H)-haired girl watched as her new boyfriend walked away and went into his own house and soon headed back into the warm comfort of her humble abode, sighing to herself. This was one heck of a rainy day, she thought to herself.

This one-shot has ended. I know, I know, it was probably too short, especially for me XD I just thought that with all this rain that's been going on where I live, I should make a one-shot about rain XD plus there was a ton of lightning, so it was pretty fitting I think.
