That evening everyone had returned to Fionn's to collect their things as they were to make their way home, or in Barry, Shona, Jack as Aneurin's case, each of them were staying at the homes of friends or family. Everyone had left except Dotty who Fionn has asked to stay back for a little while.

"Do you want to maybe...erm...stay over again? Just us?" He asked her, his hand making its way to the back of his neck and scratching it.

Dotty bit her lip, "I don't have any more clothes, Fionn." She told him.

"Well you have two sets from today and yesterday, and you have pyjamas and things, I can put your clothes in the wash, they'll be dry by tomorrow. Or we can go get you some more from yours?" Fionn suggested, "And you can use some towels and body wash, shampoo and things that I already have so you can shower. But don't thing you have to stay over, you can say no. I'll understand."

Dotty smiled at Fionn who blushed, waiting for her answer. "I'd love to stay, if it isn't any trouble?"

"I wouldn't have asked if it was any trouble." Fionn grinned. "You can sleep in my bed and I'll stay on the floor or in the spare room. Or you can go in the spare room, your choice."

"I'll be fine in the spare room. I don't want you to give up your bed." Dotty told him as he pulled her closer into his side as they cuddled on the sofa.

"I'd only be making it fair. After all, I stole you bed unintentionally, remember." The boy chuckled.

"It's fine. The spare room is fine." Dotty reassured him. "Thank you."

"Don't thank me, you are welcome over here whenever, Dot." Fionn smiled at her and instantly she found herself returning his gesture. "And for dinner, who do you like to help me cook some spaghetti bolognese?" He raises his right eyebrow, his smile turning into a smirk.

"I can't really cook, but sure."

"I'll teach you. It's not that hard of a dish, so it's a good way to start, is it not?"

Dotty nodded her head, "I guess so. And about the whole celebrity crush thing back at the cinema. You do know that I do like you a lot and no matter if I meet them, which is highly unlikely, or if I don't, it will be you I want, right?"

Fionn chuckled, "Dotty I know. Like I told you, everyone fancies a celebrity at least once in their life and no matter how many you do like, I don't care. I like you, you like me. We can have celebrities who tickle our fancy, I'm not going to say no you can't because that's stupid. Now, how about that bolognese?"

He clapped his hands together standing up and pulling the girl up after him and leading her into the kitchen. "Okay." Dotty Said.

"Now, Miss Dorothy Nolan, what is the first thing you do before cooking?" Fionn asked her.

"Wash our hands?" Fionn nodded poking her nose before washing his hands, Dotty doing the same.

After they had finished that he put on an apron he had hung up on the back of the door. And picked up the spare one. Fionn placed it over her head and turned her around to tie up the string around her back. "Wouldn't want your beautiful white top to get mucky."

She smiled at him gratefully. "Now what Mr Whitehead?"

"Well, we get the ingredients." Fionn said he took out the ingredients putting them all into the kitchen counter, not noticing the photo Dotty had taken of him. "Miss Nolan, what do you think we do now?"

"I don't know, tell me, sir? I am not sure." Dotty giggled putting her phone in her back pocket.

Fionn started to prep the ingredients, instructing Dotty on what to do in some parts, letting her cut up some onion and over things, him also sneaking a picture of Dotty, only she noticed.

"I don't think it's appropriate for a teacher to be taking a photo of a student." She smirked.

"Your my girlfriend, I don't care." Fionn Shrugged taking the onion and adding it to the wok that had the beef mince meat, mushrooms and chopped tomatoes already in it partly cooking.

"That's even more inappropriate!"  Fionn rolled his eyes and took a tea-towel in his hands stretching it out and letting one end go so it connected to Dotty's bum, she leaped and shrieked in shock. "FIONN!"

He winked at her laughing until she hit him with a different tea-towel. "Evil!"

"So it's okay when you do it and not me? That's so offensive!" She pouted.

Fionn covered his eyes and cried out, "No! Not the pout! No! I must not look!"

Dotty edged closer to the boy, still pouting, her plumper bottom lip ticking out and her eyes much like a those of a puppy's. Fionn kept turning away from her and kept his eyes covered even when Dotty's hands held onto the collar of his purple polo shirt.

"Fionn..." She said quietly. "Why won't you look at me?"

"Because...you...are...pouting!" He turned away even more after each word but found it difficult because of her holding onto him.

"No I am not!"

Gullible, Fionn believed her and sulked when he still found her pouting. "Fine...it's fine when you do it too!" He gave in and placed his hand on her waist walking forward with her walking backwards towards the hob. Removing one hand, he gave the mince and onion a stir so that it didn't stick before adding some mixed herbs.

Dotty rested her head on his shoulder moving her hands so that they sat on the middle of his back. "Do you find it weird that I am taller than you?"

"By what? Two inches? Not really." Fionn said to her, "Just don't grow anymore."

"I think I've stopped growing, Fionn. I am nineteen after all." She giggled pulling him closer if that was even possible. "Now what, sir?"

"We add the Dolmio sauce!" He said imitating an Italian accent.

"Not bad."

"Why thank you." Fionn smirked and handed her the jar as she pulled away from him. Dotty successfully popped open the jar and poured the sauce into the wok. "Now fill the jar about halfway with water and put the lid on, hold it and give it a shake then put it in too. It's like trying to get as much out of a shampoo bottle."

Dotty did as Fionn instructed as he walked behind her and placed his head in her shoulder and his hands on her stomach. "And stir?" She asked him.

"Yes."

"This isn't actually that hard!" Dotty exclaimed proudly. "I can kind of cook something!"

"That you can, you should be proud of yourself. After about twenty minutes we can put some garlic bread in the oven too."

Dotty nodded, "garlic bread is heaven. I could eat it for the rest of my life!"

"But you'd have smelly breath permanently."

"I don't care. I'd be happy."

"That's the spirit!"
