An early evening came on Talladega Superspeedway as Skye was looking at her car, which was being moved by pit crew of her team to the start of pit-lane. Then she looked at Chases car which was staying in front of all cars and saw Chase who was talking with Marshall and wishing him good luck. Chase saw that Skye was looking at him and decided to talk with her.

Chase: Hey Skye.

Skye: Hey Chase, ready for race?

Chase: Of course. How about you?

Skye: My car had just moved to the end of the grid. I guess it's time.

Chase: Well, good luck (hugs Skye).

Skye (hugs Chase): Thanks. Good luck to you too.

Chase: Oh and one more thing.

Skye: Yeah?

Chase (kisses Skyes forehead): I'll wait to see you in my mirrors.

Skye: Hehe, don't worry. I'll make it happen.

Chase: I know you can (hears his car roaring). Well, the race is on.

They ran to their cars as Skye ran to her car for 20 seconds. When she got in she put her paws on steering wheel and took deep breaths, then Skye heard Vlad calling her.

Vlad: Radio check Skye.

Skye: Loud and clear.

Vlad: Alright, this is it. The last race of the season, just fight back and don't give up.

Skye: This pup's gotta fly!

Greg: Atta girl! Good luck! Chase already exited the pit-lane, just wait when cars right in front of you will go.

All 40 cars exited the pit-lane for formation lap, when Chase approached start/finish line he slowed down and so did other drivers. Skye also slowed down looking at cars in front.

Skye (thoughts): Let's have fun. I'll see you soon Chasey!

The steward waved green flag and the final race of championship has started. Chase easily drove away from Marshall and Everest who also started to drive away from Zuma and Rubble as they started fighting for 4th place. Soon Rocky overtook Tracker and joined the battle from which Rubble escaped as a winner and took P4. On lap 12 gap between Chase and Marshall was 1.8 seconds already when the gap between P3 and P4 was only 0.4 seconds. On lap 37 Everest suddenly overtook Marshall for P2 and brought Rubble with her who started fighting with Marshall for podium place. Lap later Tracker overtook Rocky back for 6th place and started chasing Zuma who was 0.6 seconds in front of him. For first 60 laps Skye went from P40 to P34, which was a good start of breakthrough. On lap 83 Marshall finally defeated Rubble and held his 3rd place, then he started chasing Everest who drove away for almost a second. After lap 92 the gap between Chase and Everest was 2.1 second. Top-8 at the end of lap 100.

Because of long distance, the race control told everybody to have at least 4 stops. On lap 107 Tracker decided to undercut Zuma for P5 so he pitted on this lap. 4 laps later Rubble also decided to undercut Marshall and pitted on lap 112. However Marshall pitted lap later and easily defended himself from undercut. On lap 118 Rocky pitted and came back on P7, Chase pitted on lap 125 and returned back on P1. Everest pitted on lap 133 and fell to P4 behind Marshall and Rubble. Skye pitted on lap 145 and gained 2 more postions going on P31. Everest used the opportunity of fresh tires and started quckily catching Marshall and Rubble. Trackers undercut worked successfully and he got on P5. Zuma kept staying out which was resulted by dropping to P7 on lap 172 and that's when he pitted. After his stop he was the fastest driver on track and from lap 179 to lap 184 he overtook Rocky, Tracker and even Rubble who couldn't keep up in Marshalls pace. Meanwhile Skye came up to P26 on lap 190.

Vlad: That's it, keep pushing!

Skye: I'm really enjoying it sooo much!

On lap 194 Tracker overtook Rubble for P5, but because of tyre wear Rubble returned his postion back without problems. Top-8 at the end of lap 200.

On lap 204 gap vetween race leader and second place was almost 3 seconds, which made Chase decide to pit first from top-8 on lap 208. Rubble decided to use Trackers plan on first stop against him so he pitted on lap 213, but Tracker kept staying out and after his stop on lap 219 he came back in front of Rubble and started driving away from him. Everest pitted on lap 226 and almost crashed at Rocky while exiting the pit-lane.

Everest: What was Rocky doing?! He was on the inside of track and I almost smashed into his rear!

Logan: Copy that. We're reporting it!

This incident caused Marshall to pit just 2 laps later after Everests stop and he came back on 2nd place with 3.2 second gap from Chase, which started decreasing as Marshall started approaching him. Rocky pitted on lap 236 without losing his P7. Surprisingly for crowd Chase and Skye pitted on lap 240 together. Chase kept leading the race as Skye moved from P26 to P22.

Chase: Which postion is Skye on?

Matt: She's 22nd.

Chase: That's my girl!

Matt: (laughs a little)

Meanwhile Tracker caught Zuma on lap 258 who kept staying out and just when he overtook him, Zuma pitted and came back behind Rocky. Then the same thing happened just like after 1st wave of pit-stops, but this time Tracker wasn't included. On lap 270 he was 0.4 seconds behind Everest. On lap 275 Rocky received drive-through penalty because of incident with Everest.

Jimmy: Ok man, we got a drive-through penalty because of incident with Everest.

Rocky: What?! I didn't see her!!

Maria: She was exiting the pit-lane when you appeared on the inside of track and blocked the way a little bit.

Rocky: I was overtaking lapper so I went on the inside! It's ridiculous!!

Jimmy: We'll report it to stewards. Keep your head down!

On lap 291 Skye moved up into 19th place when she felt something wrong.

Skye: I feel vibrations!

Vlad: Damn it!! Slow puncture, rear-left!! Box box box!!

On lap 292 Skye pitted and dropped to P23. Top-8 at the end of lap 300.

On lap 305 all pups agrred with their engineers that stint between 3rd and last stop wil be longer that previous two stints. And for making it more possible, 3rd wave of pit-stops started on lap 321. On lap 324 Zuma pitted first to overtake Tracker who decided to stay out and do overcut against Everest. Rubble pitted on lap 330 and Rockys penalty was cancelled on same lap. Rocky pitted on lap 336 and returned on track in front of Rubble. Marshall pitted on lap 342 trying to undercut Chase, but he pitted lap later and kept his race lead. Tracker pitted on lap 347 and stayed in front of Zuma but couldn't overtake Everest as she pitted on lap 349 and stayed ahead of Tracker. During this wave Skye jumped from P23 to P15 and on lap 363 she moved up into 14th place.

Vlad: More than half of job is done! We can make it! Just keep going!

Skye: Yeah!! Let's go!!

On lap 371 Rubble overtook Rocky for P6 as Tracker got closer to Everest not seeing that he also brought Zuma behind him. 

Ricardo: Careful amigo! Zuma's behind you. It's not a joke!

Hearing this made Tracker push throttle pedal to the metal and quickly overtake Everest for P3. She wanted to fight back, but Kevin didn't let her do so.

Kevin: Just focus on management. Use Zuma to get closer to Tracker as he will destroy his tyres.

Everest: I got it!

Meanwhile Skye moved up from P14 to P12 then she slowed down a bit.

Skye: Need to manage tyres for final push!

Greg: Good, good! Keep it up.

On lap 388 gap between Chase and Marshall was 1.2 seconds, but Chase wasn't driving as fast as before, he was focused on management. On lap 397 Marshall finally caught Chase and overtook him for P1, causing everybody to cheer.

Valeria: Just keep tyre managing. You're doing good. We can later.

Chase: Copy, who's also pushing as Marshall?

Valeria: Tracker, who's on P3. He's also pushing, not managing.

Top-8 at the end of lap 400.

The last wave of pit-stops started from lap 436 and Tracker was first from Top-8 to pit on lap 438. An early stop dropped him to P7, letting Zuma and Everest earn one postion. Then Zuma pitted on lap 444 and came back in front of Marshall who pitted 7 laps later. Everest pitted on lap 455, letting Chase pit 3 laps later after her stop and maintain the lead. Rocky pitted on lap 461, but kept driving behind Rubble who pitted 2 laps later. Skye pitted on lap 469 and moved to P9, but just lap later it turned into P8. 

Vlad: Awesome job Skye!! You're in top-8 and you have the freshest tyres among them! Go for it!!

Skye: Last push! Here we go!!

Because of backmackers the gap between P7 and P8 was 1.6 seconds, but on lap 482 the gap was only 0.7 seconds. Four laps later Skye overtook Tracker for P7 and started chasing Rocky.

Denny: Looks like Skye has very fresh tyres. Stay close behind her so we can improve our position.

On lap 495 Skye overtook Rocky for 6th place and so did Tracker lap later. Top-8 at the end of lap 500.

On lap 504 Skye got in attack distance behind Rubble and one lap later she overtook him. Unfortunatelly Tracker stuck behind Rubble and started fighting with him for P6. On lap 512 Marshall started drafting behind Everest who caught Zuma and both of them overtook Zuma on lap 513 and just when they overtook him, Marshall exited from Everests slipstream and overtook her for P2. On lap 525 Skye was 0.8 seconds behind Zuma, who lost his P4 in no time. But for Skye the hardest part of breakthrough has only began: she was 2.4 seconds behind Marshall and Everest and almost 4 seconds behind Chase.

Vlad: You can use rich mode of fuel for more speed! We almost made it!!

On lap 537 the gap to P2 and P3 was only 1.1 seconds, 3 laps later - 0.6 already. On lap 543 Everest overtook Marshall again for P2, but he started drafting behind her again and at this moment Skye took the opportunity and drafted behind Marshall. On lap 551 Marshall got enough speed and overtook Everest back, but Skye gained more speed and overtook both of them round the outside in turn 3 and took P2 with 2.7 second gap to Chase.

Greg: Yes yes yes!! Go for it Skye!! You're P2!

Skye: We're not done yet, so hold up!!

On lap 563 the gap was 1.6 second already as Skye kept approaching Chase by 0.3 seconds per lap and on lap 571 she was less than second behind Chase.

Matt: Look who's behind you!

Chase: That's my Skye! I knew she'd do it!

On lap 576 Skye was less than 0.4 seconds behind Chase and 5 laps later she went on wheel to wheel fight with Chase. They raced ech other so much that on lap 587 they made contact by wheels and lost control lightly making everyone gasp.

Matt: Everything OK?!

Chase: Yeah, just a light 'kiss' with my girlfriend! (laughs) Tyre pressure is good!

Greg: Any damage?

Skye: Nope! Everything's good!

From lap 588 they raced each other still wheel to wheel, but at the start of final 600th lap Chase was a little bit ahead of Skye.

Vlad: Last lap!! Now or never!!

Chase was ahead of Skye for almost whole lap, but then Skye gave one final push on exit of turn 3 and both drivers crossed the line together. 30 seconds later after their finish, race control announced that Chase and Skye are both winners of Talladega 600, which meant that both pups are NASCAR champions. The crowd on track went wild, so did crew in their garages, especially in first two.

Vlad: Yeeeeeessss!!! Brilliant, well done!! You are the NASCAR champion!! Chase is champion too!!

Skye: Oh my god!!! We did it!! We did iiiit!!!!

Matt: Hahahahahah!!!! Wooooooo!!!! This is it!! Chase, you're the NASCAR champion!! Both you and Skye are P1, which means Skye is also NASCAR champion!!!

Chase: Yesssss guys!!! So proud of you all!! Especially Skye!!!

Matt: Why I am not surprised?!! Amazing job buddy!!!

As all drivers parked their cars and got out from them, Chase and Skye ran to the field in front of crowd where a special platform has appeared. When Skase jumped on platform a NASCAR championship trophy has arrived and Chase and Skye lifted up the trophy with howls from their mouths as confetti started to fall on them. The couple did that for 25 seconds then they put trophy down and looked at each other.

Chase: We did it Skye! We did it!

Skye: I can't belive it too! You and me are champions!

Then long pause appeared as Skase stared at each other and suddenly they leaned and kissed each other earning cheers from everyobdy for 20 seconds. Then Chase and Skye let go and hugged each other.

Skye: I love you Chasey, no matter what we are together forever!

Chase: Together forever sweetheart!

Then Skase let go from hug and waved to the crowd.

THIS IS IT GUYS!! Now Chase and Skye are champions, but the book isn't over yet! I'll make some epilogue and yeah, it's the longest chapter I've ever written. Hope you will like and support my work. See you soon and stay safe ))))
