Lucy hasn't returned.

Her house has been taken care of for her and her rent paid.

The guild couldn't find her. She had disappeared. They hired Fiore's best tracker, but there was no sign of Lucy. The first 10 months they searched, until they lost hope.

All except one.

Natsu spent 1 month away from the guild, trying to find Lucy. Every once in a while, once a week, he would find her scent. Then it would fade away, leaving him more deperate than before.

Happy trailed along with him, with no hope.

Everyone gave up.

Natsu returned to the guild, empty handed and heartbroken. He had worked endlessly with little sleep, to keep Lucy's rent paid, her house free from any home buyers and cobwebs.

He barely took anytime in the guild hall with mira, Erza, Levy, Juvia, or anyone else.

He still looks.
