Warning: There will be some spoilers for the anime/manga whatever! and this is gonna be my version of e.n.d. so if its off oh well

Natsu yelled as he felt the darkness swarming him all over. He screamed in pain as he felt his skin ripping apart, and his mind being intruded forcefully.

Don't fight me... Embrace me... This is happened with her... Let it happen and you can be closer in more ways...

Natsu heard the voice... and he fell on his knees, screaming in pain. His skin tore open even more on his back, his head, and on his arms and legs.

Tears rolled down his face as his life literally flashed before his eyes.

But he couldn't see that horns were growing on his head, curled and big. Big leathery red wings were erupting from his back, spilling more blood. His fingers bursted into scaly red claws, the skin on his legs exploding, leaving scales in its wake, and his trousers in tatters. 

Natsu screamed, curling over , on his hands and knees in his own blood. He threw up as he heard the demon laughing, telling him to accept him.

Accept me.. All the pain would stop. You let me out for a reason, you can't expect me to hold back. Hardly fair. Natsu screamed and threw up from the pain. His horns had completelyqqdcui]]] grown in, curled against his head and blood was dripping down his face.

Accept me...

Natsu saw Lucy coming back, changed.

No more pain.

He saw Lucy, nearly killing him.

Give me one command...

He saw Igneel, dying over and over again.

And I shall follow through with it.

He felt the pain, and he wanted it to stop. He shouldn't feel this... It is too much for a 20 year old to hold by himself. He screamed as he felt the enormous greif on Lucy hit him in the chest again. His mind filled with memories of Igneel, of the guild-

And he couldn't take it.

He snapped, and the demon inside of him laughed. Natsu wanted to forget everything, and he didn't care of he became a monster that destroyed.

Natsu sobbed, darker waves of pain and destruction and fear and evil radiated off of him.

Inside, the force took ahole of Natsu. It's heat was a haven to Natsu, and he retreated in it.

Now... One request. If E.N.D. could have smiled, he would have. He already knew what Natsu was going to say. And he knew what to do.

D....Defeat Lucy. Natsu thought, closing his eyes. Make sure the evil is gone from her...

And Natsu Dragneel dissappeared into E.N.D.

When his body opened it's eyes, the eyes were red slits, and his teeth were sharp.

He looked down at himself, examining himself.

Not bad...

His clothes were gone, which left his scaly legs that faded away when it approached his stomach, showing a bit of a V-line. His arms were scaled as well, and the back was too, around the places where his wings were.

E.N.D. grinned. He moved his wings and he cursed. Haven't done this in awhile..

Erza screamed as Lucy tore out her left eye. Ah, would you look at that. Poetic, isn't it? Both of your priginal eyes are now gone...

Earlier, Erza had tried to blast Lucy, but Lucy had just deflected the blast and attakced her. 

Now she threw Erza into a building, and she yelled out in pain. She couldn't see anything... her bangs. They were in the way. She french braided them back, moaning in pain.

Meanwhile, Sting was fighting Lucy, light on light. Erza ripped a peice of her clothing off, and she tied it around her head, covering her left eye socket.

Sting yelled as Lucy made a light whip and beat him with it. Rogue was onn th eopposite side of Sting, attacking Lucy from the back. 

But it was no use.

Erza saw as everybody attacked Lucy, with no hope. Levy wasn't there, she was with a unconcious wendy in one of the abandoned buildings. Gajeel was on the ground, grunting in pain, holding a bloodied hand to his chest. Wakaba was speared on a broken pipe in a broken building. 

She watched as Mira yelled in pain and she flew up, and she flew up high. "Everybody, get down!"

People looked up.  They seemed to realize what she meant and they ran back, Rogue being th elast one to leave. He blasted lucy in the head, before he leapt back, running to take cover. Erza watched helplessly as Mira yelled, and she dove at Lucy, glowing purple. at the last minute, Lucy looked up, smiled, and she spread her arms. 

There was an explosion, and everything went white, and Erza's ears were popped. Erza strained her eyes as the whiteness faded away.

My my. Look who decided to show up.

Erza looked in horror as E.N.D. had Mira by her neck. She was back in her orignial form, bruised and her eyes wide with fear. Erza saw his horns, the wings, the scales, the claws... and felt the power radiating off of him.

Erza yelled. "No! Natsu!"

But he turned to Erza, throwing Mira into a wall. He isn't here right now.

And E.N.D. turned back to Lucy, and looked her up and down, his wings fluttering. What a fine body... Then suddenly, he was behind Lucy, holding a forearm acorss her neck. Even she looked surprised. Time to fullfill his wish. 

E.N.D. spread his wings as Lucy was starting to glow, and he shot up intp the sky. Everybody watched in horror. This was not going by plan in any way. And with Wakaba... There wasnt a way to communicate, without the enemy knowing...

And Erza wasn't sure who the enemy was.

In the air, Lucy exploded, and E.N.D. was thrown back. E.N.D. was automatically caught by his wings. He looked up, a bit caught of guard, but he grinned, his larger than usual fangs being bared. How have you been, god of Fear?

(From here on I am going to start calling Lucy Fear cause I hate the name Yami *>-<)

Fear narrowed her eyes. Lonely.

Fear held up an arm, and she blasted a huge ray of light out of her hand. She grinned as she noticed the black smears in her magic.

E.N.D. easilly dodged it. He whistled. It was kinda boring being trapped- He flew fast around Fear and floated behind her, gripping her waist -in that awful book. Nothing to do.

Fear exploded, hitting E.N.D.. He flew back, looking down at his singed torso. Fear turned and she flew at him high speed and kicked his chest, golden energy coursing throuh her veins. E.N.D. was shot back, and he grunted in surprise. He felt this stabbing sensation. Ah... This must be pain. 

He flew back until his wings once again caught him, and then Fear was on him again. E.N.D. flipped, and he shot white fire out of his hands. Fear didn't move because she figured the flames wouldn't hurt her. But when they came into contact, she yelled in pain.

E.N.D. laughed. I am stronger than my other half, you fool. You shouldn't be so smug next time. He laughed as Fear flew at him, with an outstretched hand, but he grabbed her hand, swung her around and pinned her arm behind her. Fear seethed. Why do you insis-

E.N.D. pulled his wings in. I'm following a command. He laughed as they began to fall.

Fear yelled and she glowed but E.N.D. tossed her up right as she exploded. She tweisted around and shot a blast at him, missing and it hit a building. E.N.D. heard yelling but he didnt care. Fear suddenly appeared and she hand her hand on his neck. He winced when her hand started to heat up. She used her other hand. Come on, demon... World domination. Make these.. humans our slaves.

E.N.D. paused. No thanks.

He swung his leg over Fear's arms and he twisted out of her grip, holding onto her arm. Then he laughed and he threw her at the ground, and hard. 

He could tell she was caught off guard because she crashed into multiple buildings, skipping like a rock. He laughed as he flew after her, fire igniting on his hands and arms. He laughed madly as he saw Fear's arm impaled with a pipe. But he watched as she got up and yanked the pole out. She looked up right as he punched her in the face and laughed even harder.

Come on, Fear!! You are a god! You are stronger than this!!!!

(from Yami's POV kinda)

Yami yelled internally. This body wasn't working. He watched as the demon punched the...no... his body. He was thrown back and he hit a wall. The body spit up blood and Yami reached up and tiuched the lips.

impossible... He said. He looked up again as the demon approached him. His face was shadowed except for one glowing red eye. His wings were halfway spread. A spot on his neck began to burn with a blistering pain. He tried to ignore it.

He lifted up a hand and blasted it, but the body wouldn't respond.

I'm not afraid of you. E.N.D. said. He picked up a slab of rock and he heated his hands up, heating up the rock and making it into a molten ball. He gripped it in his talons as he laughed, his fangs baring.

I am afraid. A feminine voice said in his head. 

Yami shook his head and stood up but felt pain on his neck. E.N.D. stopped a few feet away from him. Yami saw his scales, wings, horns, talons, fangs, and those evil and dark eyes.

An aura was released from E.N.D. and Yami felt himself trembling.

I..I am not afraid! He yelled at the voice in his mind. I am the god of fear!!!!

We are afraid... He felt the familiar burning sensation in the back of his head. The Celestial wizard was awakening. He rummaged through her memories and he put one of her mother dying on repeat. The burning faded away and he looked at the beast in front of him.

But E.N.D. was right in his face, and he held the now cooled rock above his head.

You were easily defeated. What a shame... all the talk about ending the world... Just another flop. E.N.D. laughed again, leaning back. Then, he lifted the rock and he threw it at Yami's body. It crushed the leg, and he yelled in pain.

Yami felt the burning in his neck get worse. He tried lifting a hand but he couldn't. E.N.D. laughed and he reached forward and he grabbed Yami by the throat. Yami gagged, and he tried heating up his neck, but the burning on his neck got even worse.

E.N.D. started squeezing but Yami flailed. He couldn't belive he was being beat this easy.

You are afraid. The wizards voice whispered. He could feel anger in his head. He knew she was awakening and he couldn't stop it. Now we both are going to die.

Yami twisted his head, and E.N.D. suddenly stopped squeezing. Yami gasped for air and E.N.D. growled. Then he started laughing. Well well. Now i know why you aren't putting up a fight.

Yami perked up. He fought away the light in his head.

He is smart. The mark prevents her from killing him and vice versa.

Yami felt a spark of hope. 

But I am a demon. The power of a dragon cannot stop me.

Then everything went black.

E.N.D. grinned down at Fear. Her mouth was open, her eyes rolled to the back of her head. He flew up, and he started laughing. He heard yells, and he suddenly remembered the humans.... He would deal with them later. The dragon slayer never said anything about them... He grinned, a breath of fire leaving his mouth. He was evil after all. He couldn't just...obey that weakling.

When he was high enough he whispered, Good bye, wizard, and he threw Fear down and she fell, limp and her speed becoming faster and faster.

He heard yells as she plummeted towards the humans and he grinned ear to ear as he saw her crash into the spot they were at. He set his hands on fire, and be swooped down. His eyes scaled through the cloud of dust, ignoring a growing pain in his side. He saw a faintly glowing body, and he landed in front of it.

E.N.D. heard screams of pain and cries of horror. The crash had cause the buildings to collapse, no doubt killing a few mages.

He looked down at the, body, mangled and bloody. Her clothes were ruined even more-

But her eyes were open. E.N.D. frowned, and Fear started to laugh. All at once, the temperature dropped to below Zero, so cold that E.N.D. steamed. He looked around and heard gasps of pain. He looked down and saw blood running out of her eyes. Mixed with black slime. Fear laughed louder, her limbs straightening out, and she stood up. E.N.D. watched, wary. She was still laughing, but half her face was frozen in a grimace of pain, the other half stuck in a calm smile.

Don't worry, Natsu...  I have this under control.  A soft feminine voice said. The burning sensation in The Demon's side increased.

I will take control. I will take control.  I WILL TAKE CONTROL.  I WILL TAKE CONTROL.

The two voices spoke in sync, and E.N.D. wasnt aware of the wizards fleeing. He was watching the two.

If I leave... I want you to know.....

As E.N.D. heard the words, a pain hit his heart. He clutched at it, gasping slightly. He felt his body heat up, his vision blurred as he was suddenly standing in an abyss.

He looked around, and all he saw where memories.  He saw The Mortal and the Celestial Wizard meeting, he saw every journey, he saw every year and smile..

And he laughed. What a pathetic life. Defending the good. Defeating the bad. He laughed as he shook himself out of the trance, and his eyes widened.

He saw Fear, glowing blindly. He squinted his eyes, and he heard voices in sync.

He couldn't make sense of them,  but he approached the wizard.

E.N.D. grinned.  He reached forward, and he saw her eyes. They were brown. Chocolate brown.  Tears. Full if longing. He froze. Something stirred in him, and he heard a yell in his mind.

He felt rage and he shut his eyes and countered back with power.

The Mortal was coming back, and E.N.D. couldn't kill the mage in front of him.

He had to kill the mage inside of him, first. Ignoring the blinding light, E.N.D. concentred.

He soon felt a wave of passion, anger,  fear and... love hit him. He cringed back for a second,  and then he saw him.

The dragon slayer. He was on his hands and knees, eyes closed bit his face a mask of anger. The abyss of his mind was clear. E.N.D. looked down at the young man.

He reached out, and he grabbed Natsu by the throat. Natsu let out a gurgle as he was lifted off of the ground. E.N.D. held him in the air, if that's what you can call it, and he grinned.

Natsu's eyes fluttered open and closed. E.N.D. squeezed harder, watching in joy as the dragon slayer lost his confidence as E.N.D. flooded his head with nightmares.

But then Natsu's eyes open.

He meets E.N.D.'s eyes.

For a split second, E.N.D. falters, and his grip nothing physically and mentally loosen. Natsu moves his arm up and sets his hand on fire, gripping E.N.D.'s arm.  But he laughs. He can't he burned....  after all they share the same body. He could see Natsu's confusion; he was fighting his mirror image.

Natsu was still weak, though.  E.N.D grit his teeth and squeezed harder. Natsu groaned in pain, and Etherious heard a thought 'I said...  Defeat... The evil... '

Etherious ignored Natsu, and he tore open Natsu's mind. You never specified which way. You didn't care if you became a monster... Now pay the consequences.

And Etherious Natsu Dragneel squeezed the last part of Natsu's sanity out of him.

Lucy whispered in Fear's ear. His body was a dull grey, his hair falling out. Leathery skin. Dried trails of goo. He wasn't handsome. He was a horror.

Their roles had switched, Lucy mused. She was the one whispering... persuading... torturing.

We are afraid... We are going to die by the hands of a greater force... and we aren't going to come back.

She could feel his regret.

No...  I am fear. I never go away.

It took you this long to develop a body.. of a sort. Lucy tapped his shoulder, her dull gold finger barely sizzling. Centuries... And you floated around, merely whispering in people's ears... we both know you aren't a god. Just a mere boy who was killed in an accident...

Lucy went through his memories; the fight with E.N.D. had plagued him with paranoia and fear... and it poisoned him.

She saw a glimpse of a teenage boy screaming while getting torn apart. By a man... He screamed and cried, every breath and tear filled with fear.

Even as he took his last breath, his last thoughts contained fear.

His soul, as an aftermath, was turned into this.. spirit.

Lucy smiled as she put her hands over his eyes. His body began to shrink and she whispered, Its the end....you want to sleep...you wete just a boy who couldn't pass on... She made her voice sympathetic as he shrunk to the size of a teenage boy, and he hunched over and wept.

I shouldn't have done this..

What was it for?

..so I could feel powerful...

And what are you going to do now?

I'm going to...

To what?

to....

Lucy sighed, and she hugged the teenage boy. Say it... say it and you will pass on.

He clutched her arms, his grey skin paling until it was white.

I'm going to..to..

Lucy closed her eyes and said, You've made a mistake. You almost were permanently killed.. You just want a rest.. a do over...

She could feel his resolve break.

I just want to live peacefully...

Lucy floated back,  and she floated im front of the boy.  He looked up at her, black eyes and light green hair, and a scarred face. Tears were flowing and he was naked, his arms tight around his chest.

He made eye contact, and he choked out,

Lucy opened her eyes and she yelled.

She was in her own body again. She ached, and her body burned. She was letting out a bright light.  She calmed herself and observed her surroundings... and she let out a cry.

Everything was in flames. Buildings were demolished, and the air was tinted red. Heat blistered her body, and she looked around. She heard screams, but they were distant.

Then she turned around and saw the center of the heat.

A hunched body.

Natsu..

Lucy ran over, but he flipped back, his back bending and he screamed.

A wave of fire exploded, and Lucy was shot back.  Heat singed her hair and her remaining clothes,  but she pushed towards Natsu.

She knew what was going on.

And she needed to stop it, as soon as she could.

But pain laced her heart with every beat. She knew from the start that one of them would die...  But she thought  it would be her... She never considered Natsu would unleash.. this monster.

But Lucy swallowed her pain, and she walked towards Natsu.

She saw the wings, the horns, and the claws. The heat was boiling, but she kept walking. She reached Natsu, and he screamed. A demonic yell. A man's yell.

She fell to her knees, and grabbed his head right under his horns.

Baby... I know this is killing you but please.. please just don't give up..

She remembered what the boy said,  and she laughed and cried, her flesh peeling.

She opened her mouth and she repeated it to him.

Then, Lucy heard a horrible scream, and then she saw black.

but I'm trying to make the chapters  long so I'm saying we more chapters after this, one probably is gonna be the epilogue or it's gonna be after ybe two.. IDK

I'm rushing this story, if you can't tell. this story went down the  and it hasn't gotten back up
