The End

Erza looked out at the demolished city. Her left eye was replaced with a working one, but all the colors were dim.

3 weeks before, Natsu and Lucy had sacrificed themselves to save the world.

Magnolia was broken, and destroyed, but it was being fixed. Brick by brick.

The missing were found under the rubble. Wendy had to have a leg removed. Levy has a mechanic arm, but Gajeel loves her anyways.

Sting was broken abour Yukino's death, and he hasn't been seen since his guild retreated to their hall.

There were lives lost, but everything was okay.

Erza watched Lisanna smile with Elfman, and Mira make a grilled cheese for Romeo.

Everyone was at ease, but...

Erza wiped her face, and she cleared her throat. She can't get emotional. She is the guild master, she has to be reliable.

Gramps had passed,  the week before. He had sustained injuries noone could heal.

Laxus had retreated to the woods, and barely came back the day before.

Erza walked down to the main floor, and she stood in front of Mira. Mira smiled at her, but her smile was sad..

Today was the day.

The funeral for the losses.

"I'm going to go out." Erza said. "I will be back soon."

Mira nodded, and Erza turned away before anything could be said. She passed Juvia, who was trying to get Gray to eat. Gray refused to, though.

Erza couldn't blame him. The nerves were getting to everyone.

Erza walked around town, absorbed in her thoughts.

She couldn't cry at the funeral. Even if she wanted , she couldn't. All her tears were used up the past 3 weeks.

Jellal was another loss. One she could barely handle. She will never forget the momeng when she laid eyes on his body, his head peaking out from under a huge slab of stone. It had fallen on him, killing him instantly.

There was only his head intact, she thought, emotionless. Only his head to bury, but its better than nothing.

Erza found herself at where Lucy's old house used to be. Now it was an empty lot with the skeleton of a new house. She remembered sneaking in to read her novels, having party's and just hanging out. Erza smiled fondly.

She kept walking.

She found herself at Natsu's old house. It was demolished, the city clean up didn't reach this part of town yet. She touched a part of the broken home, and a tear fell down her face. Erza sighed slowly.

She sank to her knees, sobbing quietly.

She missed them. She missed everyone that was lost. She wished that everyone had paid more attention to Lucy. That she could have been stronger. That she could have saved everyone.

But Erza knew it wasn't possible to turn back time.

What's done is done.

So she sat there in the ruins of Natsu Dragneel's old house and cried even more.

Erza returned to the guild hall an hour before the funeral started.

She was given looks, but none of malice. Everyone knew she had been crying. They felt worry.

She sighed, and cleared her throat. "It's time to to the town Square." Nobody said anything, and they just turned and walked out the doors.

Erza followed after them, quiet. She saw the people of Magnolia filling the square. People had been relocated to different cities in the country, but the had all returned when they heard a funeral for the mages were going on.

Erza smiled, comforted.

These people love us, no matter how many times we destroy their home.

-

Erza looked up at the mayor of Magnolia. He was standing on the balcony of the town hall.

Mayor cleared his throat.

"We have all come here to celebrate the lives lost from the battle three weeks ago. It is a sad time for everyone, but we must not let their lives go to waste." He paused, looking out at the people. "We need to honor them, and to do that we will throw a month long party. It goes on 24/7 until next month. So do not let your troubles get to you. Have fun and enjoy your freedom!"

It was quiet for a moment until everyone bursted out into cheers.

Erza was shocked, but she smiled any ways. It should be a fun day.

Erza sat down at a cafe, watching everyone drink and dance. A bonfire was in the middle of the square, burning the flags representing each life of a mage who was lost.

There were 17 flags in all.

Erza watched the smoke go into the air.

"Fun party, huh?"

Erza smiled, knowing the voice. She looked over and nodded.

"If it weren't for you, we wouldn't be here, Natsu."

Natsu grinned.

~
*flashback*

Erza looked up as the sky went back to normal. The screaming stopped, everything was quiet.

She looked around and she ran out the guild doors, towards where Natsu and Lucy were.

She was there in 5 minutes, panting and gasping for air.

She spotted them, and her heart broke even more.

Natsu was curled up, blood pouring through his stomach. He was still in E.N.D. form, but she knew it was him. Lucy's skin was peeled, and red from 3rd degree burns. Her hair was missing along with her clothes.

They were curled up, hugging each other.

Erza dropped to the floor next to them, looking for a pulse. She felt a very faint one on Natsu, and a strong one on Lucy.

Natsu's eyes fluttered open. He smiled slightly and said, "We won..." Before going limp.

But Erza knew he was okay.

So she gathered them both in her arms and cried.

*end of flashback*

Erza smiled at Natsu, warmth flooding through her.

It took Natsu a few days to recover. But he still kept his demon traits. His horns were chipped and slightly eroded, his wings big and burned with holes in them, and half if a tail.

But Erza knew he was the Natsu she loved. The Natsu who was a little brother to her.

"Lucy is recovering, still. She is active, but nothing too bad." Natsu looked at the croud of people. "But... She will have scars. And its okay. I still have my horns and wings.. And tail. But..."

Natsu looked at Erza, eyes shining bright.

"Our child will be as healthy as ever."

Fear had told Lucy she was pregnant. He had also told her that she would die.

But he was wrong about one thing.

She looked down at her stomach, rubbing it.

Natsu was paranoid so he had her in bedrest.

Her arms had scars from burns, and her hair was slowly growing back, but nothing bad.

Lucu smiled, tears running down her face.

She will never forget the relief she felt when she saw Natsu's face above hers, calling her name.

She won't forget his face when she told him she was pregnant with his child.

She heard the door open and saw Natsu.

He had gone to talk to Erza and see the party going on.

Lucy scooted over and Natsu climbed into bed with her. She snuggled into him.

"I'm glad we are alive." Natsu says quietly, after a few moments.

"Me too." Lucy says.

Natsu shuffles, and Lucy knows why. She gets off of him and he leans forward, adjusting his wings. Once they are tucked against him he leanes back again.

She notices the buldge that was his half tail between his legs.

And the horns.

They obviously needed to get used to somethings, but it definitely wasn't bad.

Lucy smiled as she leaned forward and kissed Natsu, climbing onto his lap and slipping off her gown.

"Luce.." He said between kisses. "You're healing and preg-"

"And you're horny and I'm fine." She said. Natsu shrugged, smiling slightly.

"Well... Okay, fine. But just this once." But even as he said that, and flipped Lucy under his body, leaning over her and spreading her legs, he knew it would be more than one time.

••••••••••••°

6 years later.

Natsu and Lucy watch their child as she runs around in their garden.

They were given a free home for their service, though there was plenty of protest considering they were the causes.

Natsu still had his demon parts, and they weren't going away at all. Which wasn't bad at all. It reminded them of their hardships, and they never want it to go away. But Natsu still has his comedian humor, and he still amuses the guild.

Lucy had recovered completely, burn scars gone and her hair grown long and healthy. The mark on her neck as dark as ever. She is an S class mage, along with Natsu.

But Natsu and Lucy watch their daughter, Kasai play with Charley, Happy and Carla's son.

She squealed, shooting harmless baby light rays at him. He avoided them easily, encouraging her.

Lucy kissed Natsu on the cheek, squeezing his hand.

Their daughter was a Celestial Dragon Slayer.

A combination of their magic. A magic thy never knew existed. But Natsu had one move of Celestial Dragon magic, but that would wait for later, when Kasai is a few years older.

Natsu and Lucy Dragneel smile contently and lean into each other as their daughter plays, unaware that she will become the strongest wizard in the continent. Unaware of the pain her parents had to go through.

But that is okay.

Natsu and Lucy would explain to her, in time.

They would explain to Kasai what a guild is, why the guild she in is the most powerful of them all, but they would start from the beginning.

When Natsu had stumbled into a crowd, clueless and in pursuit while Lucy was bewitched by a strange man, young and filled with dreams.

But for now, Natsu and Lucy will let their Celestial dragon slayer daughter frolick in the grass,

A happy family.

At last.

The End.
