"So what is your name, not sweaty enough?" Dotty asked Fionn as they waited outside in the cold that afternoon.
"Didn't Chris tell you when you first met me?" Fionn retorted looking out across the sea.
Dotty nodded, "Probably, I just wasn't paying too much attention. First time working on a film set, was more focused on the task at hand, sorry."
"It's Fionn."
"Nice name, I know a Fionn. Kind of." Dotty said brushing her hair out of her face as the wind waved it everywhere.
Fionn glanced at her confused, "Kind of? What do you mean by that?"
"We haven't known each other long, I only found out his name today."
It took Fionn a couple of minutes to get what she had said and he rolled his eyes, a smile creeping onto his face. "Ha. Ha. Hilarious."
"I know, I should be a comedian scrap this job!" Dotty exclaimed, "I'M KIDDING! I LOVE THIS JOB!" She yelled as a few extras looked at her in shock. She turned her head to face Fionn, "No but seriously I do only kind of know another Fionn. Long story, don't worry about it."
Fionn raised his eyebrows, "Oh, I wasn't going to ask." Dotty didn't know how exactly to interpret what he had said. She wasn't sure if he was being serious or he was joking until the corners of his lips curled up and he slung an arm over her shoulders. "I'm messing with you. I'm sure the story is very interesting. So what exactly are you doing this afternoon? Are you doing what you normally have been doing?"
Dotty shrugged, "I do's what I do's. And what I am told to obviously."
"You're pretty weird, you know that?"
"So I am told, daily, by my parents and myself. It's all good though, it's only the demons." Dotty pulled away from Fionn waving her hands in his face before she ran off down the beach towards her father leaving Fionn wide-eyed and grinning in amusement.
Harry came up beside him eating some corned beef, "What's going on?" He asked.
"Not a clue. Why are you eating corned beef?" Fionn replied tearing his eyes from Dotty's retreating figure.
"Because it's delicious." Harry said in a 'duh' tone. "What did Dotty want?"
Fionn shrugged, "We were just talking. Then she left."

It was dinner and the cast was sat around their usual big table with Dotty not too far away from them. She was sat alone staring down at her phone as she ate slowly, not taking her eyes off the screen. "Do you think she'd sit with us if we asked? I mean it mustn't be nice sitting alone." Aneurin asked. "She is a nice girl."
"I dunno, don't you think she would sit with someone if she wanted to, though?" Jack added as they all looked at her. "She does seem the type to enjoy being alone. Other than us, I don't think she's really spoken to anyone other than Chris. Yet, there's no harm in asking."
Tom (GC) was the one who stood up and walked over to her, sitting in a seat opposite her. "You alright, Dotty?"
"I'm good, Tom? You are Tom right?" She replied, her eyes leaving her phone. He nodded, "What's up?"
"We were wondering, save you sitting on your own if you wanted to sit with us?"
Dotty bit the inside of her mouth, "That's a lovely offer but I don't want to intrude. I'm okay on my own, honestly."
"You wouldn't be intruding." Said Tom, "We would all like it if you sat with us."
Dotty smiled appreciatively, "Maybe tomorrow, I have finished anyway. Thanks for the offer though."
"Are you sure? I mean aren't you having dessert?" Tom questioned, hoping she would join them. Afterall, all of the guys were counting on him to get her to join them.
"I was going to, but-"
"You will just with us?" Tom smirked opening his arms up in a motion as to say 'come on'. "You know you want too."
Sighing, a smile toying with her lips, "Fine. But if you find me annoying please tell me to go away."
"You aren't annoying," Tom said as he pulled her over to the table. Cillian patted the empty seat beside him and she took it awkwardly. "See! That's better."
"You alright Dotty?" Asked Jack. She nodded twidling with the cuff of her jumper beneath the table. She wasn't this awkward earlier around them but now that she couldn't exactly just walk out she felt a little uncomfortable. "So what will you be doing tomorrow? Tea and coffee? Picking up helmets?"
"I don't have a scooby doo. Dad simply tells me in the morning and during the day." She stated.
"Dad? Chris is your dad?"Exclaimed Harry.
Dotty nodded, "Yup."
"That's so cool! Having Christopher Nolan as your dad must be amazing! Kids at school probably loved you!" Barry cried after he sipped his lemonade.
She shook her head, "No one knew who my dad was except teachers. People just knew he was away a lot. I was a normal kid, and I am just a normal adult."
"Yeah but surely now you get recognised?" Tom (H) asked.
Dotty shook her head once more, "Nope, my dad kept me out of the way of cameras so I could grow up normally. He didn't want me in that kind of spotlight, he knew what media could be like. I lead a private life, to be honest. Not many people actually know he's my dad either. I'm just a girl with the surname Nolan. No cameras. No photographers. Just Dotty."
"That's good then. Not having cameras shoved in your face when you are on the street. Not having news articles about the littlest of things you do like you've cut your hair and stuff. Not having random people come up to you in the street."
Dotty turned to Fionn who was sat opposite her, and began to ramble, not realising she was doing so," Oh, I do have random people coming up to me in the street, but for totally different reasons. It's like any other person, you know people who know other people who recognise you as someone they know's friends and that means they talk to you like you know them but you don't. I've had that a few times. Some guy named, Rhys came up to me because I know a girl called Georgie and instantly started talking to me as if we are old friends. I haven't spoken to this Georgie since primary school! But I am glad my dad kept me away from his fame, I don't think I would like fame very much. Privacy is key to life, and I like privacy."
"I can agree with you there about privacy." Fionn smiled.
