Luke shivered in the dark. It was so cold. His sleep couch was cold, his hands were numb and he on all of the winter gear that he could find. Damn heat acclimation from Tatooine! He hauled his blanket off his sleep-couch and draped it around his coated shoulders. The only layer he didn't have on was the pilot suit, which looked too uncomfortable to sleep in.

Silently he moved out of the room and into the hallway. His clothes rustled, but that was the only sound other than the occasional droid. He walked down the empty and dimly lit ice tunnel-come-hallway, almost tempted to light his saber for some light. No, he thought, it would draw too much attention.

Luke stopped further down the hall. If he remembered correctly, Leia's room was the one on the left. Holding his breath, he opened the door with the force. It slid up, revealing more darkness. The sleep-couch in the corner was bathed in the soft light from the hallway. The sleeping person groaned and rolled to face the light. They were definitely not Leia.

'Luke?' Han mumbled, confused.

'Sorry. I didn't mean to wake you. I'll go back now' Luke whispered hurriedly, using the force to begin closing the door again.

'Wait. Kid.' the door stopped moving.

'I-uh. Sorry?'

'Why are you out of bed?'

'Couldn't sleep. Too cold.'

Han let out a sleepy but dry chuckle. 'Come here. Leia needs her rest. You can bunk in with me.' Luke could almost see the smirk in the dim light. He shook his head.

'Really, it's fine. I'll go back now.' Luke insisted, opening the door again.

'Kriff Luke. Shut up.' Han grumbled, rolling over.

Luke tentatively walked over to the sleep couch. He sat down on the very edge of it, feeling the slightest bit of warmth from the blankets. Almost unconsciously, he slid on top of the covers, curling into a ball and gripping his own blanket tightly. The last thing he heard was a soft 'Come here kid' and felt a weight just over his torso, before the warmth lulled him to sleep. Luke was warm, and happy, snoring ever so softly. Han looked down at his sleeping face, happy but bleary eyed before falling asleep too.
