"Mrs. Druitt, it looks like you're having a boy!!" Eclipse's doctor, Ms. Christine, informed the brunette during her ultrasound. Eclipse felt overjoyed as she saw her little baby on the screen.

"Francis, we're going to have a son!!" Eclipse exclaimed while holding her husband's hand. Francis smiled, and kissed the knuckles on Eclipse's hand and said, "Yes, we are. I'm so ecstatic, I really can't wait for our child to come."

"Me too Francis, me too." Eclipse smiled and looked over to Francis, who was just about ready to hug Eclipse, but didn't because they were still in the hospital and because he wanted to keep his child safe.

"I can't wait for you to come join our family my future flirting son," Francis cooed while placing a hand carefully over Eclipse's belly. The baby could be seen squirming, and Francis felt what could have possibly been a small tender hand under his palm. The couple laughed, and the doctor said, "Well you don't have to wait much longer. I'd say that Eclipse is due in a couple of weeks." The couple looked at each other with a passionate loving gaze, and Francis couldn't stop showering Eclipse with kisses, much to her embarrassment since the doctor was still there.

Once Eclipse's appointment was finished, she went into the car, insisting that she didn't need help from Francis. Of course, Francis was just as stubborn, and decided to drive carefully to pick up Thistle and Dusty from Musical's home which was currently being used as a babysitting place. Dusty ran jumping into her father's arms, already asking a ton of questions, and Thistle walked over, keeping her excitement in, until they finally arrived to their home. That's when both girls asked their parents, "What is our new sibling going to be????!!!"

Both parents chuckled, and Eclipse looked at both her daughters while Francis caressed her hand, and said, "You're going to have a little brother soon." The two girls erupted into cheers, hugging their parents. "I would have wanted to have a little sister to see how Thistle felt being a big sister to a little sister, but I'm also excited about having a baby brother!!" Dusty said while hugging her mother's belly. "I think it's going to be awesome having a little bro, though hopefully it won't be a pain," Thistle commented, also hugging her mother's belly. Francis chuckled, saying, "Well knowing how you two get along with each other, I'd say that it wouldn't be that much different."

The moment had arrived. Eclipse had finally given birth to a healthy baby boy, and Francis was holding his son in his arms. "Your son is quite the looker, he's going to become a dashing young man like his father," the doctor, Ms. Christine commented while looking at the gurgling baby. "All of your children have been adorable," she added and congratulated Eclipse and Francis for another child. "What should we name him?" Francis asked his wife, sitting near her while still holding the squealing baby. "I'm not entirely sure," Eclipse said, pondering. An idea came into Francis' head. "How does Thornton sound?" Eclipse gasped and nodded, saying "That's a wonderful name! He will be named Thornton."

At that moment, the baby boy looked at his father and much to both the parents' surprise, he smirked. Francis gasped silently. He felt a various amount of emotions coming over him. "He smirked my dear little rose!!! Our son smirked!!!" Eclipse giggled at Francis' currently childish behaviour and said, "Yes Francis, he smirked just like you."

"He's going to be a fine flirt."

"Yeah, he will." Eclipse smiled, happy to see her husband's face glowing with happiness. We're having a mini flirting Francis soon.

"Come Thornton, come to papa," Francis called out to the baby boy who was currently crawling. Eclipse and Francis were trying to get Thornton to walk, and funnily enough Musical and Eric came over. Eric hadn't been able to see Thornton as much, and Musical thought that it would be good for Eric to have some experience around children, even though Eric believes that being around her and Taiyou was enough. Thistle and Dusty were watching next to Musical and cheered on with her for Thornton to go to Francis. "Pa-papa," Thornton spoke as he crawled over to Francis. Eric simply rolled his eyes at the brunette next to her. Thornton soon reached his father and squealed as he was scooped into his loving father's arms. "Okay, now go to Maman," Francis cooed, and Eclipse opened her arms and clapped, saying, "Come Thornton, you can do it!"

"Go-Go, Go Thornton! Go-Go, Go Thornton!" Thistle, Dusty and Musical cheered. Francis set Thornton down, and Thornton started walking with his knees shakily. Dusty went over to her brother and said, "Look Thornton, like this! Look at your big sister Dusty walk!" Dusty walked slowly over to Eclipse's side, earning the giggles of both Eclipse and Musical. Thornton giggled and clapped, and Eclipse said, "Yes, let's clap for Dusty! Now it's your turn Thistle." Eclipse looked over to her brown-haired daughter who blushed, saying, "T-This is s-sorta silly, but ok, I'll do it for Thornton." She got up, and walked over to Thornton, saying, "Here, you have to get up, off your knees, and walk like Dusty showed you, here, let me walk you to Dad." Thistle picked Thornton upright, turned him over to Francis' side, holding him by his arms and walked backwards, pulling him forward. Thornton laughed, finding amusement in what his sisters were doing. "Okay, now you have to do it by yourself and walk over to Mom. I know you can do it!" Thistle extended her hand out to her smaller brother, and Thornton remembered that that meant that he had to hit her hand with his own. He gave Thistle a high-five, earning a smile from the brunette, and then Francis pulled him back up. "Go to Maman, son, you can do it."

Thornton tried staying up by himself, feeling a bit shaky initially. Soon he lifted a shaking foot, and placed it forward. This earned the attention of everyone in the room. Thornton tried to maintain his balance and soon brought his other foot over, and earned a couple of happy shouts from his mini group of cheerleaders. Eclipse was smiling, her arms stretched out, ready to receive her son. He started stumbling, but in a while he managed to get to Eclipse, saying "Ma-mamamama!"

Everyone cheered, including Eric, much to everyone else's surprise. He smiled at the small child, and Musical laughed, saying, "See? Aren't children wonderful?"

Eric kept smiling, and said, "Yeah, I think I'm more willing to babysit now, even if I'm not that experienced."

"Group hug!!" Everyone hugged Eclipse and Thornton, causing the small child to erupt into another fit of giggles.

Time flew and soon Thornton was now around 12 years old. He's grown into a wonderful child, and some feelings have also grown for a certain girl. He walked over to his father Francis who was picking him up from a play date at Larkin's house. He hugged his dad, who said, "Hey Thornton, how was your play date?"

"Did you catch anyone's hearts?" The golden brown haired man added jokingly as the two proceeded to walk home. Thornton laughed nervously, knowing how his father jokes with him about those sorts of things, and decided that he would be sincere with his response.

"Actually, mine was."

Francis looked down at his son, taken slightly aback, and said, "Come again?"

Thornton scratched his neck, blushing, and said, "W-Well, there's this girl that I've got a crush on, t-though I really think I might have a chance, and I think she likes me too!"

Francis turned to his son and said, "Do you really like her that way, Thornton? I first want to ask you that."

"Yeah, I do. I've done some thinking, though I want to catch her heart. W-What would you do dad?" Thornton paused, looking at his father's ocean blue eyes. He knew more or less of how he took the news of finding out that one of his children had found love at such a young age, for instance his older sister Dusty, and was slightly nervous on how his father would react. But at the same time, he wants to be with his crush, Miyako.

"Son, you know how I feel about you having a relationship at such a young age. I know I'm probably too over protective, but I'm that way for a reason." He kneeled down so he could be his son's height more or less, and grabbed his shoulders.

"I know Dad, but I really like her. And, I don't want to lose her."

Francis looked into his son's eyes, finding only his own reflection in them. He sighed, and said, "I've become very yielding, haven't I?"

Thornton asked, "What does yielding mean?"

Francis chuckled, saying, "I'm not being to strict as I'd say that I should be, that's more or less what I'm trying to say, Thornton." He ruffled his son's hair, earning a laugh from the boy, and said, "Alright, I'll help you. Just one condition. Who's this girl you've fallen in love with?"

"S-She's Myako," Thornton admitted, his face flushing slightly. Francis grinned, and said, "Well she's a nice girl isn't she?" Thornton looked up at his father and nodded, smiling back.

"Well, the secret is to be romantic. You know how your father is nicknamed Mr. Flirt by Musical, right?"

"Yup, she tends to call you that a lot!"

"Yes, well, it's always good to be nice to the girl you like, and be chivalrous."

"So I have to be like a knight?" Thornton questioned, remembering that he read something about knights being "chivalrous."

"Well, sort of. You have to be like a gentleman, for instance, open the door for her, ask her first about things like holding her hand-"

"Like Uncle Shane?"

Francis laughed, and said, "Again, not quite, but you're sort of getting the idea. Shane doesn't have to ask all the time for doing simple things like holding your Aunt Akiyume's hand since they're already married. But the most important thing to do is to let her know how you feel, and to take things slowly. You can do that by being flirty, and wink in her direction, or give her gifts like roses. Those help capture her young heart."

"Oh, okay!" Thornton smiled, saluting to his father. Before they both knew it, they had arrived at their home, where an eager Eclipse was waiting for her two gentlemen. Thornton looked to his father and hugged him, saying, "Thanks dad, I knew I could count on you!" He ran over to his mother, kissing her on the cheek and ran inside, going into his room.

"What was that about "counting on you?" Eclipse inquired to her approaching husband. Francis kissed Eclipse's lips, and said, "Our son is growing up to be a gentleman, ready to catch the heart of his first love it seems."
