3rd POV

Lucy ran fast, crying hard, tears blurry her vision. She tripped, and stumbled on the stone floor, and cried out. People stepped forward to help her, but she got up, and kept running.

She never had felt this bad before. Never. She couldn't take it anymore.

She had learned to block it out, but when Natsu said it, she broke.

She cried so hard, she ignored the worried glances of passers, as she fell, and stumbled.

Lucy reached her house, running through the door,sobbing. "L-Loke!!" She called out.

In a flash of gold, her celestial spirit appeared in front of her, and she fell. Loke caught her, and said, "Why are you crying?"

Lucy sobbed on his shoulder. "N-N-Nats-su..''

Loke tensed. "Natsu?"

Lucy nodded, and Loke's grip tightened around her, and he patted and rubbed her back.

Soon, Lucy's sobs melted away. She shuddered, and took in deep breaths. After 5 minutes, she was done crying. She wiped her eyes, silent. Loke looked at her, unsure of what was going to happen next... he watched as Lucy stood straight and looked him in the eye.

Her gaze was defiant and unreadable, which shocked Loke, and she said, "Go back to the celestial world. We have something to do."

Natsu POV

I watched as Lucy ran away, and I felt my anger wash away, leaving me with disbelief over what I had done. I heard her sobs slowly fade away, and looked at the wall, where I had blasted my fire at her head.

My eyes widened as I looked at the still hot wall, and my heart drops. What did I do...?

I was controlled by my own anger.... what had i even come out here for..? I began to make my way to the guild. About 10 minutes later I reached it, and opened the doors. I hear cheering, and I see Erza, with Mavis standing/floating/whatever by her side.

I let out a sigh. So Mavis was the treasure. Made sense. I made my way to the bar, and watched as Erza received a gift card for her favorite bakery.

"Can I get you anything, Natsu?"

I turn to Mira, and I look at her. Mira crosses her arms and gives me a look that says what did you do now.

"Where is Lucy.....??" Mira asked. "You guys are usually tied at the hip."

I groan, and faceplant onto the bar. Mira sighed. "Did you make her mad?"

"....."

I felt a sudden pain to the back of my head. I jumped up, rubing it. "OW!" I look at Mira to see she has one of her sandals in her hand, and she was glaring at me. "That bad?!!"

"no.... at least I don't think so...I can never tell with girls....."I opened my mouth to say something, but then i felt the sandal collide with my face, taking me down. Landing on my back, the wind got knocked out of me. I coughed, and automatically sat up, ignoring the laughter around me, and received the sandal from my face and threw it at Mira. She caught it and slipped it back on.

Mira scowled at me. "Great job Natsu. What did you say to her?"

I looked down. "I-I don't want to say..."

I felt an armoured hand pat my back a bit rough, and I winced.

"Hello Natsu!!! Where is Lucy?" Erza asked me. I froze and then looked at my feet. "Probably at her house......."

"Why? Shouldn't she be at the guild?" Gray asked, appearing out of nowhere. I glared at him. "Mind your own business, ice cube."

"No! Lucy is my friend, and I-"

"Yeah!! Natsu what did you do to Lu-chan?" I heard a short person squeak, and looked at her, and shrugged. "I think i made her mad...."

There was silence for a few seconds, and I braced myself for a beating. But luckily, it never came.

"WE NEED TO GO AND COMFORT LUCY-SAN!!" Wendy yelled, raising a fist.

"HAI!"

I stood up. "Lets go...!"

With a shout, everyone ran out of the guild, towards Lucy's house.

We reached her house, and Erza knocked on the door, and there was no answer. She rang the doorbell, and there was still no answer.

"....." I was silent, and then I turned the knob of the door-well, I tried. It was locked. So i kicked it open, and ignored the shouts of anger.

"Lucy?!!" I yelled, but there was no answer.

Echoes of her name were yelled through the house. Erza, Gray, Wendy, Juvia, levy and I ran to her room,and the door was open.

I ran into her room. "Luce-"

I stopped, seeing a note on the bed. My heart froze.

"Natsu what is wrong?" Levy called, standing behind me. I squinted my eyes, and read the neat writing on the letter that said To Fairy Tail.

I walked to the letter. I picked it up, and heard everyone fill in the room behind me.

"Read the note." cana yelled.

I nodded faintly and opened the note.

Dear Fairy Tail,

            I am leaving.

I understood those three words. I wrote something like this once...

My eyes widened and the paper dropped from my hands.

I look around the room. I don't see Lucy's keys or whip anywhere.....

Slowly, voices start getting louder. People are talking among their selves, and I pick up on 'what happened?!' and 'why would she leave us?!' and 'is she leaving forever?!' but ignored it. Yells broke out and I sniffed. She left about 20 minutes ago...

I followed her scent, down the stairs, and it overwhelmed me in the kitchen. I looked at the kitchen, and seen a plate on the table. Another note was on it, but this time it said

To: Natsu Dragneel
from: Lucy Heartfilia

I closed my eyes, then opened them. I turned the peice of paper over, and read it.

Natsu,

I am not leaving because you called me weak. I am leaving because I have been called weak, useless, spoiled, crybaby, and many more hurtful things by everyone. You just happened to be the last straw. So, yes, I am leaving Magnolia to get stronger and prove everyone wrong, but I am NOT leaving Fairy Tail. I will be gone for a few years, training with my spirits. But don't think I forgot about what you did to me.
I will get payback, Natsu.
It WON'T be pretty.

I stared at her neat writing. So I did really hurt her....

I followed her scent out the door.

"Salamander, where are you going?" I heard gajeel yell, but I ignored him, following her strawberry scent. It led me past our guild, past the bakeries, past every little shop, then to the edge of Magnolia.

I stepped out, but her scent disappeared. My eyes widened. How does her scent suddenly disappear?!

I stepped back, and her scent overwhelmed me. She was here... but where did she go?

I fell to my knees, the note still in my hand. I sat on my feet, and tears slowly began making their eay down my face. So this is what she felt when I left her....

3rd POV

Natsu was slowly surrounded by his guildmates, Wendy and Gajeel trying to pick up on Lucy's scent, Erza reading the note aloud, everyone shaking Natsu, demanding him what happened, and Natsu didn't do anything, but cry.
