This story will contain the classic enemies to lovers, drama, sarcasm, profanity, crude humor, lots of sexual tension, lowkey fluff, a mess of feelings, laughs, the inclusion of high school cliques (to some extent), maybe angst, and wanting to yeet the fuck of characters.

While this book is going to be v cliché, character personalities will still not be what you are accustomed to. This is on purpose. No character is perfect; they are meant to resemble humans as much as possible (and as we all know, humans make mistakes ALL the time). Do not trash my characters in any disrespectful (offensive) way for the decisions they make, no matter how stupid and ridiculous they may be (i.e slurs, etc.)

There will be ships apart from SOPE. No bashing my side ships for any reason (i.e, saying oh vkook is so much better than taejin, etc.). No commenting on how they may act (namjoon's a top, why is he acting like he isn't, etc.?). Side ships are there for enjoyment and advancing the main ship.

Also, no 'but this is sope' comments, even as a joke. If I see any, I will automatically delete the comments and if it becomes an ongoing issue then I'm going to start automatically muting.

Fide High is the name of the made-up high school. Their mascot is the lions, courtesy of Alaska, who said, "a lion that closely resembles Scar from The Lion King" when I asked her what the mascot should be. 

And that is how the lions became the official mascot 😼

I was going to just use gifs as I normally do, but then I was like, wait a minute, this is in high school! So, I ended up spending a couple of hours designing what's supposed to look like school IDs. 

This also stemmed from my wanting to use Hoseok's Concept Photo because it matched exactly how I pictured Hoseok to look in A Clichéd Affair. There are no gifs of the concept photo, so I had to use him somehow 😏

I forgot I had no idea how to IDs from scratch so that is the best you are getting. I did all of that guys, it took so much time, so you better appreciate it 😪😫‼️

The quotes are meant to help you decipher what type of character each member is (before I officially start) ^^

Clearly speaking, BTS ages will not mirror those in real life. I would also advise you not to make assumptions just because of what their grade level says on their ID cards (why do I feel like there are already questions about Seokjin being a junior and JK being a senior 😪).

My first full attempt at a cliché fic. LET'S HOPE THIS GOES WELL.

Personally, I'm a big sucker for clichés and now it is [finally] time to start writing them myself.

A Clichéd Affair is set in the United States, so names will be in FIRST NAME, LAST NAME order, and is set during high school— specifically during their SENIOR years (only 3 are in their junior years). You'll see why this matters as the story progresses, I promise.

So I unpublished this for a bit, just to look over it and actually get myself to start writing this again (and a new cover of course as I'm sparkling with creativity). So, here we go again.
