Patient (The Host and Dr Iplier)
Here's another of the Markiplier egos
The Host scratched under the bandage. It was becoming a bad habit, more blood. More mess. He couldn't work out what was wrong. However, the last thing he wanted to do was disturb the doctor who always seemed to be busy, in his office, in Dark's office, seeing another ego.
He sighed, walking past the doctor's door for the third time that day, but instead headed to his own study.
Hunched over the desk, he tried not to get frustrated as more blood dripped onto the notebook. '...The Host curses these infernal bandages and their inability to work as they are supposed to. He wiped at the blood but only growls a little as it smudges everywhere-' His narrations were interrupted by the door slamming open and the light being turned on.
'Host. I apologise for disturbing you.' Dark's voice echoed through the small room.
'...The Host accepts the apology, but shrinks away as he feels Darkiplier's frustration. Dark has noticed the blood…'
'It looks as if Bim has been here. What I require of you can wait. See the Doctor. Now'
The Host nodded, guiltily making his way to Dr Iplier's office. The doctor opened the door with a grumble, before his face softened at seeing the Host.
'Alright, favourite patient, sit down on the medical bed, you know the drill. Has your eye area been itching more?' the doctor asked, calm and concerned as usual.
'The Host sheepishly says not really, but can feel that Dr Iplier is in disbelief…'
'Yes, there is twice the amount of blood as usual. Now, I am a doctor, I know what's best… let's change these bandages shall we?'
The Host nods, staying completely still as Dr Iplier cleans the blood off his face.
'I knew you'd been scratching. And I can't put the antiseptic on your eye area… at least it's clean.' Dr Iplier sighed, replacing the bandage with a clean one. 'I suppose, there's only one thing left to do.' he said resolutely.
The Host frowned in confusion, quietly narrating. The narration stopped however, as the doctor said his next opinion.
'Yes. The only thing left to do, is kiss it better.' He said as he kissed the edge of the Host's bandages, running his hand lightly through the Host's hair.
He sat there in slight confusion, but also warmth as the doctor ran his hand through his hair. 'The Host thanks the doctor, yet…'
Dr Iplier sighed, 'How many times do I have to try this?' he asked a little frustrated, before kissing the Host on the edge of the lips.
Both men were silent for a moment, blushing.
'...The Host thanks the doctor, and suggests another checkup be scheduled for this evening.'
'Yes. It's a date. Not a date, date but…'
'...The Host chuckles at the flustered doctor. He says "It is a date. See you this evening" before kissing the doctor on the cheek and leaving the room with a smile.
