Chris got to the hospital as soon as he could. When he arrived at Dotty's bedside, both Jack and Andrew were still with Dotty who was still unconscious but mumbling some stuff every so often. Chris dropped to Dotty's side taking her hand in his. "How the bloody hell did she get here?" He questioned taking a look at his daughter and how bad she looked.

"I have no idea and I don't think she does either. She thought she was still in London." Said Jack standing beside Chris.

Chris sighed, "Why did she lie? I don't even care anymore that she lied. I just want to know why. I also want to know why the fuck she was with Anna of all people."

Dotty muttered again in her sleep alerting the men once more. "Why a train? Where is it going? Yes, it does matter! It will take me home? Oh okay."

Chris rubbed her cheek, "Darling wake up. It's me. It's dad, come on now."

Her eyebrows crinkled as her body seemed to relax from its tense state. "Daddy?" She asked, her voice louder but hoarse from her dry throat.

"Yes, Dotty, it's me," whispered Chris brushing his fingers through her hair.

Dotty's eyes fluttered open and her hand quickly found her fathers. "Daddy, what happened? Why am I in the hospital?" She asked him, her voice cracking as she took in her surroundings.

Chris pulled her into his arms, being careful about her ribs. "You passed out, darling, we don't know why, but you did."

Dotty burst into tears, holding onto her father rubbing her back and sparing a look at Jack. Jack sat beside Dotty and placed his hand on her shoulder. "Hey, yer," he said softly, "do yer remember anything that happened last night?"

Dotty glanced up tearfully at the man and nodded, "little bits."

"Yerwanna talk about it?" Asked Jack, "it might be nice to get it off of your chest."

Dotty stayed close to her father and retold the parts of what happened the previous night, well, the parts that she could remember. "I went out with Nathan, Kedar, Marnie and Caleb. The good people."

"Nathan? Anna's boyfriend?" Asked Chris, with his eyebrows raised.

"Nathan is good. Anna is bad. We went to the new club in town, it was good, I had a few drinks then Anna and her friends turned up. No one knew that they would be there. The boys and Marnie kept trying to drag me away from Anna but she forced me to stay. She kept feeding me drinks. All of the same ones that I liked but one tasted funny. I didn't take much notice of it. Then we left the club, Anna said she was taking me home. I don't know why I listened to her and forced the others to let me go with her. Then when they left... she...she...called me a bad friend and then hurt me, daddy. I don't know what happened next. I don't remember getting here. Why are Jack and his friend here?"

Jack patted her back, "Dot, yer in Scotland."

"How?! I can't be!" She exclaimed, though her throat made it rough and deep.

"You said something about a train and home, sweetie, clearly you were drugged and too drunk to really take notice of where someone was leading you. You ran into Jack and his friend earlier then passed out after throwing up." Said Chris kissing her head, "why did you lie? Why didn't you just tell us where you were going?"

Dotty shrugged, "You're the ones that assumed that I was going out with Fionn. I don't know why I went along with it, I just did. I'm sorry."

Chris shook his head, "It's all done with now, but as long as you will not lie again, all will be forgotten."

"I promise," Dotty said and turned to Jack and Andrew, "I'm sorry for anything I did whilst you know, and thank you for everything you've done for me because of it."

"Of course, Dot, we wouldn't have just left yer," Jack replied. "Granted you called Andrew a thespian."

"Oh my God, I'm sorry," Dotty turned to Andrew who laughed it off.

"I've been called far worse, hun," Andrew said to her, "thespian has a nice ring to it methinks."

Dotty cracked a smile, giggling to herself, it's like Caspian."

"Ah, a Narnia fan I see," grinned Andrew. Dotty nodded, "Favourite character?"

"Peter and Edmund."

"Why?"

"They're just great characters and William Moseley and Skandar Keynes' good looks are just n added bonus." She smirked.

Andrew shrugged, "I feel the same about Susan," he grinned. Jack and Chris left Andrew and Dotty talking as they went to find a doctor to come and check on her. But also to have a private chat.

Chris ran a hand through his thinning hair, "I've never worried about her as much as I have had to today. This is just so not her. I swear to God if Anna does not leave my daughter alone I will be getting a restraining order. This is getting ridiculous. I know Dotty probably doesn't help because she always tries to find the good in everyone. But seriously if I hear that Anna comes near her again I will be going to the law."

Jack nodded, "I don't blame yer. She's trouble and if I ever have the unpleasant chance of meeting her I will be giving her a piece of my mind. Have you spoken to Fionn, telling him she's okay."

"Not yet, I haven't even spoken to Emma. I just want the all clear from the doctors first."

Jack agreed, "She's alright. Tough lil' lassy."

Chris sighed, "I hope so... Doctor! My daughter Dorothy she's in the room down there-"

The lady turned around and nodded, looking down at a little ipad, "Ah yes. About Dorothy, it's not good I'm afraid..."
