Syo, Otoya, and Moonlight were taking a nice stroll outside. The scenery was giving off blatant autumn vibes with the trees changing colors like chameleons. There were vivid scarlets, oranges and golden yellows. They coated the ground, created a sort of mosaic.

"Syo, Otoya, look at the leaves!" Moonlight pointed at the falling crimson leaves. Syo grinned and said, "Yeah, the leaves look cool during fall."

"They look so pretty," Otoya breathed, an obvious smile on the boy's face.

"Definitely, they're the color of your eyes and hair," Moonlight said with a cheerful grin. Otoya blushed and smiled. "Moon-chan," he breathed. He always found himself being swayed by Moonlight's words.

"Well, how do you two feel about the festival today?" asked Syo. He readjusted the fedora atop his head. "I think it's going to be so much fun! Though I have to go get a kimono since it's a kimono themed festival," said Moonlight. "Oh yeah, we have to buy outfits for that," said Syo.

"But first, can we make a pile of leaves and jump in them?" Otoya asked timidly and poked his two index fingers simultaneously as he asked. "Sure Otoya, that sounds like a fun idea," said Moonlight. She smiled, thinking, Otoya is such a cinnamon roll. She lifted her head and stood on the tips of her toes and kissed Otoya's cheeks, giggling as she saw his face flush. Syo looked at the pair and stared at Otoya. Moonlight looked behind and noticed the look Syo had on his face and said, "I see someone is jealous~!" Syo puffed out his cheeks and looked away, saying, "I'm not," and crossed his arms. Moonlight skipped over to Syo and pecked his cheek as well. "Syo, you're so adorable," she cooed. It was Syo's turn to blush. "Y-You're the one who's cute here, not me," he stammered, making Moonlight blush. "That's so sweet of you Syo!" He continued to avert his gaze much to Moonlight's amusement, and soon Otoya called out, saying, "Here's a bunch of leaves! We can make the pile here!!"

The three piled up a couple of more leaves onto the growing pile, and soon the pile loomed over them. It was about 3 times their own heights. Content with their work, the three started walking back. "Alright in three..." started Otoya.

"Two...." continued Syo.

"One!" Moonlight shouted. The trio ran and jumped into the colorful pile, the leaves fleeing from the three and falling down, covering them. They laughed and lied on their backs, the leaves swishing back and forth until they met the damp dirt. A couple of orange and golden leaves fell upon their chests, rising slightly with their uncoordinated breathing.

The trio rose from the messy pile and the two boys helped Moonlight up. Moonlight thanked them and then smoothed her long floral dress. "I think we should go look for kimono shops," said Moonlight.

"Yeah, let's go," Syo said offering Moonlight his larger hand. Otoya also extended his hand, smiling. Moonlight took the hands of both boys and the three went into the shops looking for the perfect kimonos to wear for the festival.

"Guys, how does this look?" Moonlight stepped out of the changing room and posed for the two boys. Otoya and Syo blushed at the sight. Moonlight's kimono was a dark pink with lighter Sakura petals printed onto the smooth fabric. "You look so beautiful Moon-chan," said Otoya, his blush worsening.

"Pink definitely looks amazing on you, but we should check the other kimonos we chose," said Syo while he pondered. Syo was the type to be analytical with choosing clothing. He showed that much with the way he dressed himself after all. Moonlight blushed under their gaze and smiled, saying, "Thank you," and went back inside. She placed on another kimono, which turned out to be shorter than she thought it was. It hugged her body and enhanced it. The vibrant red was decorated with black lace on the edges of the sleeves and the bottom of the kimono, an intricate scenery was depicted around the kimono of black roses. She exited the changing room and walked up to Otoya and Syo, her blush worsening as she noticed the boys' faces grow scarlet.

"M-Moonlight, I think you should change into another kimono," Syo stammered and moved up to Moonlight and tried to block her from view.

"Y-Yeah, though you don't look b-b-bad," Otoya tried to say but blushed more. He held his hand up to his face.

Moonlight nodded, and went back to the changing room. This went on for a while until Moonlight came out with the last kimono. This kimono had a rosy pink top and the bottom was a nice shade of violet and had a pattern of beautiful bouquets of flowers of both a lighter pink and white.

Both boys grinned and said, "This is the one!" Moonlight smiled, relieved that they settled on a kimono. She felt the most comfortable in this one. They were about to go to the counter until they saw a store clerk pass by with a beautiful hair pin that looked like a flower tiara, with a couple of flowers that cascaded down tied with transparent string.

"Excuse me Miss, can we have that hairpiece?" Moonlight asked.

"Of course! You're a lucky gal, this is the last one we're selling," said the young lady. She placed the hairpin in Moonlight's hands and noticed the pink kimono in Moonlight's arms. "That's a beautiful kimono you chose there, you're going to the kimono themed festival, right?"

"Yup, we're getting ready for it," replied Moonlight with a smile. "I might go there as well, but probably when it's dark so I can see the fireworks," said the young lady. "I hope you three enjoy yourselves!"

They thanked the lady and went to pay at the register.

Once they got out of the store, the boys proceeded to get a similar attire for themselves. Moonlight watched and squealed at their outfits and helped choose one for each of them. They both couldn't help but laugh at her squeals; both boys thought her squeals were cute.

After a while, Otoya settled for a red kimono that looked like just barely levitated off the ground by a few centimeters. Otoya liked that he wouldn't have to worry about stepping over it like the ones he stepped on when he was a child and went to similar festivals like this in his orphanage. Syo on the other hand settled for a turquoise kimono that somehow made him appear just a tad bit tall with the design it had, making him feel content.

"Yosh! We're definitely ready for this festival," exclaimed Syo while stretching his arm and pumping his fist into the air. Moonlight nodded and smiled at the boy. "You bet it! Now we have to change and go there," said Otoya while grinning.

It was now the late afternoon and the lanterns lit up the sky as they hung on the thin strings over the different posts. The different lights reflected in the trio's eyes as they walked together to the different stands.

"I think I'd like to get some caramel apples, do you guys want some?" Syo asked, getting ready to go to the stand he saw.

"Yeah, I'd like one please," said Otoya. Syo nodded and looked to Moonlight. "How about you, Moonlight?"

Moonlight smiled and said, "Sure!" While Syo went off to get the caramel apples, Moonlight and Otoya talked with each other.

"Y'know Moonlight, the kimono really fits you. You look so pretty in it," said Otoya with a blush. Moonlight smiled and hugged the boy, saying, "Thank you Otoya, you also look handsome in yours, you're so adorable!"

Otoya smiled and hugged the girl back. He wanted to try making Moonlight blush instead and held her close, saying, "I-I think you're cuter." He kissed Moonlight's forehead and then her lips. Moonlight blushed, her heart racing a mile per minute while she kissed back. Otoya smiled into the kiss and cupped Moonlight's face with his large hands while the said girl hooked her arms around the redhead's neck. One of Otoya's hands moved to the back of Moonlight's head and pulled her closer if possible. They continued kissing in a heated syncopated rhythm. They would have continued the kiss had Syo not come running, saying, "I have the caramel apples!"

The pair separated quickly, turned around and walked towards the blonde, accepting the sweet he gave them. "Thanks for getting them Syo," said Moonlight as she licked some of the caramel. Her cheeks were still slightly red from the deep kiss. Otoya was pretty much the same. He could still feel his lips tingling from the warmth he felt when he was kissing Moonlight.

Syo eyed the pair curiously, but didn't make any comment that referred to their blushing state. He bit into his own caramel apple and his eyes sparkled as he said, "It's delicious!"

"It rea-y ish," Otoya tried to say while munching on his own caramel apple. Moonlight giggled and said, "You really shouldn't talk with your mouth full or else you could choke."

Otoya swallowed the munched up piece in his mouth and grinned, saying, "Yeah, it's sort of a habit, though thanks for worrying about me Moon-chan! You're really the sweet one here."

Moonlight smiled and hugged the red haired boy. Syo frowned slightly, wanting to be hugged by the brunette. Moonlight looked and sensed the blonde's jealousy and turned around and hugged Syo, saying, "Thanks again for the caramel apples Syo."

Immediately Syo cracked a smile while his cheeks were a pink tint, and said, "No problem! Come on, we should check out the rest of the festival!"

And so the trio enjoyed the rest of the festival and lost track of time, enjoying each other's company. The sun had already set and the moon was shining brightly in the dark sky. The speakers within the area suddenly announced the start of the dances and called everyone to the large empty area near the large stage where a DJ was ready with the music. A slow song started playing and everyone was quickly grabbing a partner.

"May I have this first dance Moonlight?" Syo asked quickly, beating Otoya. Otoya pouted and said, "Aww, I wanted to dance with Moon-chan."

"I'm not that good of a dancer, but I'd gladly dance with the both of you," responded Moonlight. She looked to Otoya and gave him an encouraging smile. Otoya regained his smile and said, "Ok, be sure to dance with me next then," and winked, causing the pink eyed girl to blush. Otoya then found a small girl that he knew from his orphanage who was around 6 and danced with her.

Syo offered Moonlight his hand and Moonlight placed her smaller hand onto his and Syo placed his other hand on the small of her back.

Moonlight seemed to follow Syo's steps as he pulled her close and swayed to the slow music.

"It's okay, you're dancing amazingly," Syo whispered in Moonlight's ear. The girl blushed pink and said, "Thanks Syo." She rested her head on Syo's chest and heard his heart beating quickly. It seemed to pick up its pace once she had her head close to it. At one moment their hearts were in sync with each other and they gracefully danced along to the slow music.

"Moonlight," Syo called to the girl. The said girl looked up to meet with Syo's loving blue orbs and almost smile at her own pink orbs.

"I love you," he said in a quiet voice that only they could hear. Moonlight's lips curled into a smile and she too said, "I love you too Syo." The two leaned closer together and enjoyed a sweet loving kiss while they continued to dance in their own little world. Their lips danced with each other and expressed their passion for one another, separating only for quick breaths.

The slow song soon came to an end and another more up beat song began playing and Otoya came to fetch Moonlight. "Moon-chan! Come on, let's dance!!"

Before Moonlight could say a word to Syo, Otoya whisked her away, and Syo looked at Moonlight longingly but smiled. He touched his warm lips and looked up at the sky, playing the moment in his mind over and over again.

And so the two boys continued to steal Moonlight from each other's arms while dancing and came close to making the girl faint from so much affection. Before they knew it, they had spent quite the amorous day together. For the finale, they found the perfect place to sit and watch the fireworks, both boys holding one of Moonlight's hands.

I've finally finished this one-shot!! I'm sorry for having taken so long to finish this Moon-chan, I hope you still like it despite me having taken so long to actually complete this. I think this came out alright, but hey, you readers can be the judge of that XD Next is Mathistle, so be prepared XD
