It had been almost a week since the 53rd class had planned to participate in a karaoke night with each other. After class, Shuichi had headed down to the cafeteria to meet up with his friends, and have a taste of some of Teruteru's amazing food. As gross as many found him, Teruteru was very talented when it came to cooking. In all honesty, Shuichi was nervous to say the least. It's not like he had a talent for music and he didn't even know if his singing passed muster. A karaoke night would be fun, but at the same time, he considered it was a good way one could get blackmail material on him if he fucked up during his performance. Kaede on the other hand, couldn't wait and felt like the day couldn't pass by quick enough. She was hyped for the karaoke night, and was venting these emotions to everyone around her, which included Gonta, Miu, Kaito and Shuichi when he arrived, which just made him even more nervous. "I know you're coming and all, but are you going to sing Gonta?" Kaede asked the big guy. Gonta didn't reply, but nodded, which made Kaede smile merrily. "It's gonna be fucking sick!" Miu exclaimed "I have so many songs that I wanna sing!" "Same!" Kaito added "oh, by the way, Shuichi, if you don't sing at least one backstreet boys song with me, I'm gonna be pissed off..." "Don't worry, I got your back," Shuichi assured him "I'll see if I can get Rantaro and Keebo to join us tonight too, how about that?" "Sweet dude!" Kaito beamed. 

That evening, Shuichi met up with Kaede at her house and they both headed to Rantaro's. Shuichi had always assumed Rantaro was filthy rich, and when they got to his house, he was seriously believing it. Rantaro lived in a pretty expensive looking complex. It was far from a mansion, but it was still beyond anything he could afford. Rantaro let them in and led them to the large living room that had been rearranged for the event. "Hey, it'd be sweet if some people could help me carry down the karaoke stuff I got from upstairs," Rantaro asked everyone who was in the living room "Keebo? Maki? Gonta? Kirumi?" "If that's a request, then sure thing" Kirumi said, although the impact was lost since Kaede had insisted Kirumi wear normal clothes to the gathering, so she didn't look so much like the Ultimate Maid anymore. "Hey! Why didn't you ask me for help?" Kaito snapped at him "Because..." Rantaro told him "I am fairly certain if we had a game of arm wrestling, I could win with one finger..." Kaito refused to say anymore on the matter, and instead asked "Hey...shouldn't we wait for the guys who haven't showed up yet?" "Who has yet to arrive?" Keebo asked, looking around the room. "The cult of Atua went to go buy snacks," Rantaro said "they should be back soon..." "Who the fuck are the cult of Atua?" Miu asked "He's referring to Himiko, Tenko and Angie," Kiyo told her "it's what we've decided to call the three of them, since they hang out a lot it seems?" "Pretty much" Kaede smiled awkwardly. "How come no one's asking for my help?" Kaito asked "Listnen bud," Shuichi told him "you can help me with the wires and stuff, ok?" "Thanks bro!" Kaito said "Shuichi's the only one I can trust in this fucking group! Oh...and Gonta..." Gonta, who was curled up into a large ball in the corner of the room, trying to create more space for people to fit in Rantaro's already quite large living room. "See?" This chapter took AGES!

Usually I can write one chapter in a day, but this one in particular took me almost a WEEK!

Aw whatever, I enjoyed it ;)

I think a bulk of making this chapter was finding songs that would fit the characters that they could sing. As sad as it is to say, I've never gone to an official karaoke party before. The closest I've came is at my younger cousins birthday party where we got one of those toy mics and sang with that. Nothing else really.

The most enjoyable moment for me in this chapter was writing pretty much all of Miu's lines. She stole the god damn show in this chapter in my opinion. Speaking of whom, she and Keebo are a thing now, which I guess I should explain. Keebo and Miu, or as their ship name calls them, Kiiruma, isn't a ship that I'm a huge fan of, definitely not as much as the likes of Saimatsu or Naegiri (wink wink nudge nudge ;)) and more often than not, I see them as good friends as opposed to lovers, kind of like I see Ann and Ryuji in Persona 5. But MY GOD Miu needs a significant other. I WOULD say she's the type of girl who needs to get laid, but A) She probably has and B) Keebo's kinda the one who needs to get laid (not that he possesses reproductive organs but still...) Keebo also kind of needs a partner in his life. I kind of already explained it, but I feel bad for the guy quite a lot, since he's always being looked down upon and is often ignored by not only the other participants of the killing game, but also many who played V3, including me. The first time I played V3/ saw a playthrough of V3, I never gave Keebo any attention and didn't complete his Free Time events until Salmon Mode. Other than Shuichi, Miu is the only character who ever gave Keebo any significant attention, and that's why I think they make a perfect pairing. Let's just hope Miu doesn't get metal poisoning when the kiss ;7)

Anyway I'm exhausted after writing this. It's my sisters Bday, so I got a party to get to. I'll catch you guys in the next chapter B)
